I didn't realize there was a gaming logo on the rear of these mugs. Mine is there... It's just a little worse for wear.

Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 10/22/2013, 03:03 PMMan, the boxed Aladdin looks minty!
The Genesis games were a gift from my aunt, who found them at a yard sale for $1 a piece. They're in excellent condition and all CIB, some with posters.
Soul Star is an amazing game. It really shows the mostly untapped potential the Sega CD had.
Quote from: DragonmasterDan on 10/21/2013, 10:59 AMmine has a misprint, there's a drawing of a man in drag on the cover rather than anything that looks like Yuko.LOL. Made my day.
Quote from: Nulltard on 09/21/2013, 04:06 PMI might have just found me a new avatar.
Quote from: guest on 09/17/2013, 10:13 PMTa daaaaaaaaaaaa...... Thank you Jibbajaba, fits greatWhat the fuck don't you have in your collection Sparky? Nice fit on the tee. Have you been working out?
Quote from: guest on 09/17/2013, 11:29 AMSo this weekend I went to the local anime convention, Nan Desu Kan (NDK 2013), for one day and had a good time. The main reason I went is because Hidenori Matsubara was going to be there, he's a big name animation director and character designer that worked on the Ah My Goddess series and Evangelion as well. So, I got in the autograph line and asked him to sign a couple things for me:Very nice xelementx.
First my Ah My Goddess Box Set

Then he did a sketch of Asuka for me from Eva on the back of my liner notes book from the first volume of the Eva DVDs.

Then I got back in line a second time hoping for a second sketch. Little known fact is that he worked on the 8th episode of Bubblegum Crisis as well. So I asked him to do a sketch of Priss for me on the back of my LaserDisc liner notes. He was really intrigued by the fact I had brought a LaserDisc to be signed and wanted to look at it too. I was sooooo close to getting a second sketch done, but I was told NO by the NDK Staff lady who was in charge since there was only about 10 minutes left. She refused to let me have the time to get a second sketch (even though others had) because she wanted her own stuff signed. He at least gave me an autograph and a quick sketch on the notes though.

Anyway, at the dealer room I grabbed some small stuff, free Funimation posters (Fujiko, yeaaa):
And a couple other things, a small Persona 4 figure, a program guide, and a stuffed Moogle for my daughter:

The last thing I grabbed, was completely outside the anime con, but I had managed to get everything organized in advance. I talked with a guy on Craigslist and scored a Sony PVM-20M4U. I met with him at a Starbucks near the con before leaving and loaded it up into my Corolla! Then when I got home, I took some time to test it out in my garage.
I don't have anything that outputs RGB now, but I will be working on it soon. In the meantime I used S-Video to test and make sure it worked. What a waste to break it in with a SNES though!!
Quote from: c0ldb33r on 09/03/2013, 04:22 PMNovus is a plastic polish right? That's a neat idea. The finish on a duo is smooth, albeit mime is a little scratched. Is the PCE Duo black? I'm too lazy to look it up.
Thanks:)

Quote from: hoobs88 on 07/29/2013, 11:10 PMNice job! What is an OLFA box cutter knife? I grabbed some spare foam from work with the intention of making my own Turbo Express case but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks!
Quote from: guest on 06/25/2013, 11:33 AMVery cute. I don't get why you put the logo upside down though. Is that just the camera flipping the image?
Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 06/21/2013, 03:56 PMGot some awesome goodies today, courtesy of m'lady.Jesus Christ... I've been trying to get a TurboExpress for 8 months now. You come strolling in with a monster haul, and there it is. Damnit!

Quote from: playthegame119 on 06/18/2013, 08:14 PMAfter waiting a long time for a good way to enter the turbografx scene, I found it a couple weeks ago. I managed to get lucky and nab it in an overlooked listing for just over $300 and I think I got a very good deal, but I'll let you guys decide. So you're the guy that beat my highest bid ($301.00) on this auction. I really wanted that TurboExpress case. I have the matching TurboGrafx-16 hard case and it would have been awesome to have the pair. Congrats on the win, I'm still sour about it.
The turbografx works good but the power supply isn't for the cd system, just the turbografx so if anyone knows where I can get a replacement let me know. The turbo express had no audio or video but I was able to repair it and now its rocking. Before anyone asks I am keeping the case because I think it's sweet and it will be useful for trips but if anyone is interested the green bad is up for trade. Excited to enter the world of turbografx!
For those interested here is the original ebay listing

Quote from: guest on 06/15/2013, 07:55 AMYa sorry no obey this weekend for me, been looking forward to this release for awhile.Argh! I ordered mine from eStarland and they ran out! WTF?! I'm on the "Notify Me" list now.
So i am playing this, getting drunk and eating chicken fingers later tonight.
Oh and home alone so my sound system is getting cranked til my dogs ears bleed.
Good day.
How's the art book?
Quote from: guest on 05/21/2013, 07:32 PMLook at the size of this motherfucker!It is enormous. My panini press is smaller than that. A lot of Twitter posts suggested it looked like a top loading VCR. The best comment I saw was;
Quote from: PCEngineHell on 05/21/2013, 08:16 PMNot bad. I would have added teeth or had it verbally insulting you while inserting your monies.
Fixed to better represent the truth of the matter.

Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 04/28/2013, 04:47 PMI traded in a bunch of stuff & got a model 1 Genesis w/ two six-button controllers. Also, my friend gave me this:Damn the image looks pretty crisp.
It only accepts mono RCA input, but it has RGB input as well. Plus it looks all retro & shit.Looks like I might be learning how to do RGB mods...or paying someone to do them for me.
Quote from: nectarsis on 04/19/2013, 07:08 PMI have all of these. If you're looking for more hit me up. I'll give you a good deal. I have about 800 comics (DC/Marvel/Image) stored, backed, and bagged.

Quote from: galam on 10/25/2012, 09:02 PMToopy & Binoo plush toys. You can get them through Amazon. Toopy (mouse) is about 12" tall. Binoo (sock cat) is only 5" tall. Binoo comes attached to Toopy, but he can be easily removed. I paid $30 off a local eBay guy. $40 is the going rate. $50 and you're paying too much.Quote from: FiftyQuid on 10/24/2012, 08:51 PMNot gaming related, but I bought this for my son and it arrived today; No, but please elaborate. Looks like my kids may enjoy them.
Super happy with it. I think I'm going to save it and give it to him for Christmas. Anyone in the U.S.A. familiar with these guys?
