I pack in a double espresso and shoot it long. It's weaker per oz than a cup of espresso, but I have more of it and it's stronger than a regular cup of coffee, with a nice thick foam on top.

We got it through credit card points, though otherwise we would have continued using a moka pot.

Just got an Arcade Card Pro. This way I'll be able to get my old CD-ROM2 Interface unit back in full order and ready to play all games. Now I just need a System Card 1.0 in order to play Altered Beast CD.

It was designed to replace the 5200. The big consoles of 1983 did not include the Famicom, they included the 5200, ColecoVision, Vectrex, and the 2600, which was still going strong. The 7800 was going to be the first out the door, basically.

The Famicom was nothing in 1983, and there was no reason to expect Nintendo to be able to compete with the Atari behemoth, except that they neutered themselves and Nintendo was surprisingly awesome.

Oh, they also might have had Sega on their eyes, but this was Sega in 1983:



This was the 7800:



The NES version, imo superior of all home versions, wasn't released until a year after the 7800 Galaga was coded.

I just went today to a store in Manhattan called Video Games New York. Here's a photo of what I saw today.

I'll second what tool said. VGNY is always overpriced. 8bit isn't really better, either. Game Champ had good prices, but I don't think any are in Manhattan, adn they closed the one I went to in Brooklyn. Never saw any Turbo in them anyway.

I don't think medic's typos are that bad. Years ago, I had to learn to not be a spelling/grammar nazi because many people online are not native English speakers, for example, and now we have lots of people using mobile devices that can make typing properly hard to do all the time. So we should all just lighten up on that kind of thing.

There are certainly worse posting habits to have to deal with on a regular basis.
