Ok Oldskool and I tried this out last night, and gotta say this game is legit! It really captures the spirit of what made Alien Crush a good game. Download it, you won't be dissapointed. With all the updates and options this game has a lot going for it. Let's use this post to share Wii #'s and get some online gaming going (there are 4 player modes). I had a blast playing 1 player, imagine how multiplayer will be. Here is my Wii #:

Hit Mail icon (lower right) > Create Message > Address book - you will see your wii #

Copy that down and post that in this forum. Then you need to register someone else. So take down my wii # above and:

go to Message > Address Book > Register > Others > Wii > and enter the person you wish to register

2 people have to have each registered before they can communicate / send messages. Post up, let's play. Support Hudson Soft for releasing a sequel after almost 2 decades to a classic!

"With Alien Crush Returns, Hudson has somehow managed to retain all of the unique and addictive elements of the original game while simultaneously adding in enough fresh game play ideas to bring the cult classic properly up to date. While the game is a bit on the short side and doesn't feature the type of depth some gamers might be looking for, it's difficult to deny that Alien Crush Returns is everything an Alien Crush fan could want out of a remake; the only problem is that it just leaves you wanting more. Hopefully the downloadable content will help alleviate that."

Got this today, it's great despite not having the original music. Managed to rank 14th on the 3rd stage which I'm quite chuffed at as I'm usually rubbish at high scores.

Does it seem that Alien Crush doesn't have different score tables for the different difficulty settings? I find that a bit odd (not to mention unfair).

Hey Duo_R, just FYI, you need to share your Alien Crush friend code, not your Wii friend code.  Fire up Alien Crush, go to Versus Mode and hit +.  Choose "Friend Code" to view your individual friend code and "Friend Roster" to register other people.

My code is 5413-3214-9266.  Go ahead and add me.  We don't need to be friends at the Wii level, so we can skip that.

Just downloaded this game off of Wiiware last week and am digging it! So much in fact i went and got a copy of Alien Crush for my PCE good times.
