Thanks guys.   :)
We're hitting the home-stretch on the series.   Hard to believe only 55 some left to cover.

M1Savage

Enjoyed your Ghost Manor review! I've always thought it was a decent game except for the "waiting for elevators" part and the damn fire pits. Good stuff.

ChrisBucci

Ha ha.   Indeed!   :)
I have about five games in the pipeline (played and captured in the computer).  Just have to get to them.
Thanks for watching!

Me too. I've been wanting this review, especially since i completed the game!

ChrisBucci

It is not in the next five.   But, I have a list picked out up through review #100 (including a handful of imports) and it IS in that list.   ;)

Bernie

I'd like to know how you plan on reviewing Might and Magic III....  Isn't like you can just play through that one in a sitting or two.  :)

ChrisBucci

Ha ha!   Well ... there are a good handful of games I "am awful at that are way out of my area of gaming interest" so ... I will be soliciting some help on those reviews (to make sure we get some integrity and information).   I can tell you that M&MIII is one of 'em.  :)

I volunteer. Just trade me your copy in exchange for my service and we've got a deal!
It's a trap!  Be sure that you and Nulltard are in full agreement on the definition of "service" in this arrangement.

Yes SIR!!!     Ha ha.  :)

Honestly, I have played, captured in the computer and written scripts for SIX different games.   I just have to get to the creation of the vids themselves.   But, I just started a new job and rehearsals for "The Addams Family" musical so ... time has shrunk quite a bit (as it usually does, urgh!).

Thanks as always for the positive feedback though!  As always.   :)

Groover

I have really been enjoying your turbo views. Also it is great that you have been so enthusiastic about Turbo games and have been at making videos since you played them back in the day. Thanks again for sharing all the old videos like the Dracula X-cellent Master Tape. great tips.

ChrisBucci

Thanks Groover!   I appreciate it.
I really enjoy doing them and am so glad people enjoy it.  :)
(PS:  That Dracula-X tape ... what memories, lol)

You sir are my favorite.  I like everything, I have none complaint or critique.  My only concern is that you will run out of Turbo Games one day.  We must get on the PC Engine side of things and possibly other systems?

Another great ep. To bad i have no interest in this game. Wish is had some music

A Black Falcon

Yeah, I've never particuarly liked Klax either... great ad slogan, but the game's not one of the better blockdropping puzzle games of the time, really.  It's okay, but there's better out there.  As for the TG16 port, definitely looks good apart from the absence of a two player splitscreen mode.  The NES and Genesis versions of Klax have splitscreen support, so it's too bad that the TG16 (and all the other ports, it seems) don't.

Psycho Punch

Only thing I like in this game is the rotating K in the title screen.

I haven't watched many of the videos. Sometimes it's because I don't want his views to influence my opinion (because I haven't really played a game seriously yet).
IMGIMG IMG  |  IMG  |  IMG IMG

Bernie

Oh, well let it be known, he does not push his opinion on a game.  His views are his, and he lets that be known.  Buccis videos are a great way to figure out if you wanna buy a game actually.

Time for some catch-up viewing.

KING OF CASINO!!!!!

If I had an Express I'd totally play this instead of solitaire on my phone on road trips.

Makes me remember having to continue playing Valis 3 where I left last year. Or was it even another year before? Oh well.
Great videos by the way, I enjoy them everytime and appreciate that you share your honest opinion in a comprehensible way. One thing that I think stands out very positively against other gaming channels is your voice and your pacing. Keep on with your reviews and thank you so much.

The English dub is pretty bad! But for some reason I still love it, maybe it's because I played it in English first. Granted, I did eventually got the PC Engine version and played it in all it's Japanese-y glory but the English version just has a certain, cheesy charm to it. Valis III is easily my favorite.

THIS!!!

A lifetime ago, when I was going to college, I had a long break between classes one semester, but I lived far enough away that it wasn't worth driving home, so I'd sit in my car and play King of Casino on the Express. That was the best part of that semester. :)

That is seriously awesome! If I would have had an Express back in college I would have done the exact same thing with Casino and the Crush series thrown in for fun  :D

I used to take the Crush games on trips with me all the time.   Sadly, I get motion-headaches so ... I couldn't play for long.  :(

Yeah, I'm sure the Crush games had their fair share of play, but it's the Casino game I remember playing the most. I remember one day showing a classmate Street Fighter II (using one of those green diving board converters) on the Express and he wasn't all that impressed, mostly due to lack of buttons.  Good times...

Last I heard of Chris, he was thinking of deactivating his Facebook account citing a "broken heart..." I and others commented thumbs down on the idea and I think he just deleted the thread later. Anyway, doubt he's thinking about a new episode as of late.

But there's still half the library to review :(  I just recently got hooked on Turbo Views with that catchy rocking theme song intro.  If I had to make one complaint I'd say spida is too kind to the bad games.
