[PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / Where do I find the right power supply for my new PCE Briefcase IFU-30 ?]

I just picked up a loose/empty PCE Engine Briefcase IFU-30, and went to slot in my PC Engine (white) and found the same Power supply for the PCE console itself won't work on the Briefcase (I guess because it would have to power both devices). 

Is there another console with a compatible power supply ? Doesn't seem any of the Genesis Model 1 or 2 will work.  The one from my SuperGrafx or PC  Engine (white) doesn't work.

So question from a "PCE-newb", where would I find a good power supply for this Briefcase.  Anyone selling one, or can point me to a website that is.   I will hit up google for some research, but just figured someone here can likely answer off the top of their head.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any chance you would consider shipping to Canada ? as I have a good buddy, someone who helps out a lot of people in the Retro Gaming community up here in Toronto, Canada that might be interested. I already bought batch 1 & 2 from you .. expecting batch 2 to arrive likely tomorrow.   But what I will do with this set, assuming you are okay to give me a second set.   A local gamer buddy helped me out big the other day, when my furnace was acting up, when I had a house full of relatives over the weekend. He's a HVAC technician by trade, and he dropped what he was doing and helped me out on a Sunday to get heat going again (I'm in Canada, it's been near freezing out).  He won't accept cash for this gesture,  but I did turn him onto TG16 about 6-8 months ago and I know he recently got a Duo-R.  I will gift these to him for as a Thank-you for his good deed.  He's a standup dude, and I can assure you they will remain with him. Let me know if that works for you

Not sure his uid on this forum. But Jodi Whetham is making cases and manuals for these games.  You can find him commenting in the main Facebook Group "Turbob XPress".  Quality looks great, and price is solid.  Mind you he is in Canada .. so will be more costly shipping to the US for some of you.

I was eager to get my TG16 at launch. Picked it up from Radio Shack (in Canada) with two additional launch titles.  Loved that system, talked two other buddies into getting one .. and my local video rental store into carrying games for rental (not sure that worked out well for them).  But then like most other consoles it eventually got sold at a yard sale. Assuming I was raising funds to build a gaming PC.  Anyway reacquired a TG16 just after graduating college (so 16 years ago).  It was only in the last 3 years that I started collecting heavily and grabbed a SuperGrafx, PC Engine Duo-R, PCE GT, and Turbo Express. So my jump into PC Engine games is fairly recent.

In Canada anyway .. they started backing in Bonk's Revenge CIC, and then just Keith Courage HuCard and Manual.  And there were some extra Bonk's related inserts.

This is on the regular TG16 console ... not the later TurboDuo with Gates 4-in-1.

That was my understanding also .. but I have some buddy's with "poster envy"  ;-)   I want to track down the inserts that came later when Bonks was a pack-in/bundled-in game.  Or the cardstock that they simply stuck over the front of the standard box.  Never really see it up my way (Toronto, Canada)

Okay, so I finally tracked down a TG16 pack-in poster that was missing from my not so complete boxed console I picked up ~15 years ago.

I recalled having this with the new console, I got on launch day and my local Canadian Radio Shack.  So that nostalgic part of me, just had to get one back.

I want to settle some discussion with some fellow gamers/collectors.  I am under the impression that this 25x30" pack in poster came in each and every TG16 console sold (at least in North America)

Can someone advise if at any time they stopped shipping NA TG16 consoles with this poster.

CD games are region free. So if you have a TG16 with CD add on, or a Turbo Duo you can play all the PCE CD based games without any mod required.  And PCE Japanese versions of most games, are much  much cheaper.

Is it really  ? .. I don't recall that.  But it has been 20+ years.  Can you upload a photo of front and back ? Id be interested to refresh the old memory.   But if Nulltard can print me the front side .. Nulltard,  I would certainly buy a quality reproduction of the poster from you.  As having one rolled, versus folded will make a nicer product for me to frame.  Please do let me know.   I'll continue looking for the two pieces I need to make my boxed console complete.  But a repro poster is perfectly fine for the framing, and displaying that I want to do.

When I bought a boxed console acouple years back this poster, the black card stock that I believe thanked you for your purchase and the Keith Courage mini comic was missing.  I've found the comic since.   But still looking for this poster, and the black card stock

I really want to find a nice clean poster in order to frame it and put it in a spot of prominence in my man cave.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Willing to pay reasonable cost for poster, and shipping to me in Canada.

I am looking to pickup a TG16 Turbo Stick.  I would ideally like it to be CIB with a 7.5/10 or better box and inserts.
