RIP to BT Garner of MindRec.com... He passed away early 2023 from health problems. BT was one of the top PCE homebrew developers and founder of the OG Turbo List, then PCECP.com. Condolences to family and friends.  |

Using a giant shoulder-mounted VHS camcorder, I still remember when I was little playing with stuffed animals and filming them acting out dramas for the camera. This planted the seed that interested me into the world of video editing, cinematography, photography and production.
I am the webmaster and creator of Pcenginefx . com. Through the years I've expanded the site to what it is today - the ultimate largest resource for the NEC line of console systems.

I knew nothing about the Turbo other than what was playing on the game kiosk in front of my eyes side-by-side with a Sega Master System.
Standing there for at least an hour, I compared the two consoles over and over. Something eventually clicked and I choose to buy the TurboGrafx-16 and it was at that moment that Pcenginefx . com was born out of my love for the console and then later developing the largest English site for the 32-Bit NEC PC-FX.
As with anything with the passage of time, interests and priorities change. Long gone are the days that all I cared about was my next TurboGrafx game...being a husband for 20+ years and now a father, it's time to finally close out this chapter that started in 1989...On Nov.1 2020, Pcenginefx . com will close for good.
I want to finish by saying thank you to all of you that visited, supported & contributed to Pcenginefx . com over the years. I know many of you discovered the TurboGrafx/PC-FX and have made some incredible friends because of the site and I'm extremely glad it had that kind of impact. I greatly appreciate all of the support and it was because of you that I was able to keep the site running for 30+ years.
