Haven't watched the full video yet and it may all be bullshit, but my friend just sent me this link.
They think it's going to be this.

*cough very rough translations for the sorcerian article*
The guy with the dog mask is a tipster reporting that this a a big hit RPG that needs no introduction, you can choose freely the scenarios and the game has a groundbreaking magic system!

FROM MAKERS SIDE
Socerian originally appeared on pc and in the game the player can choose the characters and scenarios which is a big appeal.  From the original game 7 scenarios made it bringing a total of 10 scenarios.  There are 60 jobs to perform and variety of magic.  The music composition is from Kenji Kawai.  Do not miss the fun!!

coming back to this thread I honestly feel the pc engine sound chip benefits greatly when the audio is fed through  a sound equaliser.

I just been trying my hand with DaVinci video editing and the sound equaliser in that while I'm getting to grips with it I am almost happy to get my captures to sound almost as it did when I hooked my pce to an old analogue amp I owned for 20 years. But sadly one of the audio channels is screwed up so I only get sound coming from 1 speaker...
IMG

Just like gamers today struggling to get their fancy consoles to display the correct brightness/tones and saturations on their high end 4k screens.  Old systems like the pc engine should be hooked to audio systems and calibrated to sound great.
Now I wonder if I can make Rastan Saga 2 sing?

Quote from: Everblue on 04/16/2018, 09:05 AMI find that the PCE controller cable are too short, same with the Super Famicom's. I wonder if the idea is to hook up the console only when you are going to play, place the controller on the floor as far from the TV as possible, then sit a couple of feet on the floor, away from the console.
Sakura's stage from SF Alpha/Zero 2 I thought conveyed a typical Japanese gamer back in the day.

This just hit the xbox stores today.  I 've downloaded it but had little time to play.  Looks like the xbox version is digital only.

"contains a speedrun mode as well as the addition of a "blood" setting that lets players determine the quantity of blood on display in the game".
IMG

Also
I'm not liking this that much but it's unique and again put a few minutes just wandering around.

Which both are also available on other platforms.

You can look into Red Dead Redemption. the xbox 360 version is backwardly compatible with xbox one and just a few hours ago MS uploaded a patch to bump the resolution playing it on 1X brings the game up to 4k or it can supersampling scale it down to 1080p on non 4k screens

Needed a new pair of headphones "cans". These are a little big to wear out, the wire is really thick and the music seeps out but for recreational use they sound good though as in nice balance.

Quote from: guest on 01/28/2018, 02:08 AMOh, by the way I just watched this piece of """"avant-garde"""" garbage.

IMG

WOW how subversive! 1 hour of an unentertaining re-dub of a cheesy kung-fu film where all characters are slogan spewing machines and the "hilarious" jokes come from obscure Situationist stuff and from a female narrator who does hilarious remarks during dialog-less scenes such as "Imbecile bearing a sack of petitions, justly trampled underfoot by the servants of the State." (we get it already, STATE CAPITALISM BAD), "There is no suspense, only a jerk would not know how this ends." (yes I'm wasting my time watching this thanks for the reminder) and "For this part please refer to 'bla bla bla something something'. pages xxx-xxx." (uhh no, fuck off lady. And yes, she does ask you to refer to one of their publications in the middle of the goddamn movie, I'm serious )

No I didn't watch the movie fully and I'll never will, I'd rather buy their back catalog of propaganda and eat page by page. That would have been more enjoyable than watching this trash that ironically undermines itself by being so propaganda filled to the point of feeling like a parody of what it's trying to parrot to the viewer.

IMG

This is obscure for a reason. A propaganda movie made by Situationists for Situationists, there is literally zero value for anyone not under their ideology. Maybe some hardcore leftist can find something here, I don't know and I certainly don't care. ZERO/10
haha these guys!
IMG

Gonna watch it on youtube

Quote from: Gredler on 01/18/2018, 09:39 PMDigi how did you like XBC2?
Xeno Chron 2 feels a mess.  I almost traded it in several times after encountering a lot of frustrating moments during gameplay which left me switching off the machine but in the end I still put in over 180 hours into it.  I really like the character cast towards the end (although some make me cringe)  and I love love the music in this game. This the first Xeno game on the Nintendo systems I actually played till the end.  Now I can definitely trade it in.

IMG

I think if it wasn't for these characters Nia and Morag I would probably have gotten bored of Xen Chron 2

In the end I actually wanted to fight more mech enemies

EDIT

Also I haven't gone through this whole thread but also check out Gundam Side Story.  It's quite short and comes in 3 parts.  They should be pretty cheap to buy too.

I love the CD cases which are cardboarded

Quote from: wildfruit on 08/10/2015, 01:00 PMI would say Nandos is my favourite. Mmmm chicken
Nando's is like the upmarket KFC

Macdonalds although a hit and miss sometimes it feels like I'm chewing cardboard but some stores they get it right and I love the way you can now order at those touch screen self service points and have the food delivered to your seating zone.

Itsu is a great sushi chain, pricey but when you crave the sashimi that's the place for me.

Burger King I crave every now and then but only the restaurant near Aldgate near the whitechapel art gallery

Brick lane is another great place for food especially on the Sunday morning/noon times.  Lots of vendors selling food from all corners of the earth in one spot.

Also any shop that does decent middle eastern; Shawarma, falafel and doner kebabs :Q

EDIT:

If i'm not lazy... I make my own fast food.
