Does anybody here have the TG16 black jacket?

Fear the Walking Dead. It's nice to see how things went down post Rick & crew. However I can't seem to care about any of the characters.

Quote from: SplatterTrigger on 08/23/2015, 02:12 PMFinished off season 2 of True Detective. Overall I was quite underwhelmed.
I don't know why so many folks are not enjoying the second season of True Detective, but my friends and family feel the same as you.

IMHO, there was only one episode, where ONE SEQUENCE was lame: the sequence where they raided the EYES WIDE SHUT sex party and accomplished certain things (no spoilers).

Personally, this was the only time where the series veered into a totally different vibe (a "Mission Impossible" vibe) that was incongruous with the first two seasons.

It definitely has something to do with personal tastes—I think a lot of people had an easier time getting lost in the "Southern Gothic" elements of the first season, and were disappointed that it was replaced by the grime and dreariness of urban/suburban (Southern?) California.

Anyway, it reminded me of a lot of cities I know in Southern California.
I honestly felt the storyline(s) were too condensed at times. I think if it went say another 2/3 episodes it would have fleshed out a bit more. I loved the cast. I can't compare it to the first season though since I haven't watched it yet.

I watched that video a few days ago. So nostalgic!

True Detective Season 2 first episode. A lot going on for a first episode. I know it's laying the groundwork etc but I felt the episode lacked something. On the other hand Colin Farell's character is very well done.

Very nice! I still have mine. Hopefully they'll go to a good home!

I believe mine was Super Mario 3. I honestly can't remember though. But I do remember saving up for SM3 when I was 10 (1990) and going to Toys R Us to buy it.

This is kinda how I felt about Game of Thrones.  First episode wasn't gripping but after that I was hooked.
I was somewhat biased when it came to Game of Thrones since I read the novels and enjoyed them.

Currently watching Game of Thrones. Also I just finished up the final season of Entourage. I stopped watching the show because seasons 6&7 really went down the tubes for me. But after all these years I figured I would do a quick refresh and at least finish the series. Well the final season sucked as well in my opinion.

Or you can just go back to educating this guy on prices like you did on Facebook before the block came down lol

That's great to hear you helped your friend in need. And you got such a great deal as well in the process. What's even more amazing than all that though is the amount of money you are flipping all that stuff for on Facebook. Such a great friend you are!

I'm sure this will be localized.

Quote from: jeffhlewis on 04/14/2015, 03:35 PMJust watched the Better Call Saul finale on my DVR last night...I feel like it was a bit of an anti-climactic ending to the first season. All in all, I'm really happy they made the series, and I hope that they continue with a season 2, but I also feel like I wouldn't be into the show without its relation to Breaking Bad.

I do love the little fan Easter Eggs they drop in from time to time - like Jimmy saying that he wanted to vacation in Belize.
Agreed.

Damn those are beautiful! I only have some Lunar Silver Star Story ones.

I just saw Gone Girl. That was pretty fucked up.

Good luck getting a copy for a fair price. It's a great game in my opinion. I picked mine up for $175 a couple years ago.

1. Pitfall Atari - first video game I ever played in 1985
2. Legend of Zelda - first and only game I played with my father co-op. He never took an interest in any other game. He actually made strategy guides for it that I handed out in class to the other kids.
3. Contra NES- I would spend hours upon hours playing it.
4. Splatterhouse - the first main reason I had an interest in the Turbografx
5. Chrono Trigger SNES- my brother and I would play separate files but be competive about it.
6. Final Fantasy III/VI - same reason as Chrono Trigger
7. NBA Jam arcade- there was a cab at my local Pizza Hut that the neighborhood kids and I would play on.
8. Tony Hawk 2 Dreamcast- my friends and I played this endlessly in college.
9. Ikaruga GC- I don't really care for this game as a whole now a days. However when I first picked it up for the Game Cube at release I was quite impressed with the black/white mechanic.
10. Bomberman Live Xbox 360- the game that is played ironically in local co-op between my daughter and myself.

Occasionally I'll find a loose huey but that's about it. I live in CT so shops are slim in general.
