Upgrading to the new 2022 2.1 SMF core (years in WIP)! Mobile/Phone support by default, finally! I must port all my custom features and redo the theme however, but worth the trouble! I may still look at XenForo too.

I found the retro-access scart and jpn 21pin cables don't buzz no matter how loud I crank the stereo. SuperGrafx OSSC, Vizio & xrgb3, Samsung.

The component cables (forget their name) do buzz on my crt at LOUD levels.

I have a rev2 SSS3 and other than trying cheap cables first, had a lot of fun using it. I'm not ready to sell my Duo-R just yet.

I'm really enjoying mine. Not playing anything I haven't already played but my lazy ass loves everything at my fingertips.

PAL news

Quote from: neosd;4260136I think the same but there were some guys on Spanish forums insisting about that (to get PAL Turbograf16 working)

We just did some changes to improve the way "in game trigger" works, cause this is something that affects games and may produce issues if enabled on some games.
Then, we noticed Turbograf16 PAL was working fine. It was never our intention to get the PAL Turbografx working at all ...

Glitches as you can see. NeoSD doesn't feel the problems are an easy fix so he won't try.

I bought one for my SuperGrafx but I'll keep my Duo-R for homebrews.

Best of both worlds.

They haven't checked every game. The ones they have tried do.

They don't have a complete cd bin cue set.

You can order again. Not sure if after x amount of transactions it'll block US buyers again.

Quote from: ccovell on December 07, 2017, 07:56:46 PMThis looks really awesome, good engineering.  Too damn expensive, so I'll stick with my CD games.

Once somebody adds a "savestate" button to the surface of the hardware, I'll buy it.  (I have proven that it is possible...)
I don't know if he was aware of "savestate" possibilities. No idea what he researched before starting.

Once people have the unit, I'm sure people will test it's bounds.

It's all good Ryo, despite what Rot thinks I support NeoSD's efforts.

Okay, they unexpectedly exceeded their transaction limits and tomorrow is a holiday in Spain so wait to order. I'll update or someone will when it changes.

I agree. He came through with a decent Neo multi so he's got some kind of track record at least.

If I wasn't using my phone I'd have copy and pasted the whole post.

I'm using a Everdrive and cdrs for the most part. Add in physical copies of homebrew games and I can play pretty much anything.

Spend your money on hardware upgrades!

Who card is up there with pronouncing nes and snes like a word. First time I heard that I laughed at the Game Stop employee. I usually at them anyhow tbh.

Congrats on snagging the Duo-R! I was just playing some Splatterhouse, checking to see if I felt any lag on my UHD (no).

It's been a while but you've got to learn to run and bash things. You hold down whatever button and your guy runs in place building up momentum then you push in the direction you want to go.  Something like that.

The boxes show wear whether it's a wrinkle or bowing of the cardboard box. Asking $130+pp fee shipped in the US only.

Quote from: guest on July 21, 2016, 09:32:39 AMI wouldn't send anything to a commercial company, not when there's so many talented peeps here that have more experience and will likely do a better job, especially if it ends up needing more than just caps.
I hear what you are saying but at the same time I feel bad about sending a system that has roaches in it to a member here.  If anyone wants to take a chance with this system I can pay via PayPal right away.  As you can see in the pics it is very clean inside.  The roach was tiny but it was there.  I figure a week in a sealed Ziploc bag should starve any of them.  To be continued.....
If you let the modder know about the roaches, they can decide on it. Opening it up outside and giving it a good cleaning shouldn't be too much trouble.

EDIT I missed KC is going to do it. Awesome!

Dead cockroach, my buddy owned a used video game store and I've seen him more than once open a console with some inside. Pretty nasty.
#33
As I walk my dog I see so many people strolling around looking at their phones. A lot of car horns blowing too.
#34
No, nothing comes to mind.

The closest was the cd-i for Tetris.
#35
The smell was so bad at 2am my neighbors were shutting windows.

A mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda really works at greatly reducing the odor.
#36
Skunks.

Last night I was letting the dog out before bed and he got sprayed. It took about an hour to get the scent to a tolerable level.

-Major bugfix in the map generation of Ziemja's Canticle which makes all areas finishable
-Correction to the behavior of Impervious
-Cosmetic fixes to Toren Castle, Fawna, and Nemar
-Disc-wide optimization for better performance
-Various fixes in the unlockable minigame
Although I ordered the first run back when, those fixes warrant another purchase!

No.

I've never played a Pokémon game. I did dl a pinball game for the gb but haven't tried it yet.

I picked up a GB Boy and added a GB Everdrive.   Great combo!

Welcome!

There are a lot of options nowadays so read up and ask questions. Most of the answers have been covered but finding them can take time.

There's a few modders who give advice or do the work for a fair fee.

Have fun!

Ghouls and Ghosts

Asteroids

I guess if you made a thread about how research saved you from falling for some bs no one would care.

It was a JVC inside mod job done to X'Eye/Wondermega owners per request.

Victor Japan called it a '32 bit remodeling kit' and it was of course for the the 32x to be used with the console. You could bring in your system, and for ¥5000 (excl. tax) they installed this new lid. This service was available until 2013.
I hadn't seen that before,  thanks for the pics.
