Holy crap, dude. So what you're saying is that those of us who do not speak or read Japanese we should just deal with it? The original work still stands strongly for purists, but people like me in the above category can only benefit by a well done, professional translation/dub. If you take time to research the team behind this project you will see many professional coders and professional voice acting talent.

With everything going on in my life right now, I really need to laugh more to keep my spirits up.  I was perusing Netflix, looking for some Anime I haven't seen before.  Any thoughts on funny Anime?  I like some ridiculousness, but, I can only handle so much.  Like Bo Bobo Bobobo or whatever....just is too much for me.

One-punch Man is quite possibly the funniest anime I've ever seen. My Hero Academia is a very similar yet equally awesome anime. Both are sure to lift your spirit.

Unfortunately, One Punch Man on Netflix seems to be sub only.  They must've removed the dub for some reason.  I did watch a couple of ep's of Gurren Lagann, it seems to have some good humor in it.

I'd just buy the Season 1 DVD. It's worth it. Gurren Lagann is pretty dang good. Not the best, but good.

I have Dragon Half on dvd.  I wish it wasn't so dang short, would've loved an entire series of that!  One Punch Man, that's on Netflix, almost picked it the other night, but when reading the description, I started thinking it was more serious than I had hoped for.  I'll give that a try along with My Hero Academy(I think I saw that on there).  I've never actually watched it, not sure if it's on any streaming service, so I'd have to find it on dvd, & I think it's a lengthy series IIRC?

Both One Punch Man and My Hero Academia are on Hulu. Netflix only has OPM I believe.BUT, only Netflix has the awesome English Dub for OPM. They did a great job. MHA is dubbed on Hulu as well and its dub is just as good if not better. Don't miss out on either in any format. Hands down two of my favorites with loads of laughs and action to be had. They're not dark, joyless and grimy like so many other anime out these days.

Renny Blaster is one I can't understand at all.  Yes, it looks pretty good but it plays Awful.  Does anyone want it for any reason other than "it's expensive"?

The Bad:  music tracks are short and loop too often - in the case of the ending credits, the track ends half way through and leaves you in silence

...that's absolutely hilarious.

Even the Duomazov Bros. didn't have too much good to say about it, though Runinruder tried his hardest if I remember correctly.

I got to play the PAL version in our museum at MGC this last weekend. I'm sold! It has a huge amount of games on it and my only complaint is the controller. It's uncomfortable and I could only play Armalyte for a few seconds before the pain kicked in. One aside; it may have been the LCD TV/PAL frequencies but there was considerable lag which made action games unplayable. Hopefully this and the controller will be rectified in the NTSC release if it even happens.

All this thing IS is a controller. If the controller sucks because it's uncomfortable and all it's actions are delayed then THIS THING SUCKS.

There is a C64 archive on the torrent sites that is nearly 4GB. I'm not exactly sure how that's even possible but that's probably more games than this POS has and there is no lag on my Mac because the (not fake) KB has a wired mode. I'm one click away from a hugely superior experience for free, anyone who hasn't ditched real computers is also there.

I was looking at it from an isolated experience having not heard anything about it other than it was coming out. The controller and lag were two things that I definitely didn't like but was hoping for workarounds/fixes in the US release. I was pretty excited about it otherwise.

A lot of the Mega Man romhacks (and MM9 and 10) that I've tried on the Everdrive really miss the mark in terms of design.  I can rip through any of MM1-8 in no time, but much of the new stuff and hacks rely too much on blindsiding you, or swarming you with enemies, or poor enemy placement, or spikes everywhere.  The original games were tough, but they're totally beatable and don't require much, if any trial and error.  Just reaching the boss room shouldn't be a grueling task.

It makes me kind of nervous for MM11 when it comes out.  I'm hoping the Inticreates people aren't the ones making it, because they don't really "get it" in my opinion.

Wasn't InitiCreates behind MM9? They did a bang up job with that game.

Thanks y'all. It was a good day. I mostly spent it cleaning, which is my favorite pastime aside from game coding. While moving a box to the attic, the sole wooden rung on the ladder broke, sending me to the floor while the box I was pushing up the ladder bounced off of my head and broke all over the place. Good thing it was just a box of VHS tapes and they were all fine, and that I have a thick head. While in the attic, I found an old NES that my brother had left behind. It still worked. Too bad most of the games that were left behind with it are complete crap, but hey... free NES. My mother made dinner for me and my son, and during our conversation, told me that she no longer had sisters because they can go to hell. Also, Blue Bunny sugar-free strawberry ice cream isn't half bad.

I gotta find me some BLUE BUNNY sugar free STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM.

Yeah, you never did like that ScrollToView() function, but I like it, heh. I made it only execute once to please you given your feedback (you being one of the few adults in there versus the "RAWR, this ALWAYS worked on DildoPhile/chat!" type of feedback), but if you back up to the root from another page without hiding, it'll fire off again.

Alternatively, you can click the popup link, this will auto-hide/shutdown the embedded chatbox also, then leave the popup chatbox in the background, and continue off to threads, back up to the root/whatever/etc. with it still staying hidden, etc.

Yeah I figured that out when I was gathering info on my feedback in my last post. 'Tis fine for the most part now. Thanks for putting up with my constant constructive criticism.

If the music in that video is any indication that the whole game sounds like that then no thank you. I recognize some of that music too from older famicom games, though I can't remember their titles at the moment.

That's how I remember playing it too. I spent a ton of money playing it back then because I loved how the car moved (much like the earlier After Burner game). It was pricey, but worth it.

Next time you make a return visit to the windy city, make sure to stop by Galloping Ghost Arcade. They have Gale Racer there.

It's kinda like the difference between Super Mario World 2 and Donkey Kong Country; both are a product of their cart sizes/artistic flair. Some might say the bright, clean graphics aged better than DKC's pre-rendered visuals, but I can't say that DKC is an ugly game. I personally think that pre-rendered look is pretty cool and I still marvel at what Rare did but, like Gate of Thunder, SMW 2 carries the  visual culmination of efforts by Nintendo and produced a truly beautiful game that is timeless.

I think Sapphire's a really cool shewtie with a neat bag of tricks. Definitely the game I pull out to show off my Arcade Card.

Okay here's what happens when I un-check auto-scroll. If I move into a subforum and then back out to the root again with my browser's back button  the screen still snaps up to the embedded chatbox but for some reason the box is empty of text. Plus the audio tick that usually plays doesn't in this instance. On the other hand if I move into a subforum after un-checking auto-scroll and click "Home" or the PCFX logo the screen snaps back to the chatbox and auto-scroll has reactivated itself. Infuriating I tell ya.

Edit: I misunderstood you when you said "minimize" I thought you were referring to the pop-up window option. I figured out what you meant though. If I minimize the embedded chat window it fixes the problem. But sometimes I like having the window open just to keep an eye on you guys!

Are you clicking outside of the typing box so it's not active?  What if you minimize the chat box or turn off auto-scroll?

I'm not using the chat window. No I'm just perusing the forums so in these instances it's when I'm away from the chat. I'll try turning off auto-scroll and see if that helps.

I just played through this game and I saw two sets of titties.

1.)  The restaurant slut, who I assume always takes you to the hotel and blows you.  She ended up a virgin at the end, so I think I lost.

2.)  My sister's tits when she was standing in front of the mirror.  Another set of gimme titties I assume, didn't seem earned.

In summary, I suck at earning titties.

Pia Carrot is used by some nations to instruct/test their young men to successfully procreate out in the real world. So naturally if you fail in the game your real life prospects don't look good at all.

I also got Mega Man 10 (Wii Ware), Space Harrier (Arcade), Pokémon Snap (N64) and Harvest Moon (SNES).

Space Harrier allows for a wide variety of control schemes via D-pad, analog stick and even motion controls using the Wii Nunchuk. Good thing there's a menu option to reverse the Y-axis as well as a button for feeding the machine with credits until you get fed up with the trademark Space Harrier "Aaaaaaaargh!" scream.

M2 did the Wii VC port which explains all the attention to detail.
