If you talk about the TTLs 74F32, 74ALS244 and 74ALS245 in SOP/SOIC packages, any electronics supplier like Mouser, Digikey, etc. can provide you these chips. On my DUO there are Texas Instruments, but other brands have these logic ICs.

R691 marking is 153, so it's a  15k resistor ^^

On my non-modded Coregrafx II C162 is a 470uF/16V capacitor.

Quote from: Keith Courage on 09/29/2017, 09:29 PMI 2nd that. I've had to redo many cap changes done by previous people. Usually things not cleaned up well at all and typically I find a few caps with leads that are bridging over other traces on the board. Sometimes I find some cap leads are not even soldered into place.
I agree. DUO's, Mega CD1 and GameGear are prone to similar problems due to SMT caps, sometimes I must spend a lot of time to remove the previous job and properly clean the PCB

I can do Recap/RGB mod on DUO :

I'm from France, though.

Yep, it is a stereo pot on our dear DUO ^^

Right, on Game Gear the volume pot is a through-hole model.

Hi from France  :D

Right channel sound goes through C671 towards the phone jack, so no C671 = no Right sound.

For the distortion, make sure the PCB is properly cleaned before placing new caps. If distortion remains, maybe the cap leak went under one of the opamps. Don't forget via's continuity, including through hole components. I had a DUO without Left sound until I resoldered the chokes just before AV port.
