Somehow Kid Dracula and Splatterhouse are harder than any of the other games in their series, despite the friendly looks. Or maybe I just suck at those games.

Quote from: Medic_wheat on 05/13/2018, 08:02 PMWhat?!?!Code princess exPlay a ton of 3DS and somehow this flew under my radar. Since the Switch game is actually $5 cheaper than the 3DS, I will have to check it out once released.
Day one buy. I loved the3DS game and an enhanced port with physical copy? Sweet. If they ported more DS/3DS stuff I wouldn't say no.

Quote from: seieienbu on 05/12/2018, 01:53 AMTime Cruise 2 is definitely a weird one to be so high.I'll admit, I bought it years ago because I thought it was the sequel to the TG16 game. Maybe a bunch of people are getting tricked like I did? I didn't pay nearly this much at least.
Quote from: Digi.k on 05/08/2018, 09:07 AMBasically all of the games are Neo Geo shooters I already owned elsewhere and they are not released physically. That's why I guess I didn't consider all the shooters on the system, cause I would pass on these.Quote from: TheClash603 on 05/08/2018, 08:13 AMWhat are the best shooters in Switch? Somehow I have none... any come on a cartridge or all downloaded?https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62430
Quote from: SignOfZeta on 05/10/2018, 09:15 PMMan. How hard is it to get your own damned button layout right? WTF?SNK finally realized most people are derpy when trying to use their ring or pinky fingers on a controller. I am not a fan of the change because it isn't authentic, but four buttons wide was not a great design choice originally.
Quote from: guest on 05/09/2018, 06:55 PMBurnout Paradise rules!! Bought it at $30 the weekend it came out and so happy I did, jamming to Avril Lavigne is peak 2009Would the game play well with a racing wheel? I spent more than I shouldve on a wheel setup and am always looking for more games to play with it. Somehow, a handful of arcade racers just dont feel right with a wheel.

Nicalis and Treasure are bringing the legendary Ikaruga to Nintendo Switch on May 29!
Quote from: schweaty on 05/05/2018, 01:30 AMYou know the original AES stick is clicky, right?Speaking of clicky, I really hope the additional pads are as good as the CD pads were BITD. If they are cheap imitation and don't have the same feel, that would be really disappointing.
Quote from: guest on 04/27/2018, 08:23 AMCan you speak from experience?I have the older 1000 model. When I look at people all I can see is the shit in their assholes, you're a bunch of savages. Without a doubt, one of the most life changing purchases of my life.
Quote from: guest on 04/26/2018, 06:25 PM+1Quote from: dangdang on 04/26/2018, 05:28 PM@DK I think you're showing exactly the kind of qualities that it takes to be a moderator -- which speaks exactly to my only real point in participating in this discussion. When the moderator is no longer mediating the discussion and is choosing a side, whats left? Your words are markedly clearer and more fair, while you still have an opinion of the subject at hand.Um, you said it yourself, he's a moderator not a mediator. His job is only to prevent things from spiraling out of control, not to serve as an impartial referee. Necro's totally entitled to his opinion, and his foul-mouthed way of expressing it. I'd suggest dropping your feud with him, as your job (as a PR person) is to make Polymega look great.
Now, granted, you didn't ask for that video to be posted here, but it got posted. So, your best option isn't to get into a battle over what a moderator's responsibilities are, but instead to say something akin to:
"Hi everyone,
That video was posted to our personal blog so that those interested in following our progress can be kept up to date. We understand the concerns that we came out of the PR gate too early and to fast. We also understand everyone's cynicism. Seeing debacles like the Retron 5 stealing emulator code, and the fraudulent creations by the RetroVGS/ColecoChameleon left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. We hope, in the coming months, as we make more progress, we will be able to overcome this cynicism by providing real high quality demos. Those who are interested can continue to follow us at *address*. Those who are skeptical, we hope that we will change your mind when the time is right and we have a product ready. In the mean time, we appreciate your patience, and look forward to surprising you with our wonderful product. I personally believe everyone will love it.
Thank you, from everyone involved in the PolyMega Team."
The problem is, you haven't done that, and continue to not do that. Instead, you debate the merits of a moderator having an opinion.
Quote from: guest on 04/25/2018, 02:28 PMI beat the game and found all the hidden spaces by myself pretty easily and I'm not the best gamer. I apparently underappreciate my skills. Absolutely loved playing through Splash Lake... but not sure if I ever need to play again.Quote from: geise on 04/25/2018, 01:22 PMLOL! So far I'm the only one that voted Splash Lake.Splash Lake is a goody, especially with a friend. Some of the later maps are almost impossible by yourself.
Quote from: seieienbu on 04/25/2018, 03:27 PMI have never played with friends for more than a few moments, they all suck and die immediately. I've mostly played on my own.Quote from: TheClash603 on 04/25/2018, 08:14 AMVoted for Dungeon Explorer, because I am pretty sure the game sucks and it is overrated by everyone. Maybe if I play it for the fifth time I'll finally get on board with the hype.Surprising! Have you tried playing it with a group of friends?
Quote from: guest on 04/23/2018, 10:53 AMI have eaten at five star restaurants in many of the food capitals of the world, but I legitimately prefer McDonalds to these places. McDonald's food is delicious and the value proposition is incredible. It's not good for you, but everyone knows that.Quote from: TheClash603 on 04/23/2018, 07:45 AMExcept yourself, for eating at McDonalds....Quote from: esteban on 04/22/2018, 05:21 PMI hate when I drive by a diner lusting for French fries, turn around, only to realize the diner is closed early in Sundays. Then you remember that McDonalds will never let you down, and you no longer despise a thing.
I can't really talk though, I just ate burritos this morning from there.
Quote from: JoshTurboTrollX-16 on 04/23/2018, 02:27 PMI've always been kind of curious to get one of those memory units, but I'm unsure if I'd ever fill the onboard save memory.I bought a memory unit and it either doesn't work or I am too dumb to use it. It doesn't seem like I have filled up the space built-in to the system though, so perhaps the memory unit isn't very necessary.
How much save data can you save on a PC-FX?

Quote from: zetastrike on 04/21/2018, 02:30 PMI'm holding out in hope of a full size model with a functional keyboard. I know it's just an emulator, but I do like self contained systems that do nothing else but play games. The reviews of the mini are kind of off-putting. Among other things, I'd like to be able to use a real Competition Pro through a USB adapter. I appreciate that they advocate loading your own roms, which is awfully nice of them. This had me thinking, why the mini craze? It would be a lot more fun to have a MEGA system. Imagine a NES that is 4x the size of the original, complete with giant NES cart that put the Neo Geo to shame. Obviously it would be a novelty, but I would pick up a C64 MEGA, Sega MEGA, or whatever MEGA system is available.
Quote from: ParanoiaDragon on 04/20/2018, 02:55 AMSweet, SNK is releasing a revision of the Vectrex!!!In!
Quote from: esteban on 04/19/2018, 03:49 PMWhen I bought my AES, Eightman was one of the first games I picked up. This game was at a Super Saver Cinema near me and I loved it in the arcade. Years later when I saw people had a negative opinion of the game online, I was absolutely shocked.Quote from: guest on 04/19/2018, 12:57 PM"Mahjong Kyou Retsuden II" and "Eightman Forever" confirmed as launch titles.I wouldn't mind 8man, so I'd be stoked!
Of course, you are mocking my tastes!

Quote from: SuperDeadite on 04/18/2018, 08:19 PMVajra 2 is still affordable in Japan. It's not cheap, but compared to the big boys like TG and RB, its a fraction of the cost. And one of the best exclusives on the system really. You mean RP.
Paolo is the most annoying game ever made. The videos are so delightfully cheesy that I love the game anyway, but trying to play this game will have you punching holes in the wall.
