Digging into the Dreamcast shmups again. And yes I have the Gigawings, those never left, heh.

Criterion was running a flash sale at their webstore and everything was 50% list. I am now caught up on their BD releases of Japanese movies I really wanted to own. There are like 2-3 that I would try if I got them on an Amazon Warehouse deal for like $13 or something but otherwise not even at sale prices. Of course they will inevitably get more that I want out on BD but it's nice to be caught up. Gonna watch Ikiru later tonight.

When I was in college there were a few Japanese exchange students that all used Macs.  I asked one about it one day and she told me that she hated Microsoft and most Japanese people were the same.  She didn't say that she hated windows Windows or Microsoft computers or anything, she said specifically that she hated Microsoft.  She said that Macs had better support for Japanese language.  At the same time I recall a couple of other Japanese students only using Microsoft Messenger for sending instant messages so it couldn't have been that universal.

I think she was just a japanese version of the common Apple fanboy

Reminds me of Linux and GNU people, which always go out of their way to tell you that Micro$$$oft is evil and Windows sux!

It's the clear see through Nt. It is up stairs. To lazy to go up but here is a box.

If I had know. That 009 is getting a Blu-ray compete release I'd have skipped out on. Is. Also with he man if I had known a compete collection is avilable for like $20 I'd have skipped this. But I do like me some flea markets.  Also same with gunbuster. I should just get the blue ray copy.



Totally missed out on hat latest vita release. Looks like wensday my skull girls is shipping. Yeah. Me.

If you have the other VHS tapes for Gunbuster as well I'd be interested if you are looking to get the BD instead.

Another way to play CD games on the go is to use a flashcart for the DS. I bought a cheapie $10 flashcart for my DS Lite and was surprised to find it came with a Turbografx emulator that played ISOs!

You get 50 free listings a month, Final fees are 10% or 8% if you get Top-Rated.  There's no reason to give eBay anymore than you need too...

I see.  I am not a top seller unfortunately.  You need to sell over 100 items per year to qualify as well as hit other marks.  I don't sell that much.  It certainly pays to be a top seller I see.  Keep up the great work.

Yeah those Cube controllers look like they have seen way better days. Yuck.

Here is a picture of the PS2 and games. System as mentioned is being returned since it only reads CD games. Games all tested out completely fine on my PC though, so I'm keeping them and waiting for another system from Japan. Getting a fat this time, since I've had better luck with those plus I have all US fats if I needed to end up replacing the lens or something like that.

Also holy shit this went downhill fast. I have an XBR800 and 960 and they are both very good tvs but I would not use them for content like PS4 or blu rays.

RGB looks good on these. Colour is excellent. It's not PVM/BVM quality by any means but these are also much easier to find (and usually free).

Not much in the way of pick ups, just a really old PC CRT Monitor.

I'm like one of those people that sees a stray animal on the street and wants to give it a home. 

If I see one of these old monitors just get thrown away, I can't help but take a closer look.

So this old CRT only accepts VGA. I had to make a plan to hook up an old console system to it.
I went the S-Video to VGA route for the visuals, and a bit of a convoluted way to get the audio out of a pair of old Fujitsu Siemens speakers.

You are among friends here, lol. I have an old Daewoo CRT that I grabbed for free awhile back. VGA and BNC connectors, a couple of the resolutions don't really work anymore but she runs.

Got my half of a trade today. Highlights would be Trails of Cold Steel and Luigi's Mansion. Already played a bit of Cold Steel, it's pretty good!

Got a big Sega lot today. I'll have to dig out some working systems to test games. Once it's tested, I'll be selling the excess on here. Hope you guys like Saturn stuff!

I do believe I actually had this controller back in the '90s, but it crapped out and I ended up replacing it with the 3D pad.

I still really need to get a 3D controller. I've had the worst damn luck with that thing, buying a few that all ended up not working and had to be returned.

The Saturn has a couple of decent third party pads that have turbo switches. They usually run $10 or less even on Ebay.

This one is one I've used lately.



When I want turbo switches for Genesis, I have to go third party as well of course.
