I've never owned it, but I do love the comfy music and atmosphere!

That part should be set, it's mentioned in every email subject line. I just hope the tech team will still be working with the same information they used when making the (successful) check disc. Also hope they're able to get a start on this right away so we don't have to wait around.
We are all praying it goes well for you guys
Quote from: hizaygizirlz on 08/08/2012, 06:17 PMSo if all goes well we are playing this in September?Yes, if not sooner. It will take 10 business days to produce and 2 - 4 days to ship. At this point it depends on how soon Nationwide Disc starts production.
Quote from: guest on 08/08/2012, 05:38 PMExpect 1000 copies of Insanity on your doorstop in ten days!LOL god I hope not!
Quote from: shubibiman on 08/05/2012, 02:31 PMWho is number one?I don't know his username on here, but his first name starts with a D and last name begins with an A.
Quote from: PCEngineHell on 08/04/2012, 10:55 PMCrap, you know there used to be this one arcade stick that was wood based and built by Pelican. I know they made it for Xbox and Ps2 both or something. I used to buy them and gut it and use it for Supergun stuff. The build was great if you dont mind using american style sticks instead of the Japanese ball tops.Yeah those Pelican sticks are really nice after you swap the buttons out with some happs ones. The fact that they're universal makes them all the better too.
Quote from: guest on 08/03/2012, 07:04 PM"finasco" has been officially added to my vocabulary. Unfortunately, there will be many opportunties to use it. :/Coooool, an unintentional buzz word! I knew that looked wrong when I typed it, but now that you mention it I kinda like the sound of it!
Quote from: OldRover on 07/25/2012, 05:34 PMMy wife was able to bypass their trained monkeys in customer service and go straight to the techs, who all had a good laugh at some of the bullshit Brian has told Keranu. A new stamper will be produced on Friday, and the check disc will be sent out in about a week. Keranu should have it sometime in early August. They cited one minor index issue still remains with the existing master, and I'm going to try to get more specific details on that so it can be ironed out in case... plus, it may help to refine TheOldMan's cuesheet utility.Wow I don't know how your wife was able to talk to the tech team, Brian seemed to avoid the idea completely whenever I asked if I could get in touch with them. Must be that spicy Latin blood in your wife's DNA! Good thing she called now because I'm going to be out of town this week and wouldn't be able to call on Friday.
Quote from: SignOfZeta on 07/24/2012, 07:46 PMYeah, its baffling that you wouldn't be talking on the phone about this. It's also kind of crazy that they "can't test" the game because they don't have the hardware. Just loan the guys a Duo or at least a copy of Magic Engine. They are idiots, certainly, but you need to understand that you are putting them in a hard situation when you ask them to print a disc in an obsolete format that their software (and everyone else's) doesnt support, they've never heard of, have no specs for, and can't even test. They are flying blind and certainly regret taking on this PITA project at least as much as you regret sending it to them.I thought about the idea of getting them to use an emulator, but I think it would be too much for them to figure out, nor would they be interested in fiddling around with unfamiliar hardware from three decades ago. But this is what the checkdisc is for anyways so we can make sure everything's working properly before approving a batch of 500 discs.
Quote from: PikachuWarrior on 07/22/2012, 07:19 PMI got put off from the game, but I'll come back to it in a few months. Usually beat a hard part in the game when you least expect it, etc.Have you tried looking up YouTube videos? I'm sure there's one out there that you can study for help. Just know that it's very possible to beat, you'll get the hang of it eventually.
Quote from: ElSeven on 07/20/2012, 02:25 AMI know! If I wasn't using my bike so much this summer, I would've had my car fixed much sooner.![]()
and Keranu, if you don't come next year... I'm comin' over to yer house and reclaiming the PC-FX I sold you!

Quote from: Bernie on 07/21/2012, 04:10 PMUmm, hell yes.lmao this post says it all!
Quote from: ParanoiaDragon on 07/21/2012, 05:47 PMWell, to keep us interested & hold us over till we get to see some video's or hear music, here's something I found on youtube!Man, this guy's got all kinds of stuff, even Soldier Blade & JJ & Jeff!!Thanks for posting, that JJ & Jeff boss rendition was awesome!! About what I'd expect if JJ & Jeff were to have ever become a CD game in a parallel universe.
Quote from: guest on 07/21/2012, 11:59 AMAny response from the presser on why they sent you the entirely wrong project?Nope
Quote from: esteban on 07/20/2012, 05:25 PMI thought the concept of freezing enemies to use as delicate, temporary platforms was both novel and very fun! Especially the ones where you have to slide off, causing the character's body to stretch just enough to cover the gap between ledges.Quote from: Keranu on 07/20/2012, 04:24 PMAm I crazy for thinking this level was the funnest in the game? After you figure stuff out, and then execute the platforming, then, yes, the sense of accomplishment is sublime.
I think it makes the Turbo version of Valis III superior to all others.
Quote from: PikachuWarrior on 07/20/2012, 12:55 PMFirst game in a long while where I would shout obscenities and have the urge to throw the controllerI've been trying to beat Monster Lair lately and I've come very close to throwing my Turbo pad into the television set! Close to beating it now!
Quote from: PCEngineHell on 07/18/2012, 09:17 PMJust goes to show you that a already difficult task being handled by what seems to be incompetent people at a pressing facility, who have no actual means to test the product on real hardware anyway before shipping, is going to be near impossible to get finished successfully. One thing that bothers me about this mishap is they could've at least tested the audio tracks to see if they match the master's. Then again, we have pressured them before that this isn't supposed to be treated as a audio CD. Still, a doofus mistake to stamp the wrong game, lol.
Quote from: guest on 07/18/2012, 08:21 PMWhat's the buzz sound issue? One of the initial problems Nationwide had with our masters was a short buzz sound that occurred from playing the data track in a CD player. Insanity has a very similar buzz sound when booted up, though coincidentally it had nothing to do with the data track.
Quote from: vestcuntAs far as the name-calling, I understand the frustration, but it seems both parties have made errors and two pages of outrage every time there's a holdup doesn't put anyone in a good mindset when the project calls for patience, troubleshooting, and clear communication.I've always been friendly and patient with Brian in our communication and will continue to do so. But this latest incident is a big, goofy fuck up on their part.
Quote from: guest on 07/15/2012, 02:16 PM...let alone do the music justice the way that only the SNES can?LOL!
