We have paid downloads on the Wii, because it is faster for a person, like me or you to email our product to Nintendo's download system ( or however that works ). You get my drift??? You do not have to leave your home to make money, and that is why people are doing that.

People are purchaing videogames as downloads because they are too damn lazy, to go outside and buy something in person. Also people are just fed up with dealing with people ( Clerks), at the store. Along with making excuses about gas prices. Imagine a person living in the suburbs, who is just too damn tired to drive down to the local game store, so they would download a videogame.

By intergrating people will have something to buy, and it will bring out fans like you and me back to the stores. We could play NES games, with our children, like it should be.

The idea you are talking about is the excuse ( you know excuse ), why Nintendo said they switched to cd. Then when everybody was using CD, the prices of manifacturing a CD droped.
To manifacture carts do not cost a lot of money, if you go to China ( as Nintendo and even Apple does today ). So that should not be a problem.

I am telling you, if all Media converted to electronically stored information, they we are damaging our freedoms and way of life. Anything without a body is not real because you can't resell the product, because now you can make copies of it. The technology for that does not exsist because it is stupid. AKA don't copy that floppy ( remember that motto ? ). Nobody will respect it at all. You think it is not affecting you but it is on a nation wide scale, because your purcahing power is a vote, that decides the faith of humanity.

Of course two devils will make the punch line, the point I was getting at, is that modern
Platform games are really Action RPG. However their is nothing RPG about them at all. It sloves the greatest question of all. Is Zelda an RPG or Advanture game?

Zelda is a J-rpg and a j-rpg is an Action/Adventure RPG, Go back to your Falcom notes.
Games like Dragon Slayer, and Sorceran carved paved the way for modern action/adventure games. The same could be said about Metal Gear as well.

However people take Metal Gear the wrong way. They think it is an Covert Op, or Action game,
War, or whatever splineter cell is. When Metal Gear is really an J-RPG. Something that is unique and from Japan, that help mold how the common action game is.

Think about it like this. Ever played a comic adventure? About an RPG? How about an Beat-em-up. Put em all together and you get Kirby, Mario, and you are able to use a small amount of processing power.

Lets take a game like "Rise Of the Dragon". which is clearly a Comic Adventure like "Snatcher"
You have sequences in the game where you shoot, move around on a 2d plain, as well as interact with people. In the west we call it point and click games.

Because people will be encouraged to make videogames for the previous systems allowing
more innovative products to be made for the SNES, NES, N64 etc. Think about it like this,
you now have the power to  release "Earthbound 3" on the N64 in cart format with the extra chipset needed to run the game but in one cart, and distubute it to users, across the globe.
However their is a negative impact would of course, Like what happend to people who made X-box games.

Like right now, we have Mysterous Song, being released, along with Insanity. You see the problem now?

Imagine having the power to play an MSX in a PS3 and just renaming it MSX4. Imagine if the Dreamcast came back and merdged with the PC engine, and called it the Dream Engine. That is the kind of power we are cooking with.

Imagine an NES being re-released but their was a cd rom drive below the cart slot.

We would be making a product for everybody, old and young. The only thing that would get collected would
be computer games, and that is merly ordering the right parts, Imagine building a super NEC computer gameing
system, with cassette loaders, floppys, and FM and midi sound. That would balance the equation or expression.

That is how I define, the recent games, since the post Dreamcast/PS2 days. After that it was downhill from their.
If videogaems were standard, then they would have intergrated the original consoles into newer, consoles. Like lets take the WiiU, We all know if Nintendo installed a cart slot for NES games people would buy them, Instead they just did the same exact thing and added a tingle controller, AKA VMU. They destoryed our world and people just pretend that it never happened at all.

Think about how stupid things are now. The Sega Saturn is in the Videogame museum, with Panzer Dragon, meanwhile Visual C++ will not compile exe files after 2005, edition. I can't even make an html file on my
windows 7 anymore. They gave our entire generation the middle finger, and we are just going to be happy campers, and support them?

An action game is just a cheap word for a J-RPG. Every game before Falcom was Mario Bros.

A J-rpg is what I am calling an action game, because it was RPG ( the DAD board games ) made into Action
games. All action games, not including a few were all J-rpg types. If not then they were hybrids like Splatterhouse,
Shinobi, or score attack games.

The difference is the abiltiy to return back to the begining of the game, or have a wide variety of actions as well.
Free movement, and free feeling.

Many people mistake J-RPG for turn-based RPG.

The first turn-based RPG games were nationwide,  and was all based off DAD board games.
Like Wizardry for example.  Other games were online games, like Dragon battlers, and a 3d monster
game where you could make and download monsters to fight people online in 3d.

Final Fantasy made popular because the action sequences would play out, instead of being directed
at the player in a FPS. Far East Of Eden made a difference as well as Gain Ground type games.
The same could be said for Shin Mega Tensi.

Their is not such thing as a J-rpg turned based rpg invention, or a FPS rpg J-rpg.
All of these rpgs are just different in presentation, and are all turn based games.

In general games like Kirby, Castlevania, Mario, Conker, Sonic, Boink, Wonder Boy, Sword of Beserker, Jetforce Gemini, Megaman Legends, Beyond Godd and Evil, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, and Rayman all fall under the j-rpg spell. As well as any other game, even beat-em-ups.

Turn-based games are just tbg made by Japanese, or whichever nation they come from.

Super Mario World or Sonic 2 on PCE,

That is not fair, Super Mario World was an action game like Popful Mail. You can't compare that to Boink, on the PCE.
If we did then we would have to imagine if Boink had a world map, like Mario World. Boink also had only five sets of games. 1-4 and Roboboink.

All Sonic games were ever about was looking cool and that is about it. Sega made him the most claimest looking color ever, and the whole idea was save the rainforest. You can't beat that, even with Mario. Mario only survived because of the fanbase, and green pipes. Sonic was the most biggest gimmick ever made.

I would say up till the upside down cross I am doing something wrong, because
I remember something differnt happening after the darkness becomes light?

Is it, from killing a specific enemy, like the crushed baby head, or the laughing girl with skull?

Is it taking a certain path in the game itself?

Do I have to not kill the beast, and find another way?

Is it a score attack I have to maintain or, not use any continues?

The PCE was great to get into, but everybody wanted to play Mario and Sonic. It was the kiddies they were gunning for. The PCE is basically no differtn then the X-box. You had a fan of NEC/Microsoft fans and that sums it up. The TG16 was a pain because it looks like an Atari on steriods, even the controller ports are buffed out. Does that make any sense at all? Also everybody was doing the Mario.

NEC vs Sony doesn't even make sense. lol. esp from a manufacturer pricepoint, Sony just didn't have the user base back then.

NEC and Sony ( along with Hatchi and their waterfall font ), are Japans debut electronic companies. NEC is the biggest as of now, I believe. Sony made the MSX computers, the sound chip in the snes, as well. Nintendo also viewed them as a competitor back the 1980's. While NEC did invest into the HudsonSoft they also made televisions, computes, and various parts.

1. Platformer is just the western word for J-rpg becuase they can't just say action, game.
Western videogames had no idea, all we had in the west was tron and Atari before Super Mario Brothers.

2. Bonk is what is called a Dinosaur game. Dinosaur game genre, took place in a bushy world,
with a prehistoric character, and would proceed in a j-rpg ( Adventure island/Wonder boy ) fashion. What is so auwsome about that game is their are sooo many things to interact with
in the world itself, and the funny animations. If you ever played Doramon, or other games like this, you will understand.

3. Another way to look at this is a starter game, like Kirby. Kirby was made for young kids, who never played a videogame before, and was meant for people to have something to enjoy, at the same time. Boink does just that, a great game to play for a beginer.

Boink is a great series, NEC just screwed up the PCE by making the DUO series, and then the
Super Grafx. Everybody in the west, was high on NES.

Why no RPG?

RPG games have been restricted to lesser systems. Also RPG was also tricky because you wanted to make a great RPG and not just another failure, that was time consuming. People would walk into offices at one time, and suggest idea for RPG and it would get made.

The PCE was made to animate graphics, with full speech. Something that RPGs did not do
usually. The same could be said for the Genesis as well. The NEC-PC series is where the RPGs were at, if not then it was the MSX or NES. Of course people wanted to get that market of children, so they made RPG for the SNES, since it made more colors, and had more freedom then the Mega Drive. Most RPG on the Genesis was SEGA's own series.

The flat fact is that an RPG was for lesser game systems, where tons of kiddies were ready to play. The PCE was a Computer gamer fanboy dream. Most children were playing the SNES, over the PCE. That is why their are soooo many RPG games on the SNES system.

The SNES had

SONY sound
Mode 7 effects,
was not CD, which means no read error, ( as most players were not handy with CD at the time )

Also the creators of the PCE Hu-games were not thinking in terms of the SNES or animated graphics, they were thinking in terms of the NES and NEC PC. So that was a completely differnt market.

During the 1990's NEC-PC failed to appease fans, and thus the attention was towards
the SNES.

Are all the game exact game. They had over three to four years to work on one game.

Sonic CD had three differnt teams ( one for the future, past, and present stages ) , including teams for the animations intros, and another team for the development for the Direct Sound, Video ( Sonic CD was part of the creation of Direct X ).


Secret Of Mana wented through three transformations, and Squaresoft basically just remade or retold the story of Final Fantasy, in almost ever RPG game they ever made. Square even reuses various enemies for the Playstation,
and even today. Secret originally was a GBA, game. SOMII, was Square trying to revamp the original game into it's own series, and three was that perfected.

Personally I say SOMII was the worst game in the series, while fun and playfull, it was still in the building blocks, while the third and first game were the same exact game but divided the story into three senarios, reintroducing and using the oriignal characters from the first and second game.

The PCE was up against Arcade, NES, Megadrive, and SNES games. It was a 2d console, that audience was Japanese mostly. It was already killed in the USA from the over usage of Halloween, and rainbow games.
It was like they wanted the game system to die. Only a few games in the west was fun. Also without creative support for which the west barely had any on game systems, the PCE/Turbo was a dying fish. it's saving grace
was the import scene, and thank god the CD had no region cock blocking.

For years a reasonabl peach, yellows, persian, orange, pink, red or light brownish red, Keep in mind that all skin color is just a differnt shade of brown.

Their is nothing wrong with that, but then what about those more colorful people?

When I was in college and took an intro animation history class,
we saw a 1950's cartoon. One woman who has an orange complextion,
and  was most likely of African decendancy, said " is that sappose to be a black person or what". You see when an artist makes something, they are not thinking in terms of races, but they are thinking in terms of color, and it is not an mistake, at all.

Nowadays, people ( young adults  ) have no visual exprience towards animation at all, like the way we did with VHS, Beta, or etc media or pop-culture. They can only reference to the computer, ( which is not the best kind of visual exprience, at all ).

Another example is the camera angles used. In the textbook filming and teather is not a universal subject. People from differnt parts of the world are differnt sizes and they have differnt ideas about imagery and framing.

Japanese girl in loli/popstar/ type fashion, and somebody was video tapping her with a big home video camera ( not the crappy mini cameras , the big one with VHS, or something ), more recent.

What would be messed up, if an undercover officer tried to give them a ticket for filming without an license. Also the violence, might force an officer to pull out their gun, and might actually fire.

Another problem is what people do when they see a fight. In real life they do three things now. Run to the fight like if it is the greatest thing in the world, call the police, or start filming. Ironically nobody tries to break up a fight.

This person passed away last mothers day. His mother had died of cancer, and around 2003/4 ( cancer in the nose ( it was a rare form of cancer ))). He himself, woke up in the morning, went back to bed, and never woke up again. Their was nothing wrong with him,


He and me are the same age as well. We would play fight, bath together, sleep in the same bed. He was Genesis and, I was Super Nintendo. He was my only connection to my mothers side of the family. Everybody else in my family are still distant from me. He even introduced me into, Japanese animation, while it was still on VHS tapes with that wondeful yellow subs.

My father had brought me the NES, but I was into legos, and when my family had seperated, my mother had moved back to where she lived. Their I met my cousin,
where we played together, with toys for the first time, and jumped on his mothers bed. Then he had Super Mario Brothers, and duckhunt. a thing that made no sense to me at all, until I was playing with him. Before him was this pac-man and space arcade that one my uncles had purchased.

Before his premuture passing. He had many jobs, He was a sports teacher, a graduate in product management, a football player for college, and even served
with army reserves. uhmmmm what I understand, is that he had moved out of his sisters house, to live by himself, and was dating this girl. He spent alot of money on her, and when he was out of a job, she dumpt him, and when he called her, a person threathen to kill him. He tried to live with his father, but they did not get along, and
carried him to the middle of nowhere, with all of his things. So he was struggling trying to find a job, recently. I have not talk to him since four years a go. My mother saw him outside last, and he looked sad. He even wented to Hati, to help rebuild their houses.

Before my dealing with the MIB, this was the only thing I was thinking about, for a very very long time. Him and me was like Bill and Ted, or Kidrock and JC, or even Jake and Silent Bob, Mario and Luigi. It was one of the few people I had in this world, that I could talk to, and make sense out of, but now ........

The flatfact, is this was the worst, of the worst thing that could happen to me, and my family this year. He never had no children at all, and spent his earnings, and inhetance on one woman, who dumped him for a ten ton gorrilla, even after he had taken her to island vacation, and backstage parties. He had everything to live for, and their is no findings that anything had wronged him. We all just assume that he had missed his mother.

That was the story of that person, who introduced videogames to me. Without him, I would probably never ever make heads or tails out of a game controller.

I am going to ignore that, because that is BS ( not to offend ). People wore colorful clothing back then because that is how things were, all the way from the roaring twnenties at least. After the lost era, we had fun cars, fun girls, and fun songs. Thanks the 1960's everybody was having a fun sunshine time ( in consideration of the summer of love ), and the world was finall becoming unionized. In fact the whole idea of comunism is what help bring people in the world together. Sometime during the 1970's a famouse actor walked down the red carpet wearing nothing but, a shirt.
That brings us to the 1980's "We are the children".

The 1980's was specail because they ( the MIB ) was trying to washing away all of that peace garbage. It was the restoration of the world. At the same time it was called the commercial 80's, because people did not feel the change at all. Then their was the born again Christians and the Computer people. The 1970's art boom, extended into the 1980's, along with graphic design ( which was a young feild of
work ), along with Graphic Novels ( the enemy of the comic book order ). Then when gangs were also another invisible threath, that replaced communism.

The point being is the 1980's tried to sweep everything under the rug, that occured
in the 1950's. Their was nothing neon about the 1980's. It was all neon, even since the 1930's. I mean, they just took the original game, and make it take place during the night. Hell seriously, it looks more 1990's then 1980's. If they wanted to make 1980's right. they would have a plain old street, trying to look good. It is like right now, how they are making cut backs to my city.

The game is fine the graphics are outstanding. Yes i would of liked 2d but 2.5d is good enough for me. The music is  outstanding. Levels look great and the addition of bonus ones is great. The new character looks are cool.

Of course it all looks, good, but if we compared the original to this game, which one would stand out more? That is my problem. They already remade TNMNTs. Now this

If you want to keep it old school just enable the mix tapes that only give you original dd moves.

I do not want it to stay old school. I want them to make a new game entirely, from the IVth game. Anything or something. Billy and Jimmy do something else. Not just rerelease the same game, and then call it something new.

Nevermind it is just my, mindset. Their are tons of versions of Castlevania, and Super Mario brothers. but never tons of versions beat em up games. I have to keep out of that Stan Mindset, without my computer stuff, that I accumilated, I feel partically empty.

This game is garbage, The character models are in 3d, or over pre-rendered, etc. The whole neon thing is over dones, as that belongs to the 1950's not the 1980's. 1950 was retro in the 80's and the lighting looks too sureal, and too Las Vegas. Honest to gosh, the 1980's in terms of street gangs, had nothing to do with neon-signs.

I think Wayfowards Idea department just reviewed all the games, saw SUper Double Dragon IV,
and decided to model the game after that one. Corner stores, sex shops, arcades, etc this game is so gimmicky. Also I do not like the lifebars being so god damn bright, while the game color is extremly dark colored.

They should have just made an entire new game all together, instead of rehash the original game. Double Dragon on the GBA is good enough remake, also the Milf poison over the "loli"
poison from Alpha sucks.

They ( especially western companies ) rehash everything, I bet they also did to TNMNT, as well, but they revamped them to match the current series, Turned April from a normal supportive character, into a Border Line Lesiban, "If you Giant Mutants can fight big monsters, I can do it too, I take on the shredders daughter, I am equal"

Wayfoward also did Bionic Commando on the gbc, if I am not mistaken. It was a complete fail, because it lacked originalism, of the GB game, and the final boss was just you
dodging a transformation after form, and then held two guns up like Lara Croft.

Oh great double dragon revamp, not an original game, with an original story, but some sorta
remake of the original, with an extra themed title.

Pocket monster card game was already made digital, into a GBC game. Also their is a couple of card series, in China that features a scanning code on it. I seriously do not care at all anymore.

My television set, using composite. Even the RF is extremly clear.
Composite is the standard, and depending on your television, you can have good and bad composite, along with RF display. When I look at the pixel on screen I do not see a shadow, or glow. You have to look really close to notice the difference. This is part of the bleed of televisions, and was one of the features that allowed small images, to display clearly. My television does have scalelines.
You don't notice them unless you get really close.


I have two other televisions, around the place, and one jerks in composite mode, and another has a sorta blurr ( that set also feature RGB ), the other one is also kinda blurry.
I am guessing the composite is sorta blurry because of the RGB built inside of it.

About every single windows after 98...........They all suck.

NT was for the office and 98 was for people like us, playing videogemes.
Then XP rolled on in and suddenly we get Blu-ray, HD, and a whole bunch of crap that
belongs to UNIX. Now windows Deer park, ( Vista, 7, 8 ), all are just being made to deal with
Mac OsX users. Can anybody ask, why bother? 

Oh I know why, because somebody on this board is an secretary, college student, or a programmer, and somehow they got suckered into buying crap software. I imagine the confused parent running in circles over buying an entirely new computer just to use MSOffice2040.
The programmer, who is like "Ok watch out, lets get ready for a brand new world".
Then of course their is the person who do not know jack about computers and feels the need
to get the latest and greatest.

If the N64 release was held back for a year, we would probably have  Starfox 2 in all of our homes. If Mafiasoft had just fix the 98 memory and 4gig problem, we would have the perfect OS, with no problems.

THe PS2, eye toy can be used as a PC computer camera, and somebody made drivers for it. Digital camera can work but you need to keep the camera still or pan slow, because those can suck. Their are tons of dirt cheap firewire cameras out their. Many with proffessional high grade features.

The problem with recording a television, is the scanning of the lines. For recording from the console itself, you need a tuner card, many cheap ones can  connect to USB, as well as S-video.
Composite is great, for online stuff, so don't worry.
