phhhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooooockkkkkkkkkk Ebayyy

They just took down my listing because I spilled the beans on how much I make after selling them something.
They said it was a listing violation but it was because I mentioned MO ( money order ) in the item discription.

The listing violation excuse was M9999 or something. Where I did not post a product review.

Seriously this is getting stupid, because I have an item up with no catolog information and these bastards just do not want me to list Money Order as a paying option.

I had over ten warnings about lising without a description, and some bas just decided to cancel my listing because that is how they get their rocks off. Right?

No money order in description, only paypal.

Fighting Street / Re: Gamestop = FAIL

Funcoland staff got the shaft, and was duh fired. Gamestop ir revolving door of managers, and sales associates. They are nothing like funcoland. Gamestop sells games because everybody thinks they are too cool for toys r us. No!!! because the videogame ratings came along, when people wanted to make games that was like Rated-R films, on the note.

Stop buying from gamestop. Their is nothing of value in that store.
#804
Okay when you say freeze, I am going think loading. You can even take the game disc out while a game is playing because all the game data ( not including cd audio ) has been loaded into the memory.

QuoteI don't want people to endlessly scrub their lenses
I

thought about that, I would assume using something for a came from a photograph museum to clean the lens. Just a little swip. That is one of things I know that would fook up my system even more.
The person who decided Scrubbing [-X a CD lens. What is that horrid
thing steel wool?

Quotebuy multiple copies of a game
Well that is your own choice.

QuoteThe PCE isn't as capable of recovering from a bad read as newer machines are.
Depends on the programmer. Newer machines have more powerful lasers, built inside them, and some games are programmed predicting the delayed load time. Some PCP games like ( the worlds most dissapointing sequel, ( to a game that could have lasted longer then Final Fantasy, Mario ( but instead they turned into a commercial nightmare  )  ) on the face of most planets ) that game will restart the entire song once the game, is paused or will even warn the player to reload the disc. Other games like Choki Anki or Popful will just keep reading, ignoring errors, and whatever plays will play, hey look it is blockies. Steam hearts for example will just zoom pass dialouge and gives you an error screen instead.

Other games you will just have to guess
#806
Their are many things that you describe that could give problems.
The laser is not as powerful, so dust, or whatever will affect it, dust enters the PCE at any moment it is open. I don't know about a DUO system. My Saturn, and PSX, seems to take in dust no matter what. I don't know about the SEGA-CD because I haven't run anything on it for long periods of time. Also a brand new disc, like new, new game might not work directly out of the box. I know that sounds insane but it happens to me.
#807
If a game does not load that is because your lens or game disc might be dirty ( most likely the disc ). The game is most likley searching for data, and will not give up until it finds that data. The data could be anything. It loads the game data first then goes for the CD audio, because it is unable to load data while CD audio is playing.

If this occurs alot, two things could be wrong. Something is not clean, the system has been on ( meaning power wise ) and needs to be turned off breifly. Or you have been using the CD too much, and if it was a Playstation would have caught fire already.
#808
Okay I updated the original post. I am not showing off anything at all. That is between me and the programmer intent.
#809
Seriously

font C is the same font used in every translated Square RPG

A and B look simular. What about the original Lufia font??
#810
Your just being like that because you can code without any problems. I need somebody who is commited. Showing coding of any sort is not going to help me with my over all goal. Your just being paranoid. There is no race to witch mountain  It is not forty eight days and forty eight nights.
#811
I think that somebody was working on a Nuetopia translation. I remember the image looked simular. They just took two screens and put the NDS logo next to it. They are just trying to create hype for the game, that is all.
#812
Well that was depressing, dissapointing and unoriginal. I have tons of videogame ideas simular to that but, I lack the programmer qualities for it.

If the artwork was you know airbrushed, and not sooo commercial looking, I would probably buy the game. No really I don't mind, big doied eyed characters, but when it is done to death, has no dimension, or life and not by me, it makes me angry.

Also slimes........yeah slimes are soooo coooll lets make that the most obvious first enemy to set against a couple of younings lost in a forest, who carries magi sticks.

Also why call it magical whip???? Those are canes, darling, canes. Makes me think of that SNES rpg which was remade for the SNES I am not going to mention the name.

Fighting Street / Re: Gamestop = FAIL
12/30/2011, 07:33 PM
Okay you all have your say, now I am going to have mine.

I remember the great days of a legenedary store game store called "dragons den" and the fatal "Fairyland Arcade" and "Coney Island Arcade" ( which magically burnt down recently ). Far into the future long after software etc, and ebgames their was a store called Funcoland.

No wait their was another store, a store that sold a bunch of crap including videogames, but that was another universe.

Lets start with Toys"R" Us. When I was alive, we had Sega Saturns lined up with Sonic-R everybody fought just to play something with the most rubbish controllers somebody could come up with ( which was adopted in Sonic Generations ). Then again the N64 appeared and me and a business man was playing Mario trying to topple bomb-omb.

Then the funcoland days. Seriously these people were in college, all of them. Or trying to make some money while living at home. One was a lawyer, and another was a financial major. I even ran into a art major. Before the years of GS, a staff once stood and nobody cared at all. It was a wonderful world from that point of view. You had doors of SNES, Genesis, PSX, and Saturns with games to play.  However happiness was far from the truth. Remember those times when they had something for the NES but they lied to your face??? That was funcoland blue shirt years. Then the green shirts came along, and boy that was fun, the store folks would say "Why not go outside and play basket ball, or pick up girls" other people were like "So your collecting those RPGs" ( You know the only ones that were playable back then". So many other wonderfull moments.

Speaking of miracles you had the practically invisble Game Crazy. Game Crazy is where all the BlockBuster game people were. Last of the video freaks. Speaking of which the BlockBuster in my area shutdown. It was sad with one woman employee holding the fort down. I wanted to steal something but I felt sad for her. Game Crazy the last time I made some dumb joke ( as I did when I wented into a store ) and chat with the person behind the desk ( as I did in the past ). So balh balh blah they shutdown even staying open 24hrs a day.

Back to Funcoland. Funcoland had been brought by GameStop ( kinda like how G4 flipyty floppyty flooped TechTv ). and they fired everyone. The same green shirt staff that was their for like years, gone. Then they fired manager after manager. One man pleaded for his job. Everytime a manager was hired they would also hire a new staff. The staff was basically what the manager wanted.

The first manager hired people who needed the jobs, like people with kids. The second manager hired people who were into videogames, and the third manager hired people
who were uhm..........like of their own race. The third never got fired because they would cheat ( why did all those managers get fired???? Well what does gamestop employees first mission is??? ). It was pretty much a white wash of the entire store.
I forget about the manager who actually was an employee and was upgraded to manager, and the guy from Manhattan with the N-word on his tounge. So this store all together had five managers, I repeat five managers. Some stores had two managers working one store keeping an eye on the other manager.

I repeat a store had the following managers

A father gamer
A gamer
A white guy with the N-word on his tounge
A black woman who only liked her own kind ( black or female )
A previous sales associate.

Speaking of being stupid during the gamestop times. One time I ticked off a sale associate. That same guy was stealing from the register ( no shit ) and was stealing the games. He had complained to the region manager about the store area, and so he was moved back to the mall area, and was busted for theiver.
..........................................................................................

Here is the flatfact truth about Gamestop. We are dead men walking, we all should be in our success. Not complaining about how sucky GS. I am kinda glad that funcoland is dead, because if Funcoland was around I would be like WTF!!!!

You walk into a gamestore and see crap. Everything looks like crap. Did you know they dump everything in the store. No it does not get sent back to another store it gets dumped, into the garbage truck. So final results, GS knowns what they sell is crap, and is milking a consumer that is driven by children ( their I said it ) children.

I am too bid, too tired, and too obssessed to even go backwards in time, to go to Funcoland. They are in another world, and have heads full of nothing.........9999% of the time. Even if I got to know them, I don't wanna know them. I am too big for new freinds like that.

...

Here is an example, a person in the store obviously likes Castlevania, ( the new one )
and got a free shirt just for working their ( like in EB games everybody got free GTA stuff ) and they know about the PCE Castlevania only threw Wii. That is how out of the loop they are, and I am.

Gamestop = current = playpen

..............................................

Just typing all of this crap, makes me forget about the mission.
#814
OKay thanks for all your responses.

1. When I say GUI I mean to say anything where the user can interact with images without using command line options. Which is pretty much what all videogames are.
Unless their is another term for a user to interact with images.

2. Just PM me and send, a demo with explantions, and make sure it is able to compile.

3. It is a demo, and if the project is going upstream could be a whole product.

4. Gals Panic, yes I would be intrested in doing a gals panic type game. Where I do the graphics, but it has to be in house. Not this project. Speaking of which, I wish Xevious was Gals Panic because it would have gave the PCE a fighting chance instead of Majhong for the last 10,000th time. With all the stuff on the internet, I don't know if people would go for that. It would be unfun to make all of those images, and not be able to you know in the process. I don't know how long I could hold out. That is why people have wives.
#815
Well that is between me and the person who I am going to be working with.
#816
PM about listing. I am desperate for help,  :roll:I am "dying"  :-({|= .

If you want to work with me. I need to see a demonstration of your code, that is executable with whatever complier. It is a demo we are making.

PM about listing
#817
To make you understand, I am not going to make you understand. I  have been going backwards, with videogames. I am sick of 3d scat, while I do play them from time to time, I got rid of my PS3, 360, and Wii before the year was up on all three consoles. That is how it is, for me okay.

I told you my favorite game for the system, that is it.
#818
Energy is a great game, and I like it. I already knew what the game was about and that is why I brought it.

Just pretend that your playing that Physic god boy, and your in a metropolis, urban enviorment with demonic creatures all over the place. Rings a bell?

#819
thoughts about inserting disc into computer.

1. Don't do it, because you will damage the CD in the process, and thus ruin the cd for future generations. Your probably thinking about physical break down, but this occurs naturally to all things exposed to light and oxygen, and being exposed to various chemicals.

Their is no true alternative for backup. All computer data is temporary and must be backed up and stored
ever generation or so. newer computers also suck at this.

3. Also the entire PCE library is up and about online.
Because some r-tard inserted their disc in a computer.
Even if you make a direct copy, and burn it back to disc. There is a chance their will be a lock up,
or freeze in the gameplay, never ever be like the original disc. A complete waste of money, like a blow-up doll.

4. Backup data is not considered archival data because you are dealing with a physical product. If you just need a copy of the game, their are plenty of places to download from.
#820
Too many games to choose from.

Wonder Momo is one of them. Everything in WM embodies what I love about JRPG games. It has everything in that one game. You can play that game forever and never get bored.
#821
I am not going to arugue this. Lets all agree that everybody has a differnt terminology and representation of what a synthersizer music ( chiptune ).

The PCE can do the same kinds of music the Genesis, SNES, Saturn,
and even PSX can do. That is all I really care about. I don't care about music controlling stage lights, or sound sampling being played alongside those computerized data.

The flat fact is the music from back then was great, and before that great, and even now great. I just want to know what the original poster, found so displeasing about the music in Neo-metal.

..........

You mean to say repetitive?

I understand that perfectly, after hearing a background music for a long time of any game can get on my nerves. It is like playing street fighter music while your sleeping.
#822
The Music in Neo-Metal is what you would normally hear in an ancient time themed series, or animation. Yes like many series the music is something from youth culture
( like a b-movie ) but you have to remember the feeling the sounds gave off, when it was needed or not.

ddd1234 you have to be more specific about Mediocore. It just seems that you have a problem with the music in the game on another level I can not understand. What would you prefer???????

I prefer everything before 1995. Everything leaving 1995 sounds like......not the best to me. However that is part of growing up ( you know a walking talking dead person ), you start to understand where things originates from and apreciate the nature of creativity whatever spawns from it. It does not mean you need to be like, Stan Marsh and say everything is shite. It just gives you a broader outlook and aprieciation on life. It is not that everything is crap, it is just that alot of people are childish and only got smart enough not to be bums.

QuoteLike The Old Rover said, if you can make good chiptunes you can make good redbook. You can do anything with redbook, including recording PSG onto it. You want a dual PSG chip Arkhan? Well, this could be done on CD with some clever mixing. Its never going to happen with a standard PCE.
Okay here is the thing, A chiptune is a new thing, it is not the invention of synthisizers, and it is not stuff from the 1980's. A chiptune is basically mixing in regular, real music with synth sounds. Nobody wants to admit this because this has been done before many times. We consumers of videogames just called this "game music", and some musical candy man nutter decided to call it something else.

Many of these newer mucisians are just milking everything from the past and calling it new, because nobody can remember where that piece of music came from.

Synthisizer music was made to mimic real instruments which it does greatly, at the same time create it's own class of instruments. What
people needs to understand the music on CD that is really Synth music made in a more sophisicated machine. The PCE can have it's own brand of midi/Mod/PSG music but it is limited to the instruments and memory usage, along with channels. Of course in order to get more space in a music file you must.......
#823
They felt the current PCECD was good enough for a CD-rom release, and wanted to capture X amount of users who had access to the CD-rom instead of forcing consumers to purchase the next card.

QuoteIf AV wanted money so badly, they should have waited another 6 months and made it a less constrained SuperCD release
How about this idea. What if they were making two differnt ports of the same exact game, and thus both had differnt presentations. Would that make more sense? At the time, they had made the decision that releasing either variant would not make a difference in sales, and would not harm them. It is kinda childish but in a creative sense, it makes sense.
#824
Why is everybody molly coddlying a videogame. Who really cares what was, and is Arcade, or port perfect. The flat fact is the game is playable, has great sound and most importantly was released more then once. You think this is the only PCE game that got a revamp, and rerelease.

Also why blame the programmers, hell they did a better job then most of us here combined already. What about the artists, who redid the blasted tiles for the game everytime it was ported, or the sound people. Maybe they just did it on purpose for some reason, to give the player another reason to rebuy the same game again.
#825
QuoteWonder Momo, by the way, truly is crap.
Wonder Momo is not crap. It is a great action game, and ten times better in terms of originalsim then Momotarou. It is also gives you an idea of what was going in, before they had live action Power Ranger events, in audritoriums, and local events. Wonder momo is a better samus. A person who is not into fighting games or wants colorful stuff
wouldn't understand the wonder of momo.
#826
Peach boy is the hudson variant of Dragon Quest, but with the obvious nationalist Nippon spirit, retelling the legend of Peach Boy.

They are basically the same game but the PCE one is the official hudson game system, while the other is on the idea stealing Famicom. However if you like the famicom or whatever machine then go right ahead.
I don't about the fight scenes, all I known I am tired of seeing oni-men.

Peach boy has been ported to so many systems, so it is hard to tell them from each other.
