My father was a deacon in the Catholic Church- but my parents never censored anything I was into.  I was watching horror movies as a kid, listening to rap when rap first exploded (I'd even have my father play the tapes in his car when he'd drive me and my friends around- stuff like Schooly D and Kool G Rap), playing, reading and watching practically whatever I wanted.  I even went through this corny witchcraft phase at one point (I was smitten with a friend's mother who was a priestess) and my parents would actually buy me the Raymond Buckley books I told them I wanted.  In the later years they knew I was smoking pot at home too- but I was honest about it all- unlike my brother.  I guess they figured- correctly- that A) If you tell your kid he can't watch something or read something or whatever- it's gonna make him want to do it even more- especially in his teen years, B) that if it's just one of those teenage "cool" things that I would eventually outgrow it and C) that what I really liked I would wind up liking no matter what.  I'd say their policies worked.  Most of the boys from my grammar school that were getting better grades than me and weren't allowed to do anything wound up being serious drug addicts.  I turned out alright. 

This should be a lesson to parents- don't overprotect your kids.  I talked to one of my sisters about this the other day.  I told her to expect that her son WILL go through his drug/alcohol phase (especially since he lives in Long Island lol)-  it's how she handles it that will help determine where he winds up from there.  She already did a pretty bad job by not letting him and his sister watch movies that all their friends were watching.

I guess when I hear "falling brick"  I think of ones where you maneuver the pieces and put them where you want.  To me implode is just a match 3 game where the screen fills up.  if it were

Falling brick just means falling brick.  Tetris is a falling brick- just one where you interlock the pieces.  Other games like tetris where you would interlock the shapes would be considered something like "Tetris-style Falling Brick"... but really anyway matching colors and/or card hands etc. are also variations of "interlocking" the pieces.  You want this color one next to this color one- you want this shape next to this shape- same thing really.

Ryukyu is absolutely worth picking up- it's very relaxing- not something you'd want to throw against a wall- plus it's a Face game which is always a plus (I love Time Cruise II, Hani on the Road and Metal Stoker- and actually had a lot of fun beating Alice in Wonderdream)- unless the game is Cross Wiber- which is hideous.  Most Face games are at the least very original.  I also feel that matching up poker hands with the "bricks" adds an interesting element to what can be a very monotonous genre-
I guess you'd have to like falling bricks and poker to really like it though

I once gave my TE to nat to fix the sound issue- and when I gave it to him it had two stuck pixels- he returned it- sound fixed- stuck pixels gone.  When I thanked him for the pixels he didn't even realize he fixed them- but theorized that when he was cleaning the thing up he may have rubbed it out of the screen- so I'd say rubbing it is worth a shot.

Definitely had to go with Puyo Puyo, Ryukyu, and Spin Pair.  I might've voted for Puyo Puyo II but I don't have it- so I don't know. 
The other games here that I have are Hatris (I actually enjoy that one), Klax (fucking terrible), Panic Bomber (3+ multi player modes are such shit- you can hardly make anything out), and Implode (never played it).
Puyo Puyo is by far the most fun-
Ryukyu is by far the most involving for my money-
and Spin Pair I had a good deal of fun with- and I must've liked it enough to beat the damn thing in story mode (last battle vs. the Black Wizard).

EDIT- I really feel Ryukyu is the unsung hero here- I'm the only one who voted for it?

But we can still mock Joe Redifer forevermore for being a tool.  Two weeks ago, when he said Fighting Street should go away, he acted like a whiny little kid (because other users were clearly not agreeing with him).  Hell, he acted like a whiny little kid from the day it was first introduced.  But now that the forum really is going away, he acts all high and mighty.  That's "tool" defined.

Another way to look at it.... an eight-year-old gets a toy.  The drooling three-year-old sibling doesn't like to see the eight-year-old get a toy, so he whines and whines.  The parent suggests they share.  And, of course, the toy gets broken as soon as the drooling three-year-old touches it.

That's Joe.  He just couldn't stand to the side and let users enjoy their little toy.  He had to come barging in and try to "prove" the forum was a bad idea.  When that didn't work, he started moderating it.  When that didn't work, he acted like a little baby and went crying to mama and papa.  And now our toy is broken.

Point in time when Nintega was rampant running around with his first alternate accounts- me and Mike Helgeson were practically deputized by Aaron in chat and Pm's to keep eyes on Nintega because we were good at spotting him.  Mike made a thread about Nintega and how relentless he was being and how we were getting back at him on youtube for it and you locked it down and said you didn't want to hear about Nintega anymore, that we were being childish and if we left him alone he'd leave us alone.  Suddenly now that Nintega was gone again at the moment you didn't give a shit if he was stalking me and Mike or not, even though Mike had been a long-time member here (I hadn't been around as long) who helped out members and was extensively informative on tech aspects.  It wasn't your problem- and you didn't want it in here.  Thanks guys for helping us root out Nintega- he's still giving you problems on the side?  Not my problem- don't want it posted in here.  Zero support from Joe Redifer- Just forum nazi bullshit- no bread for you.  Your lack of giving a fuck is what caused Mike Helgeson to leave.  He was disgusted by how he felt you turned on him at the drop of a dime after he helped cleaning up the board's problem of Nintega.  You didn't want a place for him to mention it- and you pretty much accused us of being children who don't know how to solve a problem.

Another amusing aspect of this whole thing is that you're pretty much ATTEMPTING to do what you accused me of earlier- with zero degree of success. 

Finally, hate to burst your own trip Bozo- I wash my hair regularly.  I'm not this huge tough guy or anything but I do pushups every day- not a lot- 3 sets of 15's on Monday, 20's on Tuesday, 25's on Wed., 30's on Thursday, 35's on Friday.  Not tough guy shit by any means but insures that I don't have these flabby boobs and sagging arms which you no doubt projected your own image onto.  No red meat during the weekdays anymore either.  I'm in fine shape.  There's quite a few pictures of me on the pages here if you feel like looking for them- but if you're looking for the equivalent of your shitty drawing- you won't find what you're looking for.  As for my tattoos- they have meaning.  I don't get them to be a tough guy.  The one closest in proximity to your drawing is a tattoo I got to commemorate my father who died three months ago.  He got the same exact tattoo in the same exact fucking spot back in the 50's in Coney Island.  So- again- you're way off the mark.
