[NEC Console Resource / Coming back after long bout of inactivity]

Hello all, just thought I'd say hello and reintroduce myself. Been a somewhat long time member off and on. Since around 2008 or so. I was around for the whole nintega thing for those who may remember that debauchery, and many other fine drama filled soap opera like moments on teh fine internets. Looking forward to much OBEY here in the future. Been recently booting back up some turbob goodness and must say it's been too long. Figure there are probably a lotta new cats around these here parts so should introduce my self proper. Currently enjoying me some Spriggan and soon some Mystic Formula.

So I was looking through some old threads and what not via a reply to a quote of another unrelated thread and saw a link to that anime4ever.de site, and remember that was they guy that was selling those Saphy boots, and saw that Rockman Super CD rom game, looks really nice package wise, and really want to get my hands on one of those assuming they were actually put into print by that guy, so yeah does anybody know how I can get one or if it's possible to still buy from that site, I tried clicking on the "email me" link but it did not work.

Hey there, so as we all know and are not surprised by, ebay can be a good and very bad place to look for classic videogame goodness, while a lot of peeps pretty much write that site off, I do still time to time get on and gander about looking for deals. Over the past 3 to 4 years we all on here have seen some pretty shady stuff, well here is a new one. So this ebay seller http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Exile-TG16-Video-Game-/380420503092?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item5892d43634 has numerous copies of Exile for sale brand new and factory sealed. I was excited to have some spending money to be able to put back into my collection a handful of turbo games I sold off a year or 2 ago. I saw that this seller had Exile, new and was listed for $50 which IMO is a high price already since not even 1 year or 2 ago you could still get them new for around $20 or less. Anyways I added this to my watch list and figured I'd wait a day just in case. So went back to purchase it earlier this morning and the price has jumped from $50.99 to $507.99, in one day, WTF! So this is just a typical ebay douche it appears, makes me so mad cause I really wanted this game but not at this price LMAO. So beware of this ebay seller, they seem to be very shady.

So this just goes to show how little I actually get on the internet and what not, as I spend a lot more time playing games and taking care of family, and watching gory splatter films and what not. I just now found out at time of this posting that Rising Stuff store is no more  This is so very sad. Im sure there is already probably a thread about this somewhere but I dont feel like searching for it. This is definately a downer for me, as they provided the best customer service I have ever experienced for an online site.

I am desperately looking to buy a tg-16 console, deck only. I do not need any controllers or av cables etc etc, just the console. I have been having the itch to play all my games for quite some time but am currently without my console as it is with a friend being modded to play Japanese games, however he has had it for over 6 months and keeps forgetting to bring it into town everytime he visits/works. I really wanna play all my games. So if anyone has a spare console they can part with and for a good(aka cheap) deal, I would like to buy it. Like I said, all i need is the console.

Hello all. So I had recently taken my TG-16 cd unit to get fixed and it worked for a week, Im afraid it has had its very last breath and is shot to hell. So now im in desperate need of the cd unit by itself preferably or w/the docking station(I dont need the docking station but if thats the only way someone on will sell it is w/it than I will buy.) Anyways, if anybody has, knows someone who has(and is willing to sell)or where I can get one(online somewhere other than ebay)that's willing to sell a working cd unit for the turbo grafx 16 I would be forever greatful. Mine died just today and it truly is beyond repair im afraid unless someone has extremely good saudering skills and spare wire i can explain whats broken than maybe it can be fixed. Please let me know thanks. I am willing to work out some trades too, or buy it outright or maybe even both.

[Off-Topic / BREAKING NEWS! Reseller Proconnection on ebay is a bastard!]

So as this is obviously no new topic or situation in which many of us have dealt with, it really just sickens me. "What is it" you ask that sickens me. FUCKING resellers and there gawddamb distastful douche bag tactics of selling games. So I recently(a week and a half ago) got my tax break kicker check thing in the mail(FINALLY). So I decied to use $150 of it to spend on my self, so started looking for PS1 games that I have recently sold off over the past few months to pay bills and other things(due to recent unfortunate incident)and came across a minty fresh sealed copy of the following 3 games all being offered by the same seller in an auction style format: They were Legend Of Mana, Breath of Fire IV, and Brave Fencer Musashi. All were at a starting bid of 99 cents. So i decided to watch all 3 since i had earlier sold em(and really missing them too of course), each game was only around the $40-50 mark with only 1 day left to go(I had been watching them within their first few hours of being listed so likae all week basically). Then when I got home later that day to place a bid(with less than 10 hours to go)i find that all 3 games had been cancelled with the reason being stated as"Item no longer available for sale" so I thought okay man that sucks I really wanted these, i figured someone just probly got to him and made a fairly reasonable offer for all 3 that he couldnt refuse. But tonight as to my amazement as Im looking for these 3 games still in a like new or sealed condition I came across the same seller offering up these exact 3 titles that he had just the week before as an auction style format except this time they are BIN or best offer with the prices as follows Brave Fencer BIN $175 Breath of Fire 4 BIN $70 and Legend of Mana BIN $130. DUDE LIKE WTF man! He had ended these exact ones (same physical copies) a week ago saying no longer for sale only to find out he was to worried they would end cheap thus ending auction and relisting them as very insanely high priced items. NOT COOL AT ALL! There had already been multiple bids placed on all 3 games so he technically should have been obligated to sellt them but know he has to be greedy son of a bitch and gouge the price way up. WHAT A DOUCHE BAG! So moral of the story, do not buy from ebay seller Proconnection!

[Console Repair/Mod Center / geky's turbo cd unit is in need of a doctor, who can rise to the challenge!]

HELP! My turbo cd unit is apparently sick and is need of some medical attention! Who can help that is very good and reliable with repairs! This is the problem, anytime I try to play cd games, they wont load, and i noticed that its cause the little cd mechanism or laser eye thingy isnt moving or doing anything. THIS SUCKS, has never ever happened to me before till today. PLEASE HELP, rescue my turbo someone!

If anyone out there has a copy of Fiend Hunter that they would be willing to sell I am in desperate need of another copy. Doesnt have to have the spine card w/it but at least needs to be complete minus spine card and registration/mailer cards if there were any. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.
