Has anybody actually tried to write program code for the PAL TG16? I've said before I don't believe any exists. It'd be nice to at least have a tech demo of how real 50hz games would've performed.

Hey getting back into PCE. Just ordered Air Zonk from Japan. Except I need the console...
I'd prefer CD ability. Maybe even RGB and US/JP switch if at reasonable price.
Though CoreGrafx would be an OK starter. (white PCE requires AV mod or the expansion unit)
Also send me your game list. Especially loose hucards!

I need a Mega Drive please. Preferably PAL because some games require it. JPN/Asia/etc is also OK.
But it does not have to work. Or even contain the system board inside. Just its case shells are still useful to me. Thanks!

PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / Turbografx availability in WA state during the system's life

Hey I'm curious about Turbo regional distribution way out here back when it was active supported. How much NEC console related inventory did typical retailers stock in this area? Had they quit carrying it earlier than other parts of the nation? Were there otherwise-common titles that seemingly ended up bordering on impossible to find new? I missed that era myself, not old enough at the time to know about TG16.
If you have stories of the sort on other "less mainstream" systems like Neo Geo, 3DO, Lynx, etc, I'd be interested in hearing them too.

I don't yet really have a want list formed for this system. Most interested in platformers. Followed by shmups. Some puzzle games, RPGs, or fighters OK too. Text adventures, strategy, sports, etc, are unlikely to be of interest. Still almost anything good is an option. My system is a region mod Duo-R.
Let me know if there's a cost difference between US and Japan versions. Be patient, I'm not familiar with Turbo prices. I'd rather deal with minor trial and error than spend way more for the same game.
Incomplete is generally preferred on hucards. It can be a major savings for some titles. Leaves more money to put toward games, rather than clutter of manuals/etc I rarely read anyway.
CD games I'd like the case inserts when available. Don't need spine cards if they cost extra. Not my thing.

Hello! I've lurked around and decided I'd like to sell or trade these here. Rather than let feebay take a hefty cut. Good starter setup I will guarantee fully functional.
I gathered most of the stuff over several months from folks at digitpress (if you see this, thanks again). Yet it turns out NEC consoles just aren't my thing. Partly as I didn't do enough research to know there were comparatively few good English games than Japanese. So I'm hoping for items of more appeal in return!
I'd prefer trades and to keep it as a lot. Though I'll gladly break them up. As for selling make a fair offer. Price negotiable, but please no blatant lowball.
I'm in the US. Postage varies by destination. International is OK if you'll willing to cover the rate to your country and don't mine whatever customs fee may apply for something of this value.
