Can't beat the all mighty Amiga!

Yes 8)
Both C64 and the Polish are bad ass.
Don't broke what ain't fixed, or don't fix what ain't broked or whatever.
This is one of the greatest chit-chat threads, ever.
This thread should immediately be in the hall of fame.
POLSKA 64
Jack Tramiel was a Polish refugee, after all.
Commodore computers were badass. I have both a C64 and C128 that haven't received NEARLY enough love from me lately. Don't have an Amiga, though. They're kinda expensive.
In a way, you could argue that the C64 was in many ways one of the precursors of the "gaming PC," with its great graphics and sound for the time. Although, unlike gaming PCs today, it was reasonably priced.
Hmm...this thread makes me want to boot mine up!

C64 = definitive proof that jews are actually cool.
The article says the machine was used to "balance drive shafts" which isn't a thing most normal auto shops actually do. Rather than doing all the books and the payroll I think this machine has a more specialist role, one that it can probably just do forever. Replace it with a PC and get used to buying a new one every five years.

I would have said Bob Dylan but to each his own.
That's pretty cool. I bought a C64 and a bunch of software over a year ago. I still haven't cleaned it up and tried to boot it yet. Maybe this will give me the drive.

Emma Goldman was cooler than Dylan by a mile. I don't know why I said that. First thing that came to mind, I guess.

P.S. Please burn all the Mad Max and Lethal Weapon discs in your LaserDisc collection. Don't even get me started on Mel—Jesus! What a douchebag he turned out to be.

Jack Tramiel might have invented the greatest 8bit computer, but he was not a good man. Not as bad as Mel Gibson or Hitler, though.

K-Lash,
Find your old rosary beads (look behind the stacks of VHS porn in the foyer closet) and recite Hail Mary twenty times as penance.
Don't make me get petty and vengeful on your mortal arse!
This, I command.
Love,
Yahweh

I accidentally repeated the Mel Gibson drunken phone call 20 times instead.

Here am I wondering if Xray has had any C64 neon signs for sale in the past.

You can't fool us; the top has been hastily put back on the one on the left.
Or, um, it actually has no motherboard inside. :)

There's probably a SNES Mini motherboard in there!

Hastily put back. lol
The pic was taken sometime middle of last year. If all screws weren't put back it's most probably because I was still cleaning the sucker.
But I assure you, unless I have a ghost in the gaming room with a penchant for messing around with old C64's, all internals are present and correct.
I still have my C=128, no idea if it still works.
And the games were thrown out many years ago. :(
More proof the Commodore 64 is a music machine!

With an expansion of course...

C128 is a very powerful machine, widely used because of its exclusive commands such as "go 64",

I just held down the C= key when booting most of the time.

I watch this guy sometimes he has some interesting videos. Watching him play his theme song on a C64 keyboard is cool.
