Steer clear of this seller by all means.

http://www.amazon.com/shops/pieceofmindbooks

http://www.amazon.com/shops/pieceofmindmedia

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=pieceofmindbooks

All their negative feedback on eBay:
http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=pieceofmindbooks&Dirn=Received+by&Many=ON
-notice all the game used, resealed comments.

I bought a copy of Wartech: Senko no Ronde for X-Box 360 off of Amazon, thinking it was coming directly from Amazon, as since the last time I ordered, they moved the place where it states who actually has the item, and who it is fulfilled by. Not a big deal, but spotted it after I checked out; I prefer to steer clear of situations where it is sold by another company regardless of being fulfilled by Amazon, due to previous issues in the past when buying from sellers directly on there. Free shipping or not, the hassle of such problems I have pained in the past are not worth the trouble.

Either way, game was sold by pieceofmindmedia and fulfilled by Amazon.

I get this in Saturday, and noticed something funny right off the bat: No security seal on the right side, however it had a sticker on the bottom similar to that of video DVDs, which read SECURITY DEVICE ENCLOSED. Also, the outer wrap was slightly loose, but was sealed like a standard Y-seal. Been collecting/buying a long time, so I know how to tell the difference between normal shrink wrap reseal and Y-seal, and I have seen loose shrink wrap on a retail game/movie before, so didn't think anything of the wrap part.

So I tried looking around on the net, to see if maybe other copies might be like this, as this isn't considered a top selling A+ title, and pulled up nothing. I went ahead and opened it being wary.

Noticed as soon as I opened the case, disc has wear around the center ring on BOTH sides, and disc has some minor scratches.

Game is used, and blatantly being sold as new. Not a fan of Gamestop, but even they don't do this kind of crap.

I immediately left negative feedback for the seller which I will not be changing, and I have already called up Amazon, as well as receiving a return label. They assured me I will be receiving a full refund as well.

I'm pissed because this is complete crap, taking advantage of people that may not otherwise know, and not only that, this makes Amazon look bad. I have had very few problems out of Amazon in the past, and I prefer to keep it this way. I told the representative that they should definitely look into this seller's feedback, as well as selling habits, as I have found other issues with them since I started looking around, including eBay.

The feedback I left them, which will be moved on to the later pages rather quickly I'm sure, due to how much they sell, is quoted here:
1 out of 5: "Item listed as NEW, arrived RESEALED with no security seal, and with wear on the disc, plus scratches. Do a search for this company they do this a lot. I am NOT changing or removing this feedback Amazon, so don't even ask. People need to know what his company is doing, and it's blatant fraud."
Date: September 7, 2009 Rated by Buyer: quoth09

They also have a lifetime rating/365 day rating of 96% on Amazon, and 97% for the last 30-90 days - not a good sign for a good seller on Amazon. Had I known this prior to ordering, I would have changed to a different seller, or removed the item from my basket.

Seems that Kemco is now the seller listed and fulfilled by Amazon, though NorAm International is listed as another seller on the list, for 11.89 + $3.99 shipping, listed as New, though a lot of other sellers have the same price or around that.

If anyone else has such problems with them, please chime in and report them to where you purchased the item from. These bastards need to be out of business. Also, I love the fact that NorAm has this listed on their profile:
NorAm is a woman owned enterprise founded in 2006, with 25 employees committed to meeting our customer's needs.
Is it really that important to list that it's owned by a woman? Not to sound sexist here at all, but I could honestly care if the company I'm buying a game from was started by someone with a penis, a vagina, or is an alien. After this experience, all it makes me think is 2 words: lying bitch.

BTW- Anyone that cares to call them (not Amazon), their phone # is: 978-567-0741

Looking for trade on these 2. Will do a 2 for 1 trade depending on what you have. Drop me a PM with what you have to offer, as I'm not really looking for cash. Will take non PCE stuff as well.

Death Bringer is in it's original double case. Manual has minor-moderate front and back cover wear. Disc has minor scratches. Case has minor wear and some random cracks on front and back. No obi included if it came with one originally.

Master of Monsters is in a standard CD case. Manual has some moderately significant wear, mainly on the front and back cover; creases, wear, rips majority on the back cover. Disc has some minor scratches (mainly outside of the CD read area). Case has a broken top hinge, but I can easily replace the case if requested. No obi included if it came with one originally.

Just my opinion here, but I find people that can't stand subtitles to be ignorant and lazy with their excuses such as It's distracting!, or I can't pay attention to the movie that way!

This does not apply to group mentality, nor children or the elderly that can't read that well or have a tough time following due to age or learning. I'm talking about normal people that are perfectly capable of reading the subs, but won't. Especially girls that whine.

This also does not apply to anime or foreign movies that are in English originally, like Blood: The Last Vampire, where the anime has both Japanese and English scenes in the same movie, so it's not a 100% Japanese or 100% English dub; majority English language.

The ONLY dubbing I can stand on anything really, is anything Ghost in the Shell related (the voices ACTUALLY fit the characters), and Akira, which I will watch dubbed, but I prefer subbed. I still prefer Ghost in the Shell subbed, but I'm completely content watching it dubbed as well. I prefer anything I watch to be in it's original language with no exceptions.

I'm voting option 1, as the 2nd option does not encompass the extent of what I mentioned about Ghost in the Shell and Akira above; these 2 items are a VERY small percentage of what is out there, and doesn't even hit 1% on any scale.

This thread is is for shitty ass auctions for dumbfuck sellers that think their shit is worth gold, sellers that generally overall SUCK, piss poor service, and sellers that should be dragged out in the street and beaten/shot. Feel free to make fun of people's auctions, their overzealous prices, and overall anything that needs to be noticed. Harassment is encouraged as well if warranted. It's great to see stupid sellers that have no brain get worked up over their lack of thinking and research, so feel free to post their responses here, but keep it civil; let their jackassery shine through, don't make yourself look like a fool, especially if you politely inform someone of a simple mistake; be polite, don't go off on them immediately over an honest error. If they go off on you for trying to be courteous, different story entirely.

Fine example of sellers that I am talking about should be listed here (compiled from various previous threads):

https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=6586.0 - These bastards are about 45 minutes from me, fuck them. They attempted to rip off Michael, charge $2 for shipping that costs them NOTHING because they ship via UPS (which is insured for free up to $100), and then blatantly try to insult people by sending internal messages with your email in the CC: field that is supposed to go to their other customer service reps. Tons of complaints all over the net. They currently have a C- raiting on the BBB website, and previously under their old name they have an F-. These fuckers should not be in business.

https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=6474.0 - Fuck this guy and his Euro copy of Rez on PS2 and his hype bullshit about it being in HD.

https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=5973.0 - Fuck this guy for being a cheap ass motherfucker for leaving me a 4's across the board on DSR over $1 added to the cost of shipping for my time, supplies, gas, etc. which didn't even cover it. States he isn't a reseller - go look at his feedback and what he is selling! He basically took me as being competition, which I am not a damn arcade op/reseller, so he can fuck off, same goes for his youth group and grandmother.

https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=5969.0 - Fuck this stupid hick and his lying, harassing, wigger ass. He is a shit piece. Lists on his auctions he is from California or Florida, and he is in neither of those places. I don't honestly see how his wife puts up with his sorry ass, if he even really has one.

https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=4949.0 - Mint does not equal scratches and indents in a system. I still have this system, and it hasn't transformed into mint.

https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=6623.msg111116#msg111116 - A fucker from the UK that Harassed me about shipping costs that were plainly stated on the official USPS website, haggled me to ship him items uninsured First Class International (no tracking), thinks that 2 Genesis cases can fit in a Flat Rate envelope, and most of all: He's a FUCKING RESELLER. Then after explaining everything to him, he starts in with this bullshit of 'why are you so bitter & angry towards me personally?' after I told him I blocked him and the reasons why, as well as calling me crazy. Reported him to eBay for harassment, twice. Obviously does not care about anything to do with the seller being protected under any provision, and as such, everyone should block him. Also claims he never opens Paypal claims and 'You can rely/trust me'...who the hell says this shit unless they are trying to be sneaky? I have been on eBay for a decade and I have NEVER heard anyone send a message to me in any form with 'You can rely/trust me' in it.

---

http://www.toolhaus.org/ - Very useful tool for looking at Power Seller's negative feedback that is otherwise hidden by the numerous pages of positives. Very good for inspecting the bullshit about sellers like Erecycleronline with their 97.7% rate.

Lastly, add these sellers/buyers to your blocked bidding list:
2800yen, 2many_collectibles, 739b2e7bca368bc0730607894, akaviolence, aorian_star, arienzo1, baby-blues-2009, bargin_basement_games, basola, bear_pawjeff, beardedzone, benchards, big-b-toys, bjomama, bluebell1917, bozzspring77, br1574, caio007_123, cdad54, classicarcadegamecollector, czsoccer, dataswarehouse, ddav44, doctor_x-ray, dsaucierjr20, dupontroars24, endless201, erraticthinker, farmerjonbmx, frostadue, funhouse09, fura-philomina, gaming_freek, greatcompany026, gregkassapis, guingo, hemingrayglassgator, itchybon, jalkebarossell, johnjohn5274, kingdragonzero, leonardo160714, lolanglenn, lonebugs, loydiso, lrb7962, man_in_dream, marine_2k4, masterpiece_cd-lp, mustangclassics5, neotropolis, oldcompcollector2003, olliepompom, ovenman6677, peacefulifestyle, peyton_anthony69, poeticjedigamer, robzom617, saturn09, selina783, shagbren123, shaka818, sidtx17, skyler814, sl_dickens, snk4eva, sorin000, spacescorpion79, subzerops3, the.recordmans.music, thebigd80, thsgrllvsthtgirl, tink-a-link, usrpguk, venomdu17, whiteyflyer, wildecoyote1966, wuggelz, yianyia, yugenfu2

They are all worthless shit pieces for one reason or another. That list is from the last decade. For me to know the exact reasons on every one of them, I would have to go through a backlog of emails and other documents, which I will do at some point, but it won't be today.

I know at least 2 of the names above are Nigerian scam artists back from 2006 or 2007; benchards is one of them. I don't remember the other one off hand.

snk4eva, yugenfu2 = JAPHEI. If you don't know who that is, do a search on the Neo-Geo.com or Shmups forums.

spacescorpion79 is some jackass from Singapore that won a shirt from me, and my auction stated PAYPAL only. Refused to sign up for an account, and demanded that he pay by money order in HIS country's currency...he won the shirt for like $1. Even if I would have chosen to accept him doing this, after currency change over, I would have came out negative, not to mention the time waiting for his payment to arrive, which would have probably been a month.

erraticthinker - this fuck has SEVERE communication issues. Never responded to me at all about an envelope that I received from someone (to even confirm if it was him or not). I emailed and wrote him on eBay 5-6 different times over a month or so, and not 1 single response, and he was selling other items as well. So I opened up a dispute, and within a couple of days, he refunded me, not even with a single message. He then sends me a feedback revision request to either remove or change the negative feedback I left him. I obviously decline, citing that the feedback is 100% true, due to his piss poor communication. I then write him a message (which you can view at the bottom of this post: https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=6623.msg112147#msg112147) and then I finally (!) get a message back from him asking wait. so does that mean you're not going to remove the negative feedback? - nothing else, just asking about his feedback that I plainly stated in the message that I was not going to remove. Not even concerned about any other part of the transaction that I had previously tried to communicate with him on. Unbelievable. Severe lack of communication can get you a 'fuck off' in my book as well.

Photo below the list.

My other sales thread is here:
https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=6448.0  :-"

Rules:
Want more photos of something specific? Ask.
Due to the fact that these are so cheap, unless you buy a whole slew of them, I will be charging Paypal fees, on top of my cheap shipping. Shipping charges will be for the exact amount, so if you want a quote, PM with zip code/location.
If it doesn't say it has it, don't assume it does; meaning= if obi or reg card is not listed, it does not have it.
Possibly looking for trades, but really just wanna clear these out ASAP; I am however looking for a good condition Kato Chan & Ken Chan complete HuCard.

All games have cases and they are original. All the spines on the HuCard cases and back stickers look to be in good / excellent condition. Some cases have cracks in them on the front, but can easily be replaced with any other normal CD case front. If manual condition is not listed, it should be considered no more than minor usage wear. All HuCards ARE tested and working, same goes for CD games. Questions or specifics, ASK.

I am only expecting 1 payment from someone, and it isn't here yet. Not even sure what was in here, or who the sender is. Either way, whatever it was, I didn't get, and the envelope was ripped open on it's way to me. All that was in my PO Box was what you see below. It would have had to have been someone I dealt with since I moved, as it wasn't forwarded.

If anyone knows who this could be, or any other details, or this is you, please PM me. If I don't hear from anyone about this in the next 3 days, I will write the person and send them their envelope back stating what the situation is, because honestly, I'm at a loss here as to who this is from, or what it was supposed to be for.

If you are confused about what the subject line is, read PC-ENGINE HELL's conversation with this guy, lol.

Feel free to write this guy and harass him as he is a racist, an idiot, and stereotypes the US in general, among other things, including lying about a main feature of a game. This crap is the equivalent of saying that a PS1 game is in HD, or that playing a Virtual Console NES title on the Wii in 480p, means the game supported EDTV (Enhanced Definition) for the last 20-25 years.

A PS2 game does not = it being a PS3 game, nor does the fact that playing the game and it being upscaled on the PS3, mean that the game supports the same on PS2.

The auction is this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260359981377
keep on clicking through the 'This item or one like it has been relisted.' to find the current auction for the game.

First off, notice REZ HD in the title...Rez is a standard PS2 game. There is nothing HD about it. Some PS2 games support HD as an option on PS2, but not this one. Also, when you put it in a PS3, ALL systems upscale the game (the ones that support PS2 games that is). That doesn't make the game TRUE HD. There is nothing unique about this copy. It is EXACTLY like all of the other copies out in the UK/Europe. Also, let's not forget, not ALL PS3's will play PS2 games (which I forgot when I originally wrote him).

Secondly, this guy is having a field day, hyping the fact he thinks the game is TRUE HD, and basically is misrepresenting what the game is:
THIS IS FOR  THE GAMEDISC AND CASE ONLY ALL INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON SCREEN ....MANUAL MAY BE ACQUIRED AS A PDF FILE ONLINE...THIS IS ONE OF PLAYSTATION 2 'S MOST SOUGHT AFTER GAME'S ...IN THE PAST WE HAVE TRADED THIS GAME AND THOUGHT LITTLE OF ITS EXCLUSIVITY...BUT RECENTLY A FAMILY MEMBER WAS SURPRISED TO PUT  THIS ' REZ '  GAMEDISC INTO OUR NEW BLUE-RAY PLAYSTATION 3 ...WHICH IS CONNECTED  UP TO A PANASONIC HD READY TV  VIA  A ' HDMI ' LEAD GIVING A PURE UN-INTERUPTED SIGNAL FROM ONE DEVICE TO ANOTHER  IN HI-DEF.... WHEN THIS GAME STARTED TO PLAY THE TV'S  AUTOMATIC DISPLAY SAID " 1080P" ...I TOLD THE PERSON CONCERNED THAT THIS WAS RUBBISH...THE SUPER-RARE RHYTHM /ACTION GAME WAS MADE LONG BEFORE 'HI-DEF' WAS AN AFFORDABLE FORMAT ...BUT AGAIN WE POPPED THE DISC IN THE PS3 ... SELECTED THE 60HZ SCREEN REFRESH...AND SURE ENOUGH OUR TV DECIDED TO PRESENT IT IN ' HI -DEF'...AND IT LOOKED AND SOUNDED AWESOME !!! ...

" REZ " IS A GAME SO RARE ...IT STILL COMMANDS A SECOND HAND VALUE ABOVE THE PRICE OF NEW ISSUED GAMES ON  THE PS3 FORMAT...THE GAME IS RENOWNED FOR ITS UNIQUE.. ' NEVER PLAY THE SAME WAY TWICE' FEATURE ...WITH NEW SOUNDS AND COLOURS BEING ADDED TO THE GAME PLAY ..CONTROLLED BY YOUR ACTIONS !!! BELOW IS MORE INFORMATION FROM AN OPEN SOURCE...

He then goes on to post some review about the game or info (probably from Wikipedia), like it is his own knowledge.

Lastly, he is selling the game for more than it goes for: GBP 36.99 (approximately US $52.98) -- and he has relisted it at that 4 times now. Any smart person would have lowered the price already. Keep in mind, NO MANUAL, and he is one of those people touting RARE RARE RARE.

So, I wrote this guy, to inform him more than anything of the error of his auction...here are the messages, etc.
I'm sure other people will be chiming in after this with the lovely responses that he has been giving to them.

Dear funhouse09,

Not sure if someone has written you about this already but none the less; you are trying to pull a fast one, hoping that someone is stupid enough to believe your rubbish for what is normal on all systems, or you are just naive. ALL PS2 (and PS1) games when played on PS3, if they have been updated to a firmware post mid-2007 will upscale the games and movies to 1080p. There is nothing SPECIAL about your copy there. Do a google search for ps2 games 1080p ps3 - several of the links there (top 3 especially) state the upgrade that occurred in May of 2007. If you already know about this and you are trying to con someone into thinking you have something special here, you should be ashamed of yourself. It's a NORMAL copy of REZ for PS2, NOTHING MORE. ALL copies of REZ will play in 1080p on EVERYONE's PS3.

Dear funhouse09,

Good for you. Nice attempt at twisting my message to work in your favor; notice I said attempt. You just proved which of the 2 you are. Add this to your listing too, Mr. Rare Rubbish. Good luck with your auction; I'm sure you will be able to sell it for more than the price it goes for complete, considering that you are selling it WITHOUT THE MANUAL. You truly are naive, "see what i mean !!!".

Yeah, this is such an abusive tone...so abusive. My words are just beating you up. A punch in the face with an "A" and a kick in the leg with an "N". "F" is just dragging you around by your hair. You are ridiculous, just like your description; nothing but a bunch of hype. Don't bother writing me back.

He has relisted the same auction at least 4 times after that one, and not gotten a single bid; I hope he enjoys paying the fees.
I have since pointed it out to some people and he has every message that he gets, coming to him.
Had he changed the hype and BS in his auction and corrected it, I would have left well enough alone.

Have fun harassing him people, he kinda deserves it.
I wouldn't have even bothered mentioning this to anyone if he would have changed his auction, but the fact that he cares more to try to make me look like I am something I am not than correct his auction that is misrepresenting what he is selling, which is not only against eBay rules, but completely unethical as a sales person.

UPDATE: This was posted to the Q&A to his most recent listing (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260366672728) of the item:

/2ppy3yd.jpg
Q:     How many times have you re-listed this now? Hopefully you sell it before the fees exceed the low bid lol. I guess the HD strategy hasn't worked out like you thought it would ehh? Well, anyway, good luck I guess, maybe it will sell this time.    Feb-23-09

A:     thank you for taking such an interest in my misfortune ...but then again you are american and its part of your nature to stick you nose in were its not needed or wanted...i'm in england ..you know ..the place where all the history comes from ...i understand that your country is just over 200 years old and you had to kill a load of native americans to gain control of your barren land ...any way good luck trying to get the jumble of races there to live together without killing each other over a slice of pizza...

If you have a problem with my prices- Make an offer.

All the trade details and jazz below my sold items, to let people see the items for sale faster.

Arkanoid Returns US F3 cart + US F3 Motherboard. Includes original box for the cart, styrofoam holders and the anti-static bag - $150 shipped.

F3 boxes are not easy to get, most operators/distributors tossed them. Out of all the F3 carts I have ever purchased, this is the ONLY one I have ever gotten a box for, or seen for that matter. Not to mention the US version of this game is not exactly common. Box has minor to moderate wear, as shown in the photo.

Expendable JP Dreamcast - Complete, disc has some very minor scratches - $15 shipped

IMG

Shinobi Legions - US Saturn back cover - near mint, has one super small crease from the (white) backside - Free with purchase of anything else.

Don't really wanna ship this by itself; cost would be $1 + shipping + paypal fees = not really worth my time to sell.

35mm Film Negatives from various movie reels, basically strips of film that have 4-6 cels each on them. Looking to get rid of all of these; I purchased them a while back either in sets/lots or all at once. Lots of good films here, and to the right person that cares to do film cel reselling, it's a nice investment. I canceled my project that I previously was going to do with them is the reason I'm ditching them. For each movie, I have at least 5 strips, and most of them, 10 or more. Looking to get about 1-2$ per movie, so you end up with about 50 cels for each movie at that price, if not more; some I have several strips of, some I only have 5.
List is as follows:
Alien Resurrection, The Jackal, My Bloody Valentine, Australia, Hostage, Wanted, Live Free or Die Hard, 88 Minutes, Out of Sight, Gran Torino, For a Few Dollars More, Robocop 3, Valkyrie, Minority Report, End of Days, Babylon AD, The Last Samurai, The Sixth Day, Butterfly Effect, The Hills Have Eyes, Mercury Rising, Memoirs of a Geisha, Krull, Event Horizon, Solaris, A Scanner Darkly, Harsh Times, Unleashed, Lemony Snicket, King Arthur, War of the Worlds, The Devil's Advocate, Bronco Billy, Tomb Raider, Terminator Salvation, Inside Man, Oceans 11, Tomb Raider 2, Million Dollar Baby, Changeling, Oceans 12, Oceans 13, Almighty Heart, Leatherheads, Mission Impossible 3, Closer, Magnolia, Duplicity, Lesbian Vampire Killers, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly (B&W), Star Wars: Clone Wars (animated), Space Cowboys, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, Righteous Kill, International, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, The Guardian, City Hall, Merchant of Venice, Bone Collector, Wolverine, Deception, K-Pax, What Happens in Vegas, Kate & Leopold, Three Kings

Off-Topic / More foul Microsoft software
01/14/2009, 02:49 AM
(Parody version below)

Um, yeah I wish this was a joke. Absolutely horrible.
Microsoft Songsmith.

First the Vista SP1 internal promotion with a copycat Bruce Springsteen, and now this?
If I was in charge of a company bringing out this crap, everyone involved would be fired.
This video is absolutely embarrassing.

The lyrics are horrible, the singing is horrible, and any software that allows anyone to sing like this is horrible. It shouldn't have finished the song for any of these people, it should have came up with a blue screen saying YOU SUCK.

What is this, the new Microsoft BOB of music?

If you aren't familiar with the Vista SP1 internal promo:
Excuse me while I go throw up now.  :-&

On a lighter note, I found this parody of the Songsmith promo:

Off-Topic / Do The Hudson! + HudsonTV
10/24/2008, 01:33 AM
Ok, I couldn't find anything for these when I did a search on this site, so I'm going to assume that either no one knows about this stuff, or no one cares. None the less I found it interesting even though I don't have much usage for the first part:

Seems like Hudson has now started making iPhone and iPod Touch apps/games:
http://www.dothehudson.net/en/index.html

I found this site while trying to look for the arcade manual to Puzz Loop, so if you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, you may want to check it out, as some of them look to be good software titles, and the prices very from not bad to very reasonable (everything seems to be under $10; PuzzLoop Endless is only $1.99, Bomberman $7.99).

There are even a few freebies on there as well like some magic tricks app called touch Trix, which has Takahashi Meijin demoing it in the video :P   http://www.dothehudson.net/en/touch-trix/index.html

Free stuff is here: http://www.dothehudson.net/en/games/browsing-games.html
There are even a few free Bonk related apps, as well as Meijin related items, so fans of those may want to check that out.

As always, Japan gets games that we don't, such as Mahjong Police, and one other one. You can view the Japanese language version of the site here, or by clicking Japanese in the upper right corner of the English opening page: http://www.dothehudson.net/jp/index.html

-----

Secondly, I found Hudson's YouTube channel titled HudsonTV, which can be found here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/hudsonTV

Seems to be that they have an ongoing show on there called 16Shot TV, hosted by none other than himself, Mr. Meijin, as well as numerous other videos from the recent Tokyo Game Show.
Some of the episodes have him demoing Wii games, while some I watched pieces of, even had him showing off Hudson products from the past, Hudson offices (including the bathroom?), and other things, such as their newer platform games, and phone games.
Keep in mind that the majority of these videos are in Japanese with no subs, but none the less, they are enjoyable to watch, and most if not all, are in High Quality YouTube format, if you have it set in your account settings, or you tell it to load in High Quality (underneath the video frame).

One oddity that I did find, and I have no idea who the hell this girl is:
http://chakuapp-girl.jp/
She is on some of the HudsonTV videos (like the one of her playing Adventure Island for phones), and not sure what her or her friend's deal is, but she is only 20 and sounds like she is 30 .

None the less, I hope someone enjoys these links besides myself. I will definitely be going back and watching a lot of those YouTube vids.  :D

eBay ID: classicarcadegamecollector
eBay item in question: 290260542434
email: prick1369@hotmail.com
Name: Warren Wiliams
location: Pittsburgh, PA

In no attempt to steal Michael's thunder during the ongoing incident about the jackass london.21 aka the.recordmans.music on eBay, here we have another ass that enjoys using eBay's new feedback system in attempt to lower Search standings of other sellers that he thinks might be in competition with him; at the top of Best Match.

Anyone that knows anything about the new feedback system on eBay knows that regardless of DSR's of 4 being stated as 'Acceptable', that this is not acceptable at maintaining a good account status in regards to Search standings. eBay's new feedback system is crap, and this is just one of the ways that buyers (or other sellers) can screw over sellers by lowering their DSRs.

I had this guy leave me feedback the other day, which I immediately noticed a drop in my Shipping and Handling charges DSR. I watch them pretty closely, so I knew it was him. Having seen his name around before, I knew exactly what happened, so I contacted him about it formally, and pretty much told him he was banned due to what he was trying to pull. He threw a fit over $1, which is a legitimate and menial charge, and didn't even cover all of my packing supplies.

Hello, it has come to my attention that you just left feedback for an item that arrived 3 weeks ago, when I contacted you about it shortly after it's arrival with no response. While I appreciate every feedback I get, I have noticed something that I received from you, which I did not deserve, nor appreciate: A DSR rating of less than 5. The DSR ratings here on eBay should be honest, not lied on to make an advantage for yourself. You left something lower than a 5 on my Shipping and Handling Charges rating (as well as possibly others), when I charged you $6.94 to ship this cart, and everyone else charges a flat $10 usually. As a seller yourself, you know how much these weigh, and if $3 less than everyone else isn't reasonable or acceptable, I don't know what is. I know you left less than a 5 on my DSR rating for that because I watch my DSR feedback closely. Due to this behavior, you have been banned from further bidding on ANY of my auctions in the future. Thank you.

Now his reply is the real kicker:

Hello,
Wow, look at you go. Being blocked from your auctions will hardly be a life altering event for me, although suicide did briefly cross my mind, but a few hours of therapy seems to have stabilized me. Any way, I do not feel that I have left you any bad feedback. Your shipment cost you $5.94 to send, not $6.94. There wasn't any $1 packing fee listed in the auction. A 4, by Ebay's standards is "acceptable", which you were. Did you not get the email from Ebay stating that "free shipping" will solicit more 5's then charging $1 over cost?? Why are you bringing others into this, I didn't buy from them? And some sellers do offer free shipping on carts. So by your comparison rule, you should have gotten less than a 4. And I would leave them a 3 or 2, if they charge too much. Again, Ebay states that a 4 is acceptable and should bear no negative response. How is charging more than cost a 5? You have lost me on that one. How would you feel if you honestly participated in the feedback system, and were banned from bidding because a buyer thinks he gets all 5's, not matter what? Explain to me how your shipping cost is a solid 5 and we can proceed from there. I am sorry if anything that I have done is unacceptable to you, but if you look at it from my side, you can see that i am truly sorry that I ever dealt with you. Ebay is slowly destroying their base of loyal customers with stupid rules that cause sellers to harass innocent buyers. As a seller, I used to charge $.01 over the cost of a stamp, for the cost of the envelope, when I mailed envelopes to buyers. After the new policy, I lowered in to below the cost of a stamp, to solicit 5's. It worked, as you can see. And not that it matters to you, but that cart wasn't for me, it was for my local youth group. It was for the kids man, for the kids. I have printed out this email to give to the group, so that they know they won't be playing any new games from you! GOd Bless! This is a total waste of my time and intelligence, so I hope you have a great day!! ;-)
C'est la vie,
Me

P.S. I have reported your threating email and unjust banning to Ebay. Maybe you are right, maybe I am right, and maybe both of our positions are right? I will let Ebay decide what they want to do, since this is their world and a problem created by their policies.

I just replied to him today (received the original email Friday), as I was away from the computer for a few days:

Wow, let me count the ways about how ignorant and full of yourself you are, not to mention how many other people I have let read your response and have blocked and banned you as well.

I will be the first one to admit yeah, it cost me 5.94 + .18 (Paypal label/DC fee) for shipping on your item; I have nothing to hide. The fact that you left me a 4 based on a $1 menial packing fee, which did not even cover all of the packing material, etc. shows how much of a stingy person you are. I have ALWAYS charged $1 or $1.25 fee in addition to shipping on small items, and that doesn't cover eBay or Paypal fees, not to mention gas, time, and the real cost of packing materials. I have more than the right to do so without saying anything on my auctions (eBay even states I am NOT required to list such things, and I am allowed to), and if you want to get into that, go look at other people's auctions that actually charge shipping - they charge more than that, like I stated before. That charge is menial and it takes some of the bite out of all of the fees I have to pay. Packing materials are not free either.
Also, you are a plain out hypocrite: Before you wrote me, the shipping on your Sky Soldiers PCB was more than you have it listed now, and you changed it right before or after you wrote me.

As for free shipping, you are a joke. My item sold for what, $13.63?
$6.12 for shipping costs + $0.35 insertion fee + $1.19 final value fee + $0.90 paypal fee + my time + packing materials + gas = $5.07 not counting the last 3 which could not be valued had the auction ended and I was offering free shipping. That's some awesome profit there. I think I would have rather given the cart away to a poor kid, rather than have to deal with an asshole like you. At least they would have appreciated it more, even if they didn't have a Neo Geo.As for other sellers giving away carts for next to nothing, good for them; they are not me, and if I wanted to do that, I would put the stuff in the free section in my local paper, or better yet, out on the curb.

Why am I bringing others up? Because you had a choice of who to buy from. You saw my shipping prices BEFORE you bid. If you didn't, then you didn't read the notation at the top of my auction that states in red letters: 'Please Read the complete description, BEFORE BIDDING!'
The shipping costs section are PART of the description, and that stated $6.94 for your zip code. The fact that you chose Parcel also shows how much of a cheap ass you were

You state 4 is 'Acceptable' and while it may state that when selecting it, it really shows how much of a fool you really are if you honestly believe that about the new feedback system. So let me guess, if eBay told you to walk off of a cliff and told you it would feel great when you hit the bottom, you would believe them too, eh?
Apparently you don't understand what the DSRs do to accounts (even though I know you are playing dumb), and the fact of the matter, that it plainly shows how little concern you have for your own customers with your communication at 4.6, which is spelled out in the fact that I wrote you AFTER you recieved your item to verify you received it, and never got a single response or anything until you left feedback 3 weeks later.

"How would you feel if you honestly participated in the feedback system, and were banned from bidding because a buyer thinks he gets all 5's, not matter what?"

I'm not banning you for just leaving 4's, I'm banning you for your ignorant reasoning, being a stinge over $1, severe lack of communication to discuss the issue with me prior to leaving feedback and the plain fact that you are a reseller, trying to knock me out of competition with you on here, when I'm the last person you need to worry about, and furthermore, eBay is not the only marketplace for me. Thing is, you left 4's because there is now a kickback system in place where if a buyer leaves a positive feedback, and leaves anything lower than 4's or 3's on the DSRs consistantly, eBay supposedly takes a look and takes appropriate action.
I don't leave people that charge even $3 extra less than 5's if they do what they are supposed to, because I know how much it costs to ship items, pack them correctly, and overall have a professional attitude about it all. My original message to you about your feedback was formal, but when you show complete stupidity and play dumb about what you did, I have no qualms about bypassing that to an extent, and anyone else would do the same.

"Ebay is slowly destroying their base of loyal customers with stupid rules that cause sellers to harass innocent buyers."

You are a fine example of how eBay is going to shit and the people exploiting it; you are talking about yourself there, but oh nevermind, you are a reseller, so your pity party doesn't work there. You are the type that is only out for himself, so no, this isn't harassment, you plainly took me as competition and felt you needed to do something about it.

"As a seller, I used to charge $.01 over the cost of a stamp, for the cost of the envelope, when I mailed envelopes to buyers. After the new policy, I lowered in to below the cost of a stamp, to solicit 5's. It worked, as you can see."

No, I don't see anything, other than your severe lack of communication (which I experienced first hand) unless someone contacts you about something you don't like. Your feedback plainly shows that, with a whopping 4.6 which is lower than all of your other DSRs. Keep in mind you left me 4's across the board, even on communication, so your crap about bringing up $1 over shipping cost is null and void in regards to it all as well.

"I have printed out this email to give to the group, so that they know they won't be playing any new games from you!"

I don't care if the cart was for your grandmother or your pet rock. If it was for your local youth group, you wouldn't be a reseller, now would you? No, of course not. Maybe you should print out your sales for the month for them too, as well as your record of feedback you leave for people, along with DSRs? Keep on deceiving people and see where it eventually gets you. Making yourself look good in front of a bunch of teenagers and children by lying is nothing new; members of the church have been doing it for years, and I'm glad to see that you are keeping that tradition going. Nothing like letting/making people see your viewpoint without significant evidence what you wrote back to me from yourself, eh? :-P

As for playing any new games from me, I would definitely hope not, as:
A. I'm not a reseller, I don't sell items often
B. Neither you or your 'youth group/grandmother' will be touching my collection of games, EVER.
C. If your youth group is anything like you, I hope I never deal with any of them either.
D. I don't give free shipping.

Also, make DAMN sure you print out this whole email, so they can read how much of an ass I think you are, and that your logic is completely flawed.

"P.S. I have reported your threating email and unjust banning to Ebay. Maybe you are right, maybe I am right, and maybe both of our positions are right? I will let Ebay decide what they want to do, since this is their world and a problem created by their policies."

Have fun with that, and let me know what they say (have fun holding your breath). Furthermore, there is no rule in place by eBay that states anything about controlling who and when I can or cannot ban ANYONE from bidding on anything I have up for sale. The ONLY people that reserve that right are me, myself and I, and if you have a problem with it, tough luck. It's already done and it's not getting changed or lifted, especially after this email.

As for threats, if you want to hear threats, go listen to this:
BTW - nice email address, I think that spells out what you are as well: prick1369@hotmail.com

Don't bother writing me back - I will be making a thread about this on some forums, and you will only be adding to the humor.

It's people like this that motivate me to get my list of dealings over the last decade typed up, so everyone can see who the real assholes are.

Previous pcengine-fx.com member Atr3yu just sent me a rather smart ass question (if you even want to call it that) on one of my eBay auctions, which had he just bid and shut up, I would have been fine with, but I guess some people like being permanently blocked from bidding on my items. Besides, anyone that blatantly has 2 IDs and advertises them as such, as one for buying and one for bidding with no specific reason, is a reseller in my book, and that is exactly what he is. Besides, his behavior over here prior to his departure rang rather close to being that; those are more than my own words. If I wanted to deal with such comments, I would open up a pawn shop.

Dear quoth09,

Was going to bid but don't want to piss you off. Good luck with the sale and sorry about all this non-sense and I mean good luck on the sale this is a nice game I had been looking for

It is of my understanding that this community frowns upon people buying games for said price, then immediately trying to profit off of said item by reselling for a higher value without the buyer knowing that they are trying to do that. I recently ran across this with a member here attempting to get almost double out of a game from me that they just purchased here not even 2-3 weeks ago. Said member also played dumb with me prior to the offer, acting like they didn't even know the game's title before. I don't really appreciate it being done to me, and given that another member of this site recently got caught doing the same thing, and the reaction to that, I think it's fair to say that other members here should know about this one.

I can understand that possibly this person is trying to make money before they leave, but we are all supposed to be friends here, not trying to take advantage of each other regardless of the situation. I'm just kinda like whatever about it personally in this specific incident, but it's one of those things that if it was any other day I would possibly be pissed off. I have other things to worry about than this right now is why. I also won't be around for about another week, so if anyone has anything to say, they can sort it out between themselves.

Either way, I wouldn't be bringing this up if I didn't have almost 100% proof, and maybe I'm wrong, but it's just too fishy, and I was told by 2 other members here to go ahead and post this, so here it is.

Member in question is Atr3yu, and the game in question is New Adventure Island for PC Engine.
EDIT:(cough cough) Takahashi Meijin No Shinboukenjima...since someone wants to be so picky about the title...New Adventure Island is not on PC Engine, only a game called Adventure Island, and that's not the same thing, it's Dragon's Curse)...anyway, onwards.

Atr3yu bought the game in this thread, from RR1980, on July 22nd:
https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=5407.0

I get a message from Atr3yu during a transaction with him on Aug. 4th:
Well I will just pass then and I will get the manual from you. I don't need Bonk anymore as I got one in a lot from Ebay but is your Adventure Island complete. Also is it the one with the guy who throws axe's and have to get fruits?? Just asking as I bought an Adventure Island for PC Engine and it wasn't the game I was looking for as I was looking for New Adventure Island.

I reply back to him, not realizing at the time that Atr3yu was the one that purchased NAI on PC Engine in that thread, otherwise I would have been wondering why he didn't know this if he already had the game:
Manual is still available.
New Adventure Island was loose, it's sold now though, got payment for it yesterday.

But yeah, it is the one where you throw stuff and pick up fruits, ride skateboard, etc. real fun. The one on PC Engine is under it's JP name though; I forget the full name.

The title Adventure Island on PC engine is called Dragon's Curse over here in the US on Turbo.

I think I mentioned at some point in the Shoutbox that day or the day after that I missed out on RR1980's thread, because I would have wanted about half the games on there, including NAI for PCE.

I then receive this PM from atr3yu on August 6th:
Still looking for a copy of New Adveute Island for the PC Engine?? I have an extra that is complete except for the spine card. If so make me an offer as I had someone ask about it but I figured I would offer it to you first as you hooked me up.

I reply back:
?No spine card? Those didn't come with spine cards. No Hucards came with spines, only the labels on the early games that were attached the case.

Got photos of it? I may have found one a bit ago, all depends on how much yours is.

Let me know, thanks

Atr3yu replies back:
Well if no spine card then it is mint. No creases in the covers or scratches on the case. I don't have a camera ATM it is with the wife. As for a price make me an offer as I don't know what it's value it as I have seen it go for 60 on ebay in this shape but that is kinda high. I was thinking around 40 shipped but let me know as I am sure we can work something out.

So I'm thinking ok, I need to check prices and I will consider sending him an offer. The first place I go to look was RR1980's thread, because I remembered that he sold one in that thread. Damn, price is not listed, so I scroll down to see who got it...Atr3yu, or at least the message is there for it: https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?msg=95096

Immediately curious, I contact RR1980 and ask how much he sold it for. I get a reply back of $20 plus shipping.

So I write back Atr3yu later that day, and I tell him $25 shipped, and make up an excuse that someone else is offering one for almost the same price.

I get a reply back from Atr3yu: Yea I am gonna have to pass but thanks anyway. I spent 30 on this one. It's ok I have a buyer for it already. Thanks anyway.

So I give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he got it elsewhere, and the deal with RR1980 fell through, so I contact RR1980 again:
who did you sell that New Adventure Island too anyway? Atr3yu?
Let me know, thanks.

I get a reply back from RR1980:
haha yeah how did you know? is he trying to sell it to you now? hehe

I think that pretty much spells it out. Blatantly saying 40 or 60 at first to see what I would offer on it, then I end up offering him how much he paid for it + shipping, and he wants more than that.

I will let you discuss this among yourselves, as I'm sure the situation will remedy itself without my input.

Atr3yu, maybe you got the copy you are trying to sell me elsewhere, but the situation seemed just a little bit too fishy to me, and I wouldn't be trying to profit off of someone right after I got something on the same forums I got it from. You just don't do that here. If you want to do that stuff, take it to eBay. I'm sure that the other offender that did the same thing recently will be brought up as well.

Like I said, maybe I'm wrong, but it was mentioned by at least 2 members here that I make a thread about the situation.

ALL BACKUPS GONE - THESE WENT VERY FAST.

FREE + Shipping - First come first serve:

Ditching a bunch of my CD + DVD backups for various systems that I have had here for personal use. You just pay shipping. Titles vary, some are JP and some US. Discs come in spindles unless it is the smaller count ones (Sega CD, Saturn).
Not trying to make any profit here, just wanting to get rid of the stuff, and it's better than sending it to the landfill, plus someone else might find them useful.
Any questions, just ask.

Take one system, a couple, or all.

PS2 - about 60 discs - GONE
PC Engine / Turbo CD - about 30 discs - GONE
Sega CD - 4 discs - GONE
Saturn - 6 discs - GONE
PS1 - about 20 discs  - GONE
Dreamcast - about 25 discs - GONE

I may end up finding others around here and adding to those.

P.O.W. - Prisoners of War JP

edit (on February 12th, 2009): Updated links here, as the address to the story has not been valid for a while now. Link to the HTML story and images have been updated. No stardogchampion1990, you will not be forgotten by myself anytime soon, and may everyone eternally know what kind of shit you are full of.

UPDATE: What was originally going to be here I have changed over to HTML.

http://webpages.charter.net/quoth09/supercd.htm

read and enjoy.

If someone cares to take that and convert it into BB format, and actually get it properly split apart for reading on here without any edits, knock yourself out. I got tired of fighting with it.

---------------------------------------------

I attempted to put this story up, but due to some stupid posting size limit on here, it won't let me. So until this damn board thing is situated this post is on hiatus. I have even tried splitting it up into multiple posts, and I keep on getting a 403 error with Cotton, which is just pissing me off.

Aaron, contact me so I can either have you post this whole thing, or so I can, because I'm tired of seeing Cotton.
Seriously. This is a long post, and I'm sure this is some kickback for post size, but still, it's annoying.

Off-Topic / Cereals that suck...

I will start the thread with this one...

They're ASSSSSS! ...and I will never buy another box of it again!
Too damn hard, and they taste funny.
Not good at all.

I was looking for a certain member earlier, and while going through the members list, I noticed something:

1215 total members

But yet, look at all the accounts that have 0 posts, 1 post, or less than 10 for that matter, and all the accounts that haven't been used in a year or more.

It honestly makes me wonder what the actual active percentage # is, of members that have used their accounts in the last year or sooner?

Just a random question here, even though it's not much of a nuisance, but just wondering why accounts don't get purged on here? There really isn't need to have a person's account on here if they haven't posted or been active in over a couple of years.

Anyone else notice this? I couldn't find a previous thread about the issue.

Everything is up on eBay now, that I am going to sell at the moment, with the exception of:
The Bouncer PS2 Soundtrack and Yobo Famiclone - Those are still available, as is the free stuff. What isn't up on eBay is being held for other people, or has been taken to a local used game store for credit. After all this stuff is over, I will be selling some more stuff (Turbo related), but that won't be for another couple of weeks at least afterwards. Either way, if anyone wants any combined shipping rates on anything here, feel free to contact me via PM or through eBay. Also, anyone that wins anything off of there, please be patient with me, as it is going to be hell on me trying to get everything packed, sending emails out and sorting everything out here. It's almost 60 auctions, which I don't do every week, and is by no means a small amount of items.

eBay link:
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZquoth09

So Bid, Bid, Bid!  :P

Oh, and my music CDs are still available on discogs (at the bottom of this post)

------------------------------

All photo links below removed, as they no longer work, and higher quality ones are on the auction pages.

Update - Feb 11th: Added some Sega Genesis/Megadrive/32X + Sega CD games.

Update - Feb 6th: added 3 more guides, a YOBO FC Game Console (Famiclone), a new JVC (Victor Japan) Component Switchbox (model JX-S111), and new Resident Evil Nemesis action figure.
-----------------

List is below, but read this stuff first.
I'm not listing prices, so make me offers. Everything is open to sale or trade. I prefer to take Paypal for payments.
I hold stuff a max of 1 day unless you are doing a trade with me. When I get payment is when the item is no longer available. As far as shipping goes, I send stuff anywhere, but overseas gets tracking #'s, and buyer pays for all shipping fees.

Concerns that I am new here? I have an e-Bay account under my same name, with over 700 feedback, and I have been on there since 1998. Paypal account has over 308 verified buyers. Also, I have dealt with D-Lite a couple of times before.
Also, Michael knows me personally, and has talked about me on here probably too many times than I care to be talked about anywhere.
Not to mention, I have been in the chat box talking to people randomly as well.

Stuff I am interested in for trade (US or JP versions): Arcade stuff, Saturn, PS1, PS2, PC Engine/TG16/SuperGrafx, PC stuff, Megadrive, etc. - Contact me with what you are interested in, as well as what you are willing to trade. I'm mainly looking for complete stuff, so please don't waste my time offering to trade me a bunch of loose hu-cards/discs/carts. About the only thing I will take that is not complete is arcade stuff, which obviously is different. Also, on any trades, the person initiating the trade sends off first. All trades must have a tracking # or something similar sent to me within 3 days of item being held, otherwise it comes off of hold. Not being rude here, but I'm not here to hold stuff for a week or longer for no reason. I just want to get rid of this stuff so I can get stuff I want, not hold on to it.

Notes: On my pristine used games, when I say outer wrap still on it, it means that the wrap has been sliced on the side or the bottom, and the put back on the case afterwards. Also, the 'rip strip' as I call it, is the white strip on the top of music CDs and PS1 games (other systems as well). On used games where I say the 'Rip Strip' is still in place, means that it is still on the case untouched and fully intact, as if the game were opened new. I take EXCELLENT care of my stuff, and these are just simple efforts on my part to do so. No cracks on any case also, and on all the new stuff, discs are not rattling around.

Enough talk, on to the list and photos (if you want more photos of something, just ask):

Turbo CD/DUO:

SOLD TO 'The Old Rover' : Riot Zone -- Complete. Minor scratches on the disc, but it plays fine all the way to the end. Manual has some minor wear, but no rips/tears/etc.

Arcade Boards and Related:

The Main Event - JAMMA Wrestling game by Konami. Has had Audio Pot repaired. Works perfect.

Ikari Warriors - non-JAMMA. Has had modding done to wire up the Audio and Video to a JAMMA style add-on board, but controls have not been wired up. This uses a track ball or rotary joystick and I don't have one to use on it, so I didn't bother wiring up that portion. As such, sold AS-IS, though it is working and powers up no problem.
