The PCE was great to get into, but everybody wanted to play Mario and Sonic. It was the kiddies they were gunning for. The PCE is basically no differtn then the X-box. You had a fan of NEC/Microsoft fans and that sums it up. The TG16 was a pain because it looks like an Atari on steriods, even the controller ports are buffed out. Does that make any sense at all? Also everybody was doing the Mario.

NEC vs Sony doesn't even make sense. lol. esp from a manufacturer pricepoint, Sony just didn't have the user base back then.

NEC and Sony ( along with Hatchi and their waterfall font ), are Japans debut electronic companies. NEC is the biggest as of now, I believe. Sony made the MSX computers, the sound chip in the snes, as well. Nintendo also viewed them as a competitor back the 1980's. While NEC did invest into the HudsonSoft they also made televisions, computes, and various parts.

Cool!  Now that's random!  Those are all DB characters, but I can't place all of them.

I was just pointing it out since when people think akira toriyama it's usely dbz in the u.s 

It is mostly Dr, Slump. All of his original characters exsist in the original Dragon Comic line-up. Yamcha was the standard hero type,
and Bulma was the annoying girl in distress, type. Goku is your usually young adult type. Slump is dipicted as Master Vega, and Cammy is the robot-girl. The Guile is the shop keeper ( the bulma type ), and so forth. Their is a whole slew of comics that came before ( or while ) Dragon Balls, that we will probably never see be used for a long time. Chobits is one of them, along with Chorno Trigger. The same with Devil-Man??? ( whatever his name is ).

Dragon Ball only changed when Z-extended the characters life. Kirllion is officially the standard human height, anybody taller then that is an over
extreme character type. Goku is like 12-15 or something while Bulma is like 16-19. So forth. It is like pokemon, where they took away Jessies Bust, and
the jokes that came with it.......Speaking of which go play Linda 3.

Damn the NEC/Hudson/red thought of everything. That looks like an old school portable computer, all that it is missing, is the drive input. In fact, that is all that is missing from that setup, I bet their is a way to convert to a fully working computer. I could be camping, and be like... never fear we got PCE. 



What is even more funnier is how the screen display, was a fully color display, compared to the above computer, which was sold into the mid 1990's.

NEC had to create, the forsaken Supegrafx, and the rest of the Jackie Chan Gang.

The Laser Active was just a LD rom player, I am sure their are better LD roms out their? However we will have to do this by random. How many LD-rom games
was produced? In fact the same only LD-rom official game, was ported to CD and the
GBC. Then their is only one official LD-rom game system. Another cheap direction of
game design.

Maybe they think you are trying make something for the X-box. Just tell them to try and write it as an audio disc, and send a test copy back to you. If they could do so I wouldn't give them mind about the context. I am pretty sure in a command line world, this damn thing would read as an audio file, if it was 1984.

Yes it is a tourist thing. The moment a person see that bright yellow and long nose, they will say, hey sponge bob!!. Then you go in and, you say "heyyyy sponge bob" and the salesperson nods their head and say "hai, goy-u-gama, Sponge!!-bob" Then the giant sponge bob comes out of nowhere with a super famicom, challenging you to a fight.

Hey look they have all kinds, of game consoles, all of them with this little slot.

It has to do with personal preference.

I havent judged from box art in a long long time. Usually games with lots of love inside them, have reasonable box arts, that gives a reasonable description.

You have to understand that one set of people consider games to be like books, film, and other important media.
While others considered it a toy that is a waste of time.
But all of them are reasonable, and talks to different audience.



Take uhm...drop rock hora hora, it is nice imagery, encouraging the player to finish the game. Meaning the
player really wants to finish this game.

rather then having something like Hatris, which clearly has nothing to do with anything. It is just a bunch of hat shaped objects.
