suicide is a crime which is punished with death penalty. so better think twice before perform it.

Show posts MenuQuote from: guest on 07/07/2014, 10:48 PMas he states in his very auction, this is a raw rom directly drag 'n' drop from a developers PC from the former developement team at UNI Post to a CD-R, and is fully playable to the very end.Quote from: Tatsujin on 07/06/2014, 08:05 PMas he states in his auction, it would have to be modified to run on actual hardware right of the batch. but that is regarded the CR-R iso. it might work if put on an actual flash rom, as the rom also seem to run in an emulator.I just hope that it is the real PC Engine game and not an approximation whipped up by someone to make a quick buck.
but even if not, i'm certain that most of our dev peeps here could convert this into a playable rom in no time.
would be even nice as an obeybrew huey release.
I guess soon or later the rom will appear somewhere in the net anyway. hopefully.
Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 07/07/2014, 12:27 AMit was also playable on the c64 hardware years before the NES ;)Quote from: guest on 07/07/2014, 12:13 AMElite PAL NES EnglishYES! Such an awesome game. The fact that it's even playable on that hardware is incredible.
Quote~私自身の入手経路~ 昔のプログラマチームメンバーのパソコンからでコピーした、CD-Rです。he himself took the copy of an old PC from a former programmer team member and put it on a cd-r = 2000 bucks worth!!

Quote from: HailingTheThings on 06/29/2014, 06:41 PMNice episode!certainly not. when it comes to gameplay, it's a 120% perfect game. all its successors are not.Quote from: Tatsujin on 06/29/2014, 05:03 AMthe 1st guilty gear for ps1 is still the best of all of 'emI hope you're kidding. :3
Quote from: guest on 06/29/2014, 10:15 AMwell, the 4Mbit have nothing to do with its technical execution. and they reflect just very well, how poor 1943 kai is, when it comes to graphical details and over and over looped BGs/tiles etc.Quote from: guest on 06/28/2014, 11:13 PMSorry I really do mean 1943. Tons of enemies and parallax, with lots of bullets all at once, with no slowdown except for 2 seconds for literally one time. Also some gigantic bosses, though there is flicker.Quote from: guest on 06/28/2014, 09:51 PM1943 kai is ridiculously impressive, but not well known. You're thinking of 1941 Counter Attack. But both are well known.
Also, half serious about bravo man.
And this was all with 4 Megs.
And I will also add Darius plus. That conversion floored me, and they still added extra bosses.
But 1941 was proof that the Supergrafx needed to live longer though.
Quote from: guest on 06/28/2014, 11:13 PMyeah, 1943 kai is anything else than impressive for PCE standards.Quote from: guest on 06/28/2014, 09:51 PM1943 kai is ridiculously impressive, but not well known. You're thinking of 1941 Counter Attack. But both are well known.

Quote from: guest on 06/26/2014, 05:31 PMthat shit worked way longer than initially expected/it was designed for.Quote from: guest on 06/26/2014, 05:05 PMA great console that was plagued with high defect rates in the earlier revisions? In that case yes.Caps failing 20 years later is not a defect.
Quote from: guest on 06/26/2014, 11:44 AM"there weren't very many controller variations"WORD!!!
Compared to what? I can think of at least fifteen different first party controllers.
