On the off chance you are lurking here:
Per your message sent to me on Sega 16:
2. Your wife was an ebay noob who I guess thought she was going to be able to over charge on shipping for multiple items.
3. The items did not arrive as described, which was the main problem. "Confirmed tested 100%" means shit works on first try, and works every time. The games arrived and required excessive cleaning before they would work. Also, they arrive in good condition. They don't arrive with cracks in the back of the casing, or with peeling labels (which was an issue with Batman and Thunderforce II).

Quote from: stellarolaHey Michael,1. It is not proper to message my friends on other forums in order to reach me. If you have an issue with me over an ebay purchase, you fucking message me directly via ebay, where the transaction took place, or via fucking email. You don't contact my personal friends via email, forum, phone, etc, nor try to reach me on gaming forums I hardly ever log in to, let alone any gaming forum at all.
My name is Ben and you recently bought some games of mine that my wife listed on her ebay account, 'aquamango17'. She just recently started selling on eBay and it appears you left two negs and one neutral. She's pretty upset to say the least. What exactly happened?
Thanks,
Ben

QuoteMy friend Will stopped by to do some platooning with me this morning on World of Tanks and do some forum lurking and showed me you messaged him on the Neo forums about a purchase I made on ebay.....
Concerning the purchase from your wife, per the tone of her reply, she was evidently slightly irked I asked for a combined rate for winning multiple items. Per the original invoice sent to me, no way in hell would I pay $8.42 to have three Mega Drive carts shipped to me via First Class Mail in a plain bubble mailer, so yeah, I am going to ask for a fair rate. She did charge a fair rate on a revised invoice, but the fact she was irked I asked for one was an issue, let alone the fact I even had to actually ask to begin with.
And the items did not arrive as described, which was the major issue. Getting the carts to work was problematic, especially in the case of Batman and Street Smart. They required excessive cleaning. Street Smart had a crack in the back of the cart also. The main artwork/title labels were also peeling in the back of Batman and Thunderforce. This was not listed in the auction details.
Also, just as a personal note, I had made it a point to mention out the excessive shipping she was charging on her Ys III MD cart, mainly because I wanted to bid but the shipping was listed as too high. That was the main reason why I did not bid on it. Ebay does not care for people trying to skirt seller fees by overcharging on shipping. I checked back to see if she corrected the amount when she relisted, and she did not. TBH, after years of being on ebay, I am tired of seeing new people sign up and deliver shit not as described, or try to profit off of shipping cost. The fact that this shit was pointed out to her and she decided to continue on with the rip off'ish like shipping charge shit told me all I needed to know about the character of the seller
On this particular issue though, the actual purchase, the items I purchased that did not arrive as described, honestly I did not care to waste the energy pursuing a ebay dispute over the damaged cart or bicker over the whole AS-IS mess if she decided to fight a dispute, along with dealing with a return over afew bucks. The refund amount would not be worth the hassle, and the auctions were listed in bold as "AS-IS", which I guess was a warning sign that things may not actually be as described. My bad for ignoring the warning signs. At any rate, I left my feedback and moved on. I prefer to pick my battles, and this one was not worth $5.

Pretty much all I have to say on the matter. Your wife got the feedback that fit the situation, and be thankful I don't care to fucking call ebay trust and safety today and inform them that she was having you contact my friend Will over her ebay issues. I am pretty sure that would earn her an instant ban on her account. You want to reach me about an ebay purchase, you do it directly via ebay message system, or the email linked to the payment. You don't contact my personal friends on gaming forums about purchases that do not concern them, nor drop pm's to me on forums I am hardly on.
