As always, I'm impressed looking forward to this and if PCe star sherrif ever gets released.
#2
Any word on him releasing to you guys the xak3 and SO2 games? Just curious.
#3
The PCB is very thick by default, so is mine.
#4
this was sold last week. for $17.99 plus shipping.
#5
I was out of town on business. responding now. Thanks.
#6
still available, if anyone is interested.
#7
Really impressive. You guys always make me wish I did more coding.
#8
yea, I think mine was $35 shipped from Japan to US. I love it. It was "CIB".
#10

for me it's all about the manual. I like a good manual. PICTURES!
#12
still have. I would like to sell locally in the US. I've had some issues with "items not getting to" Canada, UK or Mexico.
#14
I believe all his work has stopped on any project, if I recall.
#16
slight bump. Still have.

Quote from: CatPix on 12/14/2015, 06:53 PMHe mentionned a Duo-R, so I supose unless he own a PC Engine aside, he won't have any use for a Tennokoe II.
Smart man, yes that's true.
#18
did I miss the PCE Duo-R doors? or are those not being made yet?
#20
to be honest, depending on what it needs, you're probably better off getting a working one. That's what happened to me and my AES, I ended up spending more money on shipping and repairs I couldn't do that made the "junk" buy worthless. However, my Pc-Engine DUO-R that was junk, ended up just needing some solder joints repaired on the power, AV and controller ports.

Quote from: EmperorIng on 12/16/2015, 12:30 AMRenny Blaster should be excluded because labeling it as a "best of Japan" is an insult to Japan.
Is it really that bad of a game???
I like that game, but I will be honest MANY Pc Engine brawlers do not have very tight controls. Even Bonk I don't feel is very tight for such a regarded game. To me soldier blade has the best controls of any pc engine/tg-16 game.

Waiting for a Xak3 one, but I know that's still just as sketchy as Dracula X
#23
Damn, I was always hoping this would get released. I even spoke to someone on the facebook page which said a demo release would be given out, but I never saw it.
#24
Duo-R... Enough said :)
#25
If he has skills, tell him to buy a broken one. If not, go the duo-r route with a everdrive.
#26
Open the "guy" up and let's see.

I was honestly hoping for more responses based on facts, sorry to say. I've been slowly replacing all the batteries of devices I'm using, Neo Geo Memory card, NES or SNES batteries, etc. I'd rather not lose my saves. I've got a few larger games which require the Tennokoe Bank functionality to save to from my DUO-R. I just rotate what Bank is currently on my DUO-R. My plan is just to use a tabbed CR2032 and wire to the two pads using thin wire and then "Tape" the cover back on.
#28
Any chance for his other discs? Xak III or SOII or the caravan shooters? I know the first two are translated, but since drac was done, I thought I should ask.
#29
I need to replace the battery on my bank. I really don't want to have to buy "another" Tennokoe Bank to move games over to and then replace the battery on mine.

Is there a way to keep it powered up and retain saves, i.e. If I have the card plugged in and the system powered on, can I de-solder the battery and install the new one? I would obviously have to remove the "Shield" before inserting the hucard.

I haven't seen anywhere with this question specifically or an answer. I know some people do this with SNES games.

Any ideas let me know.

Quote from: kiketonto on 11/25/2015, 05:47 AMHi! I'm interested in just two games, Shadowgate & Isles of terra, but I live in Spain.
It's possible to shipping here?
I think they are sold out now of those releases.

Quote from: SignOfZeta on 11/24/2015, 10:00 PMNot legible as in the print is not readable? I'd say that was pretty far from retail-grade, the final inspection process at least.
Are you asking me or confirming similar quality on yours?

*AGAIN, not bitching, just identifying that printing so many of these, the ink may have ran out lol*
#33
Quote from: guest on 11/24/2015, 06:35 PMI can say that the quality is comparable to the real deal.  Senor BRAAAAP hooked me up with a Drac X manual at MGC and it is muy bien!
I'm not complaining, but I will say that a few of the pages from the three that I got were not legible. So, nice YES!, but equal to that of a retail version? Not so much. Still a nice product though.

Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag - PC-Engine
Bloody Wolf - Turbografx 16

I've done a ultra spectral analysis of my discs and they shoe no signs of being "loved" by Bernie, does that make mine more rare ;-p
#37
Question, why are the inserts for "super cd" and not black like other US releases? Just curious.
#38
I would need a wait DUO-R door for sure. Nice work.

This was an awesome resource for me, when I was looking up stuff.

Quote from: wyndcrosser on 10/30/2015, 11:18 AMMy thing is the circular SNES design, which doesn't cramp my hands. I played Ys III for like 3 hours last night and I didn't want to cut my hands off.
I've cleared that game a dozen times over the years, never had a problem with controllers. This is a game where you don't even have to press "attack". I could easily play it for many hours with probably any controller, even 3DO. It sounds like you need physical/mental therapy or something. The standard  PCE pad isn't perfect, but it's rare for anyone to complain about it unless they have hooks for hands. Do you have hooks for hands? Is all this too late? How long have you been struggling with issues of self harm?
That would be something we call "an over exaggeration", but here I can help you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exaggeration it even has pictures.

I love this controller. The white pc engine controller killed my hands when playing Ys I and II, but this controller definitely changed how I look at PC Engine now. I wish I had it earlier.

anyone interested? price debatable
#47
My Obey say was when I wanted to play soldier blade on a near console. I couldn't justify paying $450 (well I couldn't justify to my wife) for a Turbo Duo. I found a Duo PC-Engine that was "Broken". After about three weeks I finally got it and really the only thing wrong was a dirty lens and loss connections which were de-soldered and then reattached. The machine is still working today (it's been 3 years).

(* = I approve of this statement. Dude is cool.)"
#49
Yea I like to play as I translate, it helps me verify thst I'm making the story fit the atmosphere etc. I usually text dump but I use a table entry for like hex code 00fd=st, so I know when text starts etc or end or if there's a line break. I'm working on cool cool jam for NGPC now.

I would have killed for an auto turbo feature for the last boss in Ys II, that guy was a pain. I tried to level up so I could do more damage, but anywhere I went i would only get about 5-10 exp per kill. I think I beat it at lv 61, which was higher than the "recommended" level of 55.
