Just curious, what's the toughest PC Engine/CD game you've played? It's hard to say for me, personally, Saigo no Nindou (Ninja Spirit) is pretty tough but I wouldn't call it -the- hardest PCE game I'd played. I'll be able to answer my own question later when I'm not so tired, haha.

General Gaming / Solstice & Equinox
01/19/2014, 06:10 AM
For those that don't know, Solstice is an NES game and Equinox is its sequel also known as Solstice II (who'da thunk it!!), both are isometric platform/puzzle games that're quite difficult, if you've never played either, go check 'em out, worth it.

Anyone ever play these? I've never beaten Solstice and I really don't know if I'll ever be able to  :-k However I've been working on Equinox lately and I'm at the Ghost Ship, I think it's one stage before the final, I love it, as well as Solstice. Anyone ever beat these, enjoy 'em? Certainly some pretty awesome hidden gems on both consoles, not really anything like these. Anybody know of anything like these that I should check out?

Fighting Street / Soooo
01/16/2014, 10:25 PM
Uhhh.. I'm bored and felt like starting conversation and getting into my own personal stuff a bit, wondered if anyone shared, I'd like to keep the outside and common opinion of ITS BAD IT KILLS U cause it doesn't and it's proven it doesn't and I'll gladly prove it doesn't; considering, at least here in the states and in multiple, including the one I live in, it's legal: does anyone here partake in a little of the.. pow-wow? Smoke sesh? Hotboxin'? Tokin' it up? Getting Chinese eyes, as Cheech would put it? SMOKIN' THE GREEN? I find it enhances my gameplay abilities pretty well, thanks to focus!  :-"

Just curious, not sure if this is something a little too taboo for here or not.

PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / RPGs
01/15/2014, 09:00 PM
I just had a quick question, were there ever any RPGs in the light of the original Dragon Quest games (Dragon Quest I-IV mostly) on TG/PCE? I really enjoy that old charm RPGs from that time period have and really haven't stumbled across any similar games on the console. Gotta say, the RPGs I've found on it are pretty awesome, though.

Off-Topic / Arcade Pad on the Way
01/15/2014, 08:46 PM
Just thought I'd show off a little here, my best friend's boyfriend ordered me something I've been wanting that plugs in via USB, I can go to town on all my Neo*Geo and MAME emulation now! It also works with PS3 from my understanding, so when I get one of those I'll be able to further enjoy the library of fighters on it.

NEC Console Resource / Newbie
01/12/2014, 09:35 PM
Hey all, first day on the forums here. I've been a TG/PCE fan for quite awhile and only recently started to truly dive into the library, soon here I plan to pick up a PCE Duo as soon as I have the appropriate funds to do so and start collecting for it! I've certainly played quite a bit for it though and loved every minute of it, I learn something new about the console everyday. Name's Yoyo, or Mikey if you like, hard to say what my favorite PCE game is as I haven't explored too much of the library yet, but I do know my favorite game overall of all consoles is Super Mario Bros. 3 (basic, so sue me!!) aaand.. That's about all I can think of haha. Nice to be here and meet you all. :)
