I'm writing this to warn everyone of a very low life individual. He will try to sell you rare games like Magical Chase for Turbografx 16 for low prices. He will then give you the addresses below or try and meet you in a public space like Safeway (So, you'd have no way to test game your getting and be stuck with broken merchandise). If you ask to test the game, he will scout you out in his apartment complex parking lot to see if you're alone and try to rob you if you're indeed ALONE. He is a black individual with a suspected Mexican accomplice and has many stolen goods and is desperate for money. DO NOT engage with this individual as from my research he is already a felon and could be in a gang that will rob you blind. I'm already compiling evidence to send to the local police department to try a thwart this low life from robbing or screwing over anyone else. ALL information I have on this individual is listed below. Thank you. Photo's of item he used to lure me to site are included.

He will also tell you that he lives in the area code (95660) or North Highlands.

I'm looking for a reasonably priced copy of Lords of Thunder.  I'm kicking myself because I had a copy, but somehow I lost it when I moved.  

Condition is not that important as long as it works.  I would like a complete copy however, disc only or disc with manual is fine.  Or if you have the Japanese version (Winds of Thunder) for sale, please let me know as well.

The number of copies for sale seems sparse for what I thought was a common game.  What's a fair price for this game now days?

Hi Everyone,
My wife and I are having another baby soon, so time to sell a few items to make room.

Price: $170 + shipping.   Should be around $20 depending on shipping method and location. 

For sale is a PC Engine CDrom Briefcase set that I have owned for many years.  I've recently installed/replaced the middle gear with 'Keith Courage' single gear replacement.  It is a bit louder than the original gear.  I've played/finished a number of games with the new gear and everything works perfectly...Original CD games load and play music with no problems.  I don't do CDRs so I can't tell you if they work or not.  Core Grafx is not modded and will only play Japanese Hucards.  Other than the gear being replaced, no other mods or repairs have be done.  Also, please note: Super CD and Arcade CD games will not play with the 2.1 System Card. 
 
System has scuffs/scratches, with some yellowing/discoloration but overall in good condition for being 20+ years old.  One latch on the cover is yellowed.  All buttons, lights, connectors, levers, lids, switches are in working order.  Game saves working.  The controller has some nicks, scratches and corner chips.  Hucard game is in great condition.  Manual has creases, case has scuffs and sleeves are not original.  Discman is in good working condition but the battery compartment has some corrosion.

Pretty rare Turbo item and I was always curious to know how much a Vistar would sell for.  Pretty pricey starting bid price unfortunately. 

Anyone know what a Vistar has sold for in the past?  Of course I haven't been actively looking, but I can't recall ever seeing one for sale before.

[PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / RAU-30 Rubber Caps/Feet?]

I recently set up my SuperGrafx with a briefcase CDrom2 and can't figure out what the pair of black rubber caps that came with the RAU-30 adapter are used for ?  I'm sure the answer is obvious but just not to me.   I googled and searched here but didn't find an answer.  Also, the instructions don't illustrate anything and I don't read Japanese.  Thanks in advance.

[Console Repair/Mod Center / RAU-30 adapter]

I recently picked up a RAU-30 cable/adapter and I'm not quite sure if it's working properly.  Unfortunately I don't have a Supergrafx system yet.  I'm using the RAU-30 in between my briefcase CDrom system and a white PCE console to test it. 

What I get is only stereo audio and no video out of the briefcase interface output.  Is there supposed to be video from the interface out?

[Console Repair/Mod Center / Help with my PCE CD Rom -- Not Loading Games or Audio CDs]

Hello Everyone,

I have a PCE CD Rom with a core grafx system.  Worked perfectly before, but I haven't used it or turned on the system for about 7 years. 

Just today I turned it on and tried to load a game but didn't spin the disc. I open the CD rom unit and found that the gears were frozen so I lubed up all the gear and got the disc to spin normally.  Both motors seem to work fine and all the gears are good. 

The problem now is that any real game or audio CD will not load.  Seems to spin the disc normally but never loads or gives any error on the TV screen.  Audio CDs will only show "0" on the unit. I opened the lid with the lid switch pressed and the laser eye still moves up and down and I can see red light from the laser eye. 

Bad laser? Can lasers go out just from sitting too long?  Any other suggestions on what to look for or check?

-$50 priority shipped: Turbo Grafx 16 system with 3 games.  System is in good condition with some very minor scratches and scuffs.  Comes with 1 controller, rear system cover, sega power adapter(non-original but works great), Nintendo RF switch, and 3 complete games: Double Dungeons, Jack Nicklaus Golf, and Keith Courage in Alpha Zone.  All games are complete with case, instructions, and HuCard slip covers.  Golf has a crack on the front of the case.  Everything in this set works perfectly.

Not sure if the google translation/definition is correct but the translated description says it's a prototype.  All the usual markings and lettering on the unit is missing.  Anything special or different if this is a prototype?

[Console Repair/Mod Center / Latches for TG16-CD Case]

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know were to get replacement latches for the big TG16-CD plastic case?  I bought a case that doesn't have the latches.  They look to be the same as the PC Engine CD-rom2 brief case latches but just a different color. 

Or does anyone have any recommendations to modify or fabricate latches to work from something else?
