12/23/2024: Localization News - Team Innocent

PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable.

Wow, sounds like a great idea!  If it was a purely plug and play deal I might be interested...

Oh man toads and double dragon is awesome...  although I've only played it on the NES.  Sounds like you got a total score yourself!

Is this still on, or is it gonna be axed due to glitches with netplay?

Wind, when is this going to happen?  Remember I am going to be in Vegas next week.  I DO want to play though.

I'll definetely get this set up soon!!

I've had ONE interaction with them, and it was recent actually.  Ordered a new, ginuine Turbografx-16 A/C adapter from them for 15 bucks shipped.  I thought that was cheaper than a universal.  And I got it here in Alaska after maybe only a week.  So they were 1/1 for me.  Sounds like they've pissed a lot of other people off too.

Maybe someone else will step in and name it something else and manage it better.

Don't have much of a collection really, but I guess it would be my copy of Soldier Blade (loose)

Yeah that game is definetly for space cadets, but judging by your avatar you should have no problem playing it  LOL..
The graphics are just horrible in my opinion..

Yeah I really want to, but the multitap has issues, it is currently apart and I am trying to diagnose the issue..  if I can't fix it I'll just get another one..

He also said he had another multiplayer game called Motor Roader or something like that, said it was a blast, but he can't find that at the moment..

True, I asked him about that, why he just doesnt sell it...  but he said that his family didnt believe in taking money for used stuff (unless it's like a car or something)...  he said that they don't have garage sales or anything, if they don't want something anymore, they give it away to friends, family, or charity.

thanks for the warm welcome guys!!

Yeah he's a real cool guy.  He said that the TG was all that he played when he was in the AF.  He said that these games/systems have been with him all over the world!  Pretty cool.  He said that the Turbotap was abused like no other!

He also said that he's got the CDROM for it somewhere in his house, if he finds it or runs onto it he's gonna hand that over too.

I thanked him many times over.  And yes, I plan to make it up to him somehow.  (he doesnt drink much or eat beef so no steak)...

Some pictures of some of the rest of my collection (note: no picture of the Atari+games, and many of my consoles)
I also have about 30 more PS1 games in a cd case somewhere (they are all missing the jewel cases)

I am so excited about this, I must share!

A friend of mine came over and noticed my game collection.  He asked if I had the Turbografx, and I told him that I used to own one, but not anymore, but that it would be nice to have one again.  He then told me that he had one with a bunch of games that he was going to throw away because he thought that it was just old garbage that no one would want anymore!!  I was like HELLL NOOO I'll take them!!  So he gave them to me.  I offered him some money, he declined.

He gave me a Turbografx-16 w/booster, a TurboExpress w/tv + car adapter, about 40 hucards, 6 controllers, and a turbotap..  for FREE!!!

So I took all the stuff home, wiped everything down, cleaned the pins on all the games, and basically tried to run all the games and both systems, controllers, the tap, everything to check the condition.  Everything seems to work fairly well really, I will start another thread about some of the tech problems.  Most of it are common things.

OK, here is a list of the games that I got.
Not sure which ones are rare and whatnot, I did end up with 3 dupes, so if anyone wants to trade some of their dupes for mine, that's cool.

My first Turbografx was a Turbografx 16, purchased in 92.  I didnt have many games at the time.  I owned of course Keith Courage, also had super star soldier, ninja spirit, air zonk - probably a few others I can't remember now.  Loved the system, but I was at the time a die-hard Genesis fan, and I didnt think that the games were as good as the Genesis so I sold my system/games.

I regretted that decision for about 3 years when in 95' I traded my Sega Genesis/CD for a TurboDUO.  I loved it.  Had the games it came with plus Lords of Thunder, Y's, Exile, and a few others.  I eventually sold that, because by then the Playstation was taking off, and I wanted the new system.  So I took the money and prepurchased the Playstation before it even came out so that I could get it on the first day.

Those were the last of my days cashing in my games.  So over 10 years now, I have been slowly collecting all the games that I used to have when I was younger, and never got rid of ANY of them (unless they were dupes or totally horrid).

Now I have a collection of about 350 console games to enjoy (we won't count the thousands of roms), most of them old school.  I don't currently own any of the newest gen systems (unless you count the 3 DS', but the WII sure looks tempting (only for the virtual console games).

OK, that's enough about me.
