QuoteFrom my personal collection, complete with the rare letter and protective plastic bag and in excellent condition:
All-Star Power League Gold HuCARD '88
The rarest PC Engine game ever released, only 200 made, never used on my own, bought this only for collecting purpose.
The game is rare, but seen a complete with the letter and the Hudson plastic bag is extremely rare.
I'm owner of several of the more sought after videogames on earth (Mega Drive Tetris, All Star Power League Gold Hu-Card, etc.) and you can bid with 100% confidence my items are real, I'm more than aware of chinese fakes and I assure you mine are the real deal.
Looks like our very own Thibaut was already looking at it too, based on the comments on the auction, good luck! Anyone know the story on this and why it's so expensive/rare? I've head about Darius Alpha but never this game.
EDIT:I Guess the link I provided didn't work the first time, it's been updated.
Looks like it's gone now. :(
LOL yeah.
Side deal? This was different than the one that was posted in the eBay thread?
Chris
Anyone have screenshot pics, or video of the gameplay. [-o< I would like to see.
It's basically this game:

That's not the PC-Engine version of World Class Baseball, is it? It looks awfully familiar.
It's Power League 1 from the Hudson's Power League series. Dunno how it was called in the USA.
Wow. This? http://magweasel.com/2009/06/16/i-love-the-pc-engine-power-league/ (http://magweasel.com/2009/06/16/i-love-the-pc-engine-power-league/)
roflmao
That's one expensive baseball game.
A little off topic, but he's selling some pretty expensive stuff.....MD Tetris for 1 million dollars ...

Hey, it's signed by Alexei Patzinov himself. Call it a bargain!
wow that's pretty rare that a seller would post a pic of himself he's got some crazy alana Myles/Alanis Morisette long dark curly going on hehe
also can someone tell me why the MD Tetris is so rare? obviously it is rare if Thibaut is interested hehe
Because they were all crushed when sega lost the fight vs. nintendo. Except some very few pieces which were probably saved by some sega workers back then.
Sure it is the most rare official Mega Drive game (official in terms that it was meant to be officially released) in existence and also sure one of the most thought after games in history of video games. Estimated price for a non-Alexei Patzinov- signed is above the US$15000.
oh that's right I did remember that story about how Nintendo went to Russia and got the rights for Tetris for Gameboy I just didn't know Sega actually had the game produced and made already by the time they lost the right to the game.

He should have taken the pic AFTER he signed it. Or maybe a pic of him actually signing it.

You are right. But it's kinde trustfully enough that the sign is real. Unless the curly guy on the pic is not himself for real.
.... so THAT'S what Kenny G has been up to, selling $1,000,000 video games, and.....

Outstanding article, loved it!
Maybe it's just me, but I would prefer it without the signature. And also, there is no way the signature increases the value that much.
At the end of the day, it's just another version of Tetris...
