Pretty old thread you necro'ed, and I see not much love for ole Gradius...

Because I used to beat it so much on NES along with Lifeforce, I didn't care about it on the PCE, just went for new shooters and Super Star Soldier became my favorite plus others like GoT, LoT, Nezxr: Summer Carnival '93.

I do wanna take "Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou" off my backlog some time though. It looks great.

I wasn't aware this game was in the PCE.

Now I want to check it out and see if it is better or worse then the NES port.
