Curious, I know that Gulliver was one of them, but are there others? Its kind of neat to see the duo put out fmv sequence even if its in Japanese. I know the U.S releases (don't think they are huvideo) are the Sherlock Holmes games, and It came from the Desert, but surely there is more than that?
There was a Galaxy Fraulein Yuna HuVideo Disc as well. as for games with fmv in them, John Madden Duo CD Football has some as well
There is only one HuVideo game, Gulliver Boy. The only other HuVideo thing made was the freebie 5 minute OVA included with the reprint of Yuna 1.
There are other FMV things on PCE/TG16, but they aren't technically HuVideo.
It's not a commercial release, but there's also a demo disc that had a handful of HuVideo clips on it; I'd love to have a rip of it, though less for the fmv and more for the Dr. Mario type game it had.
Thanks guys! Its a shame we haven't seen a translation of Gulliver Boy for the PCE, but I'll create another thread for that one ^^ It really reminded me of Lunar for the Playstation in terms of graphics.

I used to know someone a long long time ago who compared Gulliver Boy to Lunar, I didn't see as much of a resemblance. But I like Gulliver Boy, I've admittedly only played the Saturn version.

Try the PCE version with the arcade card! Like I said, it looks like an early Playstation 1 game and its something I wish someone would translate for the system instead of the super famicom version...

John Madden Duo CD Football is supposed to be using real actual HuVideo and not simply fmv.
Curious on what it would take to convert say a small avi file to a huvideo file so the duo can read it?

Ask Tom - he did some work (https://youtu.be/aRNw9ccJHS4) with HuVideo stuff.
EDIT: I'm completely retarded and didn't see the link in Necro's post.
I'd love to have more information on how exactly it works, but I can't find much of anything online. Is there any documentation out there on huvideo? I assume its decompressing into tiles, but what form of compression is it using? How taxing is it? Can you display sprites on top of huvideo fmv? How long can the clips be?
