I did get stabbed in the neck by a homeless guy in downtown Los Angeles several years ago. My only regret is that it happened on Lucas Ave, not Fighting St.

Didn't read the book but, was lucky enough to see it as a kid and get a bit traumatized with the blood and gore seen and really thought that ol' Ratchet had that strangling coming for a long time.
