Title: Maid cafe's
Post by: Nando on 05/09/2012, 04:43 PM
these weren't that hot when I was in Japan several years ago. Have any of you JP living members been to any?

Cool write up.

Maid Cafes are like the Japanese version of Hooters, but somehow less dignified.

I did meet a dude from London who worked at a "Butler Cafe" in Tokyo, for exactly 2 days and then quit. Hearing him explain in that dry British way about how baffling some of the things he was supposed to say to his air-headed clientele were was probably the funniest thing I had heard that month.
