Title: Few questions about PC-FX
Post by: Sepeh on 12/17/2005, 01:18 PM
Hi, I'm new here and I'm interested on PC-FX and I think, I'm going to buy it very soon, so I will make a few questions.

I live in Europe, so I need to get convert adapter, because in here the power AC is 220V. What converter do you recommend, is this okay: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-1v-70-14l.html ? The output is 65W, so I have wondered, is it too high?

And the second question is; Does that gamelist in the website have all the games, what have been made to the PC-FX?

I hope you can answer these questions, thanks!

Hello Sepeh and welcome to the pcengine-fx.com boards.

To answer your first question, the PC-FX uses 15W/100V, so you could even get this converter, but of course a higher wattage converter wouldn't hurt:

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-19-15-stepdown-70-eur.html

The converter that you listed looks like it only has a special plug for certain consoles, so if it doesn't have a 2-prong female plug then it won't work.

To answer your 2nd question, yes - the PC-FX World website lists ALL of the PC-FX games released.

BTW, if you are looking for a few games, I still have some for sale ;)  Check out my thread below.
