Not only am I a fan of PC Engine and TG-16 games, I also collect Atari Lynx, Sega Genesis/Megadrive, NES, and SNES games. What other vintage gaming sites do you all go to?
Although I haven't signed up yet, I do go and check out Neo-Geo.com quite often now, reading the forums and such.
Every once in a blue moon I pop in to post a topic or reply on Diehard Wolfers which is a site dedicated to the Wolf3d engine games.
Also a few Ultima related sites I check once a year for updates. :P And that's about it.
pcengine-fx.com... what more do we really need?
Sega-16
AtariAge
NintendoAge
Famicom World
SegaAge

However I think I still am a member at nintendoage, atariage, and some other sites.

Holy canoli, is there any real community over at MagicEngine these days? I remember we had a lively board a few years ago...but since then? I've only stopped there a few times in the last 5+ years...
The Magic Engine forums have basically died out. Every now and again someone posts, mainly Paul. We have been due a new ME release for over 3 years, maybe longer.. So, I'm not sure what is going on there.
I participate in the forums at the following game-related sites:
PCenginefx
Sega-16
The-MagicBox
Racketboy
I've made posts in other game sites occasionally, but do not frequent them regularly.
Yeah, Magic Engine is really dead. I check it every few weeks to see if anything is new.

Still do the contests on the site for free games and copies of ME. So at least SOMETHING is going on there.
Too bad, because I'd like to also see something further happen with Magic Engine FX as well.
This is pretty much it for me.
I take a glance at SMSpower and 3DO Zero once or twice a month and have posted about 10-20 times on each over the years. Sega8Bit is a bit too collector-ish for me.
Are there any good forums for the 32X? The board at Sega-16 doesn't get much action.
www.neo-geo.com/forums
www.arcade-hunters.com (our site)
www.Arcadeotaku.com
www.heypoorplayer.com
www.substance-tv.com
Here are the sites I follow:
PCFX
Digitpress
BenHeck forums
neo-geo.com
Sega16
Assembler forums
Gamesx.com
I'm on the following:
AtariAge
Sega-16
RF Generation (I'm a staff member there)
Digital Press
Racketboy
GameTZ
Famicom World
ASSembler Games
GameSX
NintendoAge (very occasionally)
SHUMPS Forum
SMS Power
Neo-Geo.com (I just lurk for the most part, I've only made a handful of posts there)
SHMUPS System 11 (mostly lurking hardware & trading boards)
SPLAY (small swedish gaming community born when the official forum for the swedish Super Play magazine was to be shut down along
with the magazine itself. Used to be an active poster but now I mostly lurk)
I should join more forums, but not sure which ones :-k
I visit PCECP, PCE Daisakusen!, the PC Engine Bible, Bros. Duomazov, Video Game Den, and the alternate pcefx.
3rd for Racketboy! But with my current job, all I have time for is PCFX nowdays.
I used to have 3-4 hours a night of being "on call"...in which I was never called so I had tons of time to peruse forums like Shoruyken, Shmups, Arcade Otaku, Sega Naomi and Aussie Arcade.

I'm picking up a trend here... hmmmmmmmm....
I sometimes go to AtariAge, and then stop going for a month or so
Same with Lemon64, and Amiga.org
other than that, I don't go anywhere.
All the other forums are retarded
As far as forums go it's either Neo-Geo.com, Digitpress.com, or Racketboy. Honestly, the goons at NG.com prevent any long term stay, especially for new members.
pcenginefx, assemblergames, sega-16, blizzard forums, and atariage
I used to be on digitpress but I didn't like a few people there and left.
I used to be on TSR's NES forum but it vanished many years ago.
Just this one, baby. Just this one.
Vintage? Mainly here, but I do visit DP, GameTZ and CGCC. I also visit RetroWare TV for video's, AVGN, and Turbo Views (of course).
I also try to school the younger kids over on TrophiesonPSN on the fine retro-gaming experience. It's a 'now' generation PS3 trophy website where I act as an Admin.

PCFX is my digital home. There is no need for me to go anywhere else really. :)

Agreed! I do 95%+ of my forum time here.

I have forgotten the passwords for all the other game forums I've tried over the last decade.
I simply don't have time to be an active participant in more than 1-2 places.
:pcgs:
I spent 98% of my time at the GameFAQ's forums for the past three years. Good times. My username is "Vapid".
In no particular order other than alphabetical...
The Cover Project (a little)
Digital Press (a little)
GameFAQs
Nintendo Age
Pcenginefx (of course)
Sega Age (a very little)
Super Adventures in Gaming (I follow this blog.)
I lurk at a few other forums/blog sites occasionally.
Digitalpress
NintendoAge
pcenginefx
ccjvq.com This is the Quebec video game colector club site (Site is in french but most of the members are bilingual)
Surprises me that nobody else visits retrogamer.net. It's pretty good over there and highly informative. Some of the folks are a bit too serious, and ZERO turbo talk, but good none the less.
Does anybody ever pick up the magazine?

I wish I knew what happened to Insert Credit. Their site used to be full of excellently written reviews. Now they don't have anything worth reading.

To be honest though PCEFX trumps all these by a country mile. If I've only got time for one, this is home. Doesn't hurt that I know a ton of people from here in real life.
For a sec I read "gambling sites"!
i'm a member of most, but this is really the only place i frequent.
all others are pretty much there for troubleshooting and buying/selling.
