This PC Engine Duo RX comes as pictured, with AC adaptor, pad and box with styrofoam inserts.
I had it modified by D-Lite to include a region switch, s-video out, composite out, stereo out jacks and a blue led. The blue led sits behind the original red CD search light, so the window shines blue when powered on and the center glows red when spinning CDs. The region switch button works the same as it always has: it pushes in fine, but to release it you have to tap it several times till it un-hooks. I replaced the laser at one point and it has no trouble reading authentic CD games.
The system began having trouble running HuCard games a while back and it got worse until it pretty much won't boot them at all now. It still plays CD-ROM2 and SUPER CD games fine though.

Hmmm, very interested. I'm waiting to hear back from another member about a Duo R, but if I don't get a response by the time I get off work tomorrow, I definitely want this.
Sorry, but what's the diff b/t the R and RX again?

RX has a different logo, unique PC-FX style pad and a purple CD door button.

Oh man, that box is so pretty...I wish my Duo-R had a box! I've not yet seen an RX box, so that's very cool.
