I dunno if it's because I have a good memory for that sort of thing, but all I have to do is read mention of a game, and often, about 15 minutes later, I'll realise I've been playing the tune in my head for god knows how long. Today alone so far, it's happened with Street Fighter II' (Ryu's stage) and two stages from PC Kid 2, the first stage and the wonky sounding stage.
Is it just me, or can you literally play the whole thing like and an MP3?
this happens everytime I read a post here (unless i havn't played the game or heard the music yet) I kind alike it
all the fuckin time.
like now.
I often get tunes from metroid, rescue rangers, guardian legend, star tropics, bonk's revenge, magical chase, and dragon slayer stuck in my head. I love video game music, mabye way to much LOL.

Quite often, now how many times do you repeat/say game dialog or spoken voices from games?
Got the wife and kids in the car all ready for a road trip:
"Arms and Installation Complete, Good Luck."
Pass thru a Yellow light just before it hits red:
"Time BONER!"
All the fucking time........
Me too, Josh. My personal favorite is to tell bitches "Sorry, this happens to be my hobby." right before I show 'em the back of my hand.
I always thought it's "arm installation's complete, good luck!" ;)
I often use the "boomtschboomtschboomtsch, stage clear" from got.
Also reminds me of the delorean taking of to another time :)
The song in the intro of blazing lazers and ninja spirit are always playing in my head...
All the damn time since I was 8.
I don't think a day goes by where I don't load up a .hes, .nsf, .rsn or .vgz in winamp and enjoy it for a while.
every day while i'm at work.
in particular, the theme to Killer Instinct drills into my head.
(1) I certainly have chiptunes percolating in my gray matter. It'll shift from "all-time-faves" (Iron Tank NES, Double Dragon NES) to whatever games I have been playing recently (Hatris).
(2) Sadly, I still say "Get over here!" a la Scorpion(?) from MK. SAD BUT TRUE.
(3) I also re-enact some classic dialogue from cinema scenes ("Mr. Garcia, how is the work on your ultimate weapon, Indra, coming along?")
(4) When I drive at night I pretend I'm playing Rad Racer.

Nice! I do the same thing during the day with Outrun! Lol
I have Streets of Rage II stuck in my head as we speak.

YUPZ. Ballblazer, mother!
CURRENT CHIPTUNES IN BRAIN:(1) Atomic Robo Kid Special (PCE). Not all the tunes, but some of them, are in my gray matter.
(2) Galaga '88 (my daughter loves Galaga, in general, but is playing the PCE version recently).

DORAEMON - NOBITA'S DORABIAN NIGHT (http://www.pcengine.co.uk/HTML_Games/Doraemon_II.htm) gets stuck in my head ever so often.
Thanks, Tats, for those awesome images!
I listen to chiptunes (usually TG/PCE-based) all the time. So naturally, they are constantly running through my head. :) Lately I've been listening to PC Engine City so I've had a fair amount of Shadow of the Beast and Ys music running through my head(not chiptunes, but I imagine it's in the spirit of this thread), along with Dragon Spirit, thanks to esteban.
I attempted to 1cc Spriggan on normal to show off for my son this afternoon, but petered out on the last level, so that music has been running through my head all evening.
For some reason I've got Rocket Knight Adventures in my head. Haven't played that in at least 2 years. Great game though.

Hell yes. Oh, did I mention that she plays Galaxian (upright cab) at her cousin's house? All the gear is original (worn, chipped, but sweet). DAMN SWEET. Her passion for Galaga started when she played Galaxian (I was so happy). :)
I know your little guy plays, too.
I usually find myself humming the song to the 1st level of Blazing Lazers/Gunhed.
