my lord.
Cool that you posted this, don't get me wrong, but games have become so friggin *YAWN* now. Why are developers wasting so much time with these "new ideas"? I see the concept, but I would never choose to sit down and waste time with this. Just more rehashed bull-poop. It looks like it will be a neat mechanic shoehorned into another run of the mill platformer that will tire very quickly.
It's a mad world.
Maybe. True enough on the "original" ideas bit. Didn't Shakespeare write something about that too?
Anyway, I think the paradigm shifts will come by way of really smart AI in games, but the overall ideas behind games won't be too groundbreaking from here on out.
Kinda with galman on this one. love the vid, graphics and game look great, but not into the gimmicky play mechanics that so many games have these days. Thanks for posting though, was worth the watch.

Agreed. I just want a nice simple game with unique platforming like good ol' Mario 64. God I love that game...
me likey. I thought about a similar idea between horizontal/vertical shootemups., plus there's Fez, and another reality shifting indie game that's been winning awards since about 2009 and is nearly ready for release.
I think it's a neat idea for sure, but I just really don't know if it'd get tiresome after awhile.
I'd have to see it implemented in game before having a concrete opinion. Hope it's not a gimmick.
