Title: WTB: PCE system & unboxed games
Post by: Superfamifreak on 03/16/2006, 04:19 PM
After a cheapish PCE, Core Grafx 1/2 or Duo-R. Not bothered about a PSU for the consoles, but must have a pad & AV leads.

Also after any cheap unboxed HuCARD's.

I'm registered on neo-geo.com and have a 50+ feedback rating there and also 600+ feedback on ebay, both under this username.

Look up The West Exit.
He sells pc-engine stuff often and cheap.
He has a ebay account, also a online store of sorts, and he takes paypal and ships fast.

Glad to see you here, also glad to see your not a member of the Bubblegum Gang

Yeah, checked him out, only a Duo-R on ebay but a bit expensive for me right now :(

I'm only really after unboxed stuff as it's not ideal having a 2 year old running round who may damage the cases/manuals. She loves to get her hands on EVERYTHING!!!

Oic...another stab. :( C'mon Mike, I'm sure you can be a decent guy but this kind of stuff really isn't necessary here. :(

Lol,sure it is,he said he is from the Neo forums (incase you missed it thats Kurtz and Deans playground) which is why the joke was made, more or less directed at Dean, not in any way directed at the new member here.

Stop whining or in all fairness go whine to Dean for being a "tattletale" of sorts trying to rally people for his cause like he did with Kurtz with his crappy encoders.

That or just chill out. The Bubblegum Gang is my reference to anyone who joins here for the sole, and I do mean sole, reason of taking up for Dean, with no real interest in PcEngine games,hardware,ect.... This is why I said Im glad to see he is not a member of the Bubblegum Gang. He actually joined to try to get into the PcEngine scene, get games, ect, which is great, cause this place needs fresh new faces.

I gave the auction thing a thought over btw.You never gave specifics on price, how much youd need,or anything. Was no one else around here interested?

As for the West Exit guy Superfamifreak, you should email him for specific stuff.Place a request of some kind with him.

You have another option games wise at least, and thats Toshi at DreamStage Jp or DreamStar or whatever name his store uses these days on ebay.
He had the lowest prices on hu-cards I had ever seen, and the selection was really good.
Someone else here prob knows what name his store uses now.

Hardware wise I dont know, you will just have to hit ebay if West Exit cant help you.

 Someone's obsessed...  Is there an ignore function here? :P

Anyway...  Superfamifreak, I have a spare Coregrafx lying around (don't need it since I've got a modded Supergrafx).

It's unmodded, unboxed but I have a powersupply and pad.  I might have the AV leads.  I don't think I've got any spare games at the moment though.  Don't know if you want to have it shipped in from Canada though?

Let me know if you are interested.

Oh no, avoid The Dream Stars. That is the single most expensive Ebay store I've ever seen!

His bare hu-card prices were very cheap,5-30 bucks. You cant beat that.

You have posted here 20 times in about a  years time noob, you dont have a clue as to whats going on. You dont log in enough to need to ignore anyone.  At least nodtveidt does, and has a right to comment on it,wether I like what he says or not.

Mike, I could care less about the problems you have with Dean. What I am saying is that that kind of crap doesn't belong on a forum like this one. This forum has been pretty civil for the entire time I've been here, with the exception of the little hissy-fights you get into with Dean. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see this forum remain civil. :)

But yes, I do agree with you that we need more new people around here.

And I am already very chilled out.

*YAWN*  Honestly, you don't have to be post-happy to read the forum.  As with most forums I'm on, I tend to read a lot more then I write. ;)  If you have an issue with me you can PM me (I'm on the forum daily and check periodically when I'm in the office).  I'd rather not pollute this thread with this.  Thanks.

Anyway, to get back on track.  Like I said before,  I've got a Coregrafx available.
I'm not particularly attached to it since most of my HuCards are US and this unit's unmodded.  I'd probably let it go for 20$USD + shipping.  I'd have to dig it out of storage and make sure it's alright.

Actually, sellers like hit-japan sells the same games for the same prices (usually even lower). Only they are complete.

Do you have comparative links between the 2 sellers for auction items?

I have always steered clear from Dream Stars because of the wickedly high, "premium" prices games usually go for.  However, i recently picked up my Supergrafx and Aldynes from him and i have to say Toshi provided some of the best Ebay service i've seen in ages.
I could tell that he had cleaned and spiffed-up the system (which was exactly as described); the shipping was insanely fast, personalized communication, and extremely careful packaging.  Unlike most sellers, he also left positive feedback BEFORE i did.
After the package got here yesterday, i went to his store and noticed a "sale" section where i just ordered PC Genjin 3 and Terraforming (pce) both complete for about $25-30 each.  Not bad prices at all.  He also had Spriggan for 30 bucks.

I'd recommend him very highly if the price is right and you don't mind the shipping charges from Japan...Oh! that reminds me--he also refunded my account $7 when he went to the post office and found that the shipping was cheaper than he expected.  so he's honest too.
