Probably should have made this like 19 posts ago, didn't know where to post introductions :P I'm really no good at these but here goes...
I'm 22 years old so I'm maybe younger than a lot of people here. I'm a newcomer to the PC Engine (owned my PC Engine Duo for almost 2 years now). What really got me interested in the PC Engine is a mixture of my love for the SEGA Saturn and awesome early CD soundtracks. I feel like the Saturn is a spiritual successor to the PC Engine in a lot of ways, so it was just a natural step to get into the PC Engine Duo. I'm pretty much passionate about all the consoles out there really, the sole exception probably being the original Xbox.
Introduction = talking about games according to me apparently
Welcome! It's good to see padawans like yourself get into the good stuff! And the original Xbox did have some gems!
I had to temporarily remove the download links, but I think the traffic died down....

If you don't have all the tunes... :pcgs:
Yo' Bro
Hi man, just joined myself and yeah you are young compared to me at least!
PCE is the way forward, you will never regret owning one. If it was only released in the uk officially in its original white form, god only knows where NEC would be today in the video games industry.
Welcome Welcome! Yeah your not that the only one about that age floating around here. It really is a great system, I have enjoyed it more than any other console I have tried. I like many others, but the PC Duo is my favorite by far.
Welcome to the funny farm!

Anyway, welcome!
Also make sure to check out the best version of snatcher ever on the obey ware :)

Yeah, Philippe, the French guy. He deactivated his Facebook account too. I used to keep up with him there, but he decided it was taking too much time away, which also reflects his overall pullback from general forum activities over time, etc. He was a good guy, even owned almost every Falcom PC game ever made, but he started to unload a lot of his stuff in going through this type of "pullback phase."

I've been looking for it actually. Game of Japan seems to always be sold out of it.

DAMN. He always had intelligent, informed comments. Even if I didn't agree with him (sometimes), I knew he knew what he was talking about. :pcgs:
Plus, he posted regularly, which was nice.

He's actually some kind of super math wizard, even a damn good [assembly] programmer (better than me). He teaches a math class these days to kids and had to move, I recall, to start the job, so with all that, he chose to be less of a gamer and get more serious about his career, etc. Couldn't find that balance of trying to maintain both I guess (
as happens - I did kind of the same thing when I started working on my Bachelor's and years after that with the first job).

Yeah, I hear you. :pcgs:
Who knows? In a decade or two he might resurface. :pcgs:
