Getting one this holiday to play with my Wii U
Spout out games, any games. Also name good, strong single player mode FPS's. I love Action-Adventure
Already interested in these.
Last of Us
Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection
Uncharted Series
GTA V (possibly)
Borderlands 2 (if it has great single player)
Have these or pre-ordered on Wii U (Portal games on PC)
COD Blops II
Splinter Cell
Resident Evil Revelations
Portal 1 and 2
Deus Ex HR Director's Cut
Watch Dogs
AC IV (maybe)
Which games should I play from Final Fantasy series? I want to get into it.
Thanks!
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Mission impossible
Jumping Jack Flash
Castlevania = yes
Splatterhouse
Ico/Shadow of colossus
Saints Row 3
Bulletstorm
God of War 3
Dude, get the Uncharted Games and Fallout 3 GOTY.
How are final fantasy games?
Great suggestions so far.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow is dumb. It's quick times, garbage, and lame.
Try:
Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll (underrated as fuck)
Golden Axe (it sucks at first but gets better and ends up being fun)
Enslaved (if you can put up with dumb contrived platforming)
If you like foofoo anime games: Time and Eternity, the Atelier games.. anything NIS makes really...
Bladestorm is good for random slaughtering.
Folklore.
Heavenly Sword (short but good)
Yakuzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Four.
It's pretty good, who said beat 'em ups couldn't be translated to 3D? And it has a lot of stuff to do, I beat the story and got only 15% completion. Just don't let the hostess dressing minigame turn you off though.
The game is a little bit over-the-top but you can learn a lot about japanese culture.
Nights HD is an excellent one to purchase / download on your PS3.
Dragon's Crown
3D Dot Game Heroes
Valkyrie Chronicles
Uncharted Series
Demon's Souls, action rpg that offers a challenge and started the souls series.
MGS4
Puppetteer
Both Batman games
Asura's wrath
BlazBlue
God of War 3
Kill Zone 3

^This.
Lollipop Chainsaw is good mindless fun.
I also like White Knight Chronicles 1 and 2.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Vanquish
Bayonetta
KOF XIII
Ghostbusters <- Gears of Ghostbusters, I had fun with the game but I am a fan of the series. YMMV
Any of the Lego games really. I'm fond of the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series.
I like how luke asked about the Final Fantasy games twice and no one answered him lol
Demon's Souls. I like it better than Dark Souls, and it may be my favorite game on the console. Challenging as hell, but totally awesome.
3D Dot Game Heroes. Awesome spin on The Legend of Zelda.
Sly 4. I love these games.
Infamous 1 & 2(you can get a collection that includes Fesitval of Blood)
Uncharted 1-3
Tomb Raider(I was pleasantly surprised out how well it turned out)
Tomb Raider HD Collection(atleast for Legend & Anniversary, but I also like Underworld)
3D Dot Game Heroes
Anarchy Reigns(haven't beaten it, but it's a neat brawler)
Batman Arkham series(especially if you love Kevin Conroy as Batman, but their great either way)
Back to the Future(neat point & click game, they released a physical version)
Ducktales(physical version comes out in November)
The Lego games are all decent fun, nothing super exciting, but neat all the same)
The 2 Bionic Commando digital games, there's 3D game, some people love it, some hate it
The Bio Shock games, people seem to rave about them, the newest one looks neat
Borderlands 1 & 2, get the GOTY versions
Captain America, it got decent ratings, for some reason, I absolutely loved that game
DC Universe Online is kinda cool, I mostly stuch to the single player stuff
Dragon's Crown
Dungeon Seige 3 if you like newer hack n' slash rpg's
Fallout 3 & New Vegas, however if you do EVERYTHING in Fallout 3, the more glitches you can run into, not sure if Vegas has the same problems, also, the games are loooooooooooooooong, I was somewhere over 200 hours when I finished doing almost every little thing in Fallout 3
GI Joe Rise of Cobra, it's a cool Contra'ish game
Green Lantern Rise of the Manhunters, I totally enjoyed this game, I think it got decent reviews
Heavenly Sword
Ico & Shadow of Collosus Collection
Jak & Daxter Collection
The Incredible Hulk, it's a flawed but still fun open world game loosely based on the most recent movie
Lord of the Rings War in the North
Metal Gear Solid 4 & HD Collection
Midway Arcade Origins
Mirror's Edge
Moon Diver
Outland(if you like Castleroids)
Prototype 1 & 2
Rayman Origins
Red Faction 3 & 4(buy em' cheap, as some especially didn't like 4, which I loved)
Resistance(supposed to be a great series, I haven't played them just yet)
Retro City Rampage(an homage to NES games such as Metal Gear, TMNT, Super Mario, Duck Hunt, etc.)
The Sly Cooper games
Sega Collection
Spiderman Shattered Dimensions & Edge of Time, awesome games(Web of Shadows is good too), haven't played Amazing Spiderman yet
Tales of......if you like the Tales games, there's 1 or 2 out, & there's a collection of 2 games that were GC & Wii exclusives
Transformers(all of them except the first movie game, it's HORRIBLE!) The best ones are Revenge of the Fallen & Fall of Cybertron. If you're a G1 fan like me, I recommend War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron
Trinity:Souls of Zill O'll
X-men Destiny
Zone of Ender's HD Collection
Hard corps - contra basically
Haha! Yep, still no talk of any Final Fantasy.
Bayonetta
HOTD: Overkill (worth the PS Move controller purchase in itself)
God of War Collection (if you don't already have GOW 1 and 2)
Persona 4 Arena
I have the PS3 Final Fantasy's, but haven't played them much. I just don't consider them true Final Fantasy's, but they might be ok. If you pick em up, just do what I did, & get them for under $20.
I forgot to mention this game, while it's digitally only if you like metroidvania games it's worth checking out.
Guacamelee! - Review (https://youtu.be/xLC-3zcBo54#ws)
Guacamelee also supports co-op.
Portal 2
All The GOW
Oblivian
KillZone 3
GT5
Splatterhouse
I liked FFXIII. It was one of those games I got to the end and never finished but I had fun with what was there and liked the battle system. It is very linear for the most part. Only one area I can remember with side activities/quests
Other good RPGs
Fallout 3/ New Vegas
Oblivion / Skyrim
Mass Effect 1-2-3
Ni No Kuni Wraith of the Witch
Heavy Rain is a good exclusive I haven't seen mention yet
3D Dot Game Heroes is fun
Dishonored was a great new IP from last year can be played stealthy or Rambo style
Guacamelee mentioned above was a great 10ish hour game for the $15 price tag
You already have Last of Us on your post but if your play multi-player games give it a shot the learning curve is high but it is really fun

lol whatever. If you like a great story, a deep combo move system and really cool enemies and graphic deaths then you'll like it.
I beat FF XIII. I hadn't made my way through FF since 7, so I figured I was due.
It was pretty good if you like linear games with high production value. It wasn't hard, I don't think I ever really lost a fight. It wasn't good enough for me to ever start the FF XIII-2 I bought for $10 though...
I will probably end up playing through FF 19, if I keep up my current pace.

I agree, I played FF13 and while it was really linear, it was still well done with the production values and an enjoyable story. Just make sure if you do play it you do some of the side quests along the way, because it's possible to progress through the game too fast and then get stuck being under-leveled near the end of the game. I've also got 13-2, haven't played it either though :o
Tales of Graces f is fun too if you like JRPGS in general, and Arkhan mentioned the foo-foo NISA games which I love as well.
