That's right. A little love for the system that colored stuff.
You get up to five slots to fill out your must or only have on the system.

Great system. Don't know what I would do without A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Mario World, Contra III, Castlevania IV, Star Fox, Final Fantasy II & III, Mystical Ninja, Gradius III, Axelay, Out of this World, SF II-Turbo, Lost Vikings, Rock n' Roll Racing, Clay Fighter, Super Turrican, King Arthur's World, Peace Keepers, Arcana or 7th Saga in my life!
Just to name a few off the top of my head.
Forgot Shadowrun, another great game!
Secret of Mana, Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Turtles in Time, Contra 3, Super Metroid.
aw yeah
dude, clock tower.
only SNES/SFC game i need.
but there's also mega man, i suppose that's good too.
Axelay, Contra Spirits, Ganbare Goemon 2, Macross scramble valkyre, Zelda
Josh listed most of the games I love and nando mentioned TMNT Turtles in Time. I also loved Super Adventure Island, Space Megaforce, Super Ghouls n Ghosts, Super E.D.F., Lagoon, Ultraman, U.N. Squadron (even more than the arcade), Super Star Wars, and Actraiser.
Oh, and Dragon Quest Reprise 1-3.
The only game I need from the SNES:
Creepers Clock Tower

Hell yah on Clockwork Tower. I forgot to add Nosferatu and Kendo Rage.
Assault Suits Valken, Metal Warriors, Super Metroid, Star Fox, R-Type III...
IMO, Squares best RPGs game out on the SNES. I still enjoy playing through Final Fantasy II and III, Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger. But I have a 5 yr old and he LOVES watching me play through them. We're playing through Chrono Trigger now. :)
I managed to find Earthbound for dirt cheap a year or so ago (< $10) and I've been really enjoying that as well.
Super Mario Kart and F-Zero are still tons of fun to play.
Super Smash TV is great fun, especially with a buddy.
Uniracers! I can't count how many hours my friends and I have played that over the years.
And even though it's slowdown-city, I love Gradius III.
EDIT: Erp! That's 10, but I'd have a hard time whittling that down to 5...
As I mentioned it before, I don't really hate it but I think it is an extremely hilarious fact that the SFC/SNES didn't turn out to be a much better and more powerfull hardware compared to the PC Engine f.e. heck it was released more than THREE (3) years after the PC Engine and at that time the PCE already got its CD-ROM, his bigger brother the super grafx, and a 100% portable of itself, as well a SUPER CD-ROM was just around the corner. And the SFC can barely outrun the PCE except for a higher color count and some additional special FX.
I don't repeat titles already listed (because that would be boring), so...
Sunset Riders
Bah. I dunno about you guys but I got burnt out on this system ages ago. I do agree there are great games for it but good lord there were many more awesome titles on the pce! Anyway my top 5:
1. Actraiser
2. Soul Blazer
3. Mario RPG
4. Lufia series
5. Breath of Fire series
6. Robotrek (customize your own robots yah!)
7. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
8. Wizardry 1-3
9. Chrono Trigger
10. Lagoon
Yeah I know there's more than 5 but there you go.
Killer Instinct?
It's all about zombies ate my neighbor

I know i don't regret picking up a sfc again
Man how could I forget Smash TV. I put so much time into that game. Loved the arcade game. Even with the violence toned down I loved it on SNES.

Have you ever played Biomotor Unitron on the Neo Geo Pocket Color? Was it anything like that? I dug that game, back when I had a NGPC.

The first SNES game I played tons of. My brother's friend brought over his new SNES and Smash TV.
PARTY TIME.
I still enjoy playing it on SNES.

Similar, but not nearly as complex. About the coolest thing about Robotrek was creating weapons by combining different items. Customization is a big thing in this game An example would be a Hammer and a Sword you get a axe. Oh yeah and it was done by Enix! I'll definetly have to check out Biomotor, that looks sweet. :) I just wish some of Enix's last snes games before they were absorbed into Square had better music. Robotrek had some ok tracks but some of them were god awful. Well not as bad as E.V.O but you get the idea.
my first SNES game was Super Mario World in a toys shop, but they also had le Mega drive next to it with ghouls'n'ghosts loaded, so I sure was spending much more time with that (as an uber Ghosts'n'Goblins fan in the 80s) even it had inferior grafics (compared to the arcade).
but SMW is one of the best and most fun bringing 2D JnR to date, hands down. MD G'n'G probably not so

First time I've seen Kendo Rage - looks like it could be fun.

Kendo Rage can be pricey since it was a obscure release.
Just spent a bit more time with Super Mario World...I must say, it's very good.

Honestly I could keep going, but you get the point. I honestly could not just pick 5 games. There are way too many on the system of high quality to just limit yourself to just five.

Understandable.
Great discovery list too. Some of these games I've never played or heard off.
