I've just purchased a Japanese Turbo Duo-RX and need a fix of my favourite gaming series - So if anyone has a spare copy of any of the 'Bonk' games, please pm me - No silly prices please! :)
I saw you made that comment on my PCE collection picture at myspace.
My Duo-R has a region mod. It originally can't play Bonk's Adventure. If you want Bonk action, you're stuck with looking for its Japanese equivalent "PC Genjin".
Thats for the info - Thats a shame - I'll lookout for that game on eBay!
I would definitely recommend getting the PCE version of at least the 3rd game. Bonk 3 costs $100+ on hucard and probably over $200 if you want the CD release, whereas PC Genjin 3 costs $30-50 dollars and the only reading you miss out on is the very simple instructions when you enter a bonus stage.
Although I do have to say that i like the US artwork a little bit more.
A question: WHY is Bonk's Adventure so expensive? I thought those games were popular.
And who would buy that game? Anyone here paid over $100 for it?

Bonk's Adventure isn't expensive. It usually goes for around $20.
I was saying that it's much cheaper to get PC Genjin 3 instead of Bonk 3, which is very expensive and exactly the same game.
Not just PC Genjin 3/Bonk 3.
LeeT, I've mentioned this numerous times. But with Japanese NEC hardware you got the best end of the deal.
Japanese versions of most TG games are usually cheaper than the American/Euro. My Hucard collection jumped up quite a bit because I got games under 20.

Sorry to bring this back to life,
but is the music really the only difference between the Hucard and CD versions of PC Gengin 3? I just ordered a hucard copy, but wonder if i'm missing anything.
