I want to dedicate this translation to the person and friend that let me borrow the game and play it for the first time when I was in 9th grade. He spotted a Space Harrier box in my bookbag and said "is that turbografx!?" (1998 btw) and I said yeah you know about that ? He lent me Neutopia and eventually i lent him games and he lent me games as well. He passed away last year at 28. I want to dedicate this translation in his name!!! RIP FOREVER , Your spirit will be with me everytime I play Neutopia and Final Lap Twin , he also knew the passwords "jipped" you (in Final Lap), his exact words. Because of him I discovered the RPG mode in Final Lap, previously I had only played Arcade mode at a friends house. I will forever remember him.

Ah, interesting. Congrats on the project. I didn't know you were fan-translating when you showed up on the boards.
There was someone recently that wanted to work with me to get Ys IV translated to Spanish actually, at some point, but I haven't heard back from him as to when he'd be ready to begin. Thing is, the dubs would still be in English, unless he's willing to go further and do actor recruitment/management via Voice Acting Alliance or something.
Anyway, Neutopia was a good choice to get started on. I take it there wasn't anything complex about how the text was stored ?? Just clear ANSI, no compression ??

did u patch it to the rom named Neutopia (U) O1 H1.
It will be spanish. What version did you patch?
If I use it to patch o1 h1, it crashes as soon as the first dialog box spits out a single letter.
I patched the regular (U) version initially. However, after seeing o1 h1 crash, I also patched a1 and h2, and still get it in German.

Grr, Im getting my PC back on the 9th of November. I have my spanish patch on there. I dont know how I got the two mixed up. What the heck.
I guess I will be releasing the German version as well as the Spanish. But I still cant believe I have the WRONG ips file on this computer

Rover thanks again for testing it out . I will have to wait till I fix my computer to retrieve the proper file. ROFLMAO Its not MY mac. That is the point. My PC is out of service untill November 9th. I have all my work on there
Sorry, I need to clarify. It's pretty funny that *ANY* mac is incapable of zipping a file. Shit, the last mac I owned was sold in 2002 and even that could handle zip files.
ITS NOT MINE. In other words I cannot download programs to it and basically use it as if it were. Now do you understand?
