This one is not mainstream, good luck. :)

Close?
Sgt Slaughter Does Dallas?
<<Scratches head>> nope
No idea, but it looks like my kind of movie!
House. A pretty good movie. That's Bull, from Night Court. Richard Moll?
Oh, and that guy from Cheers, George Wendt. Other actors slip my mind, just Night Court and George Wendt come to mind (Da Bears...)
lol house. love it so much. one of my very first horror flicks i have seen in cinemas :D
give 'em a handgrenade :P

You got me beat, then! My first viewing was on Beta. Then later, VHS, DVD. Nothing in HD, yet, as far as I know...
Ya you got it mr fulci.. I was watching it again last night, and the other guy was from Greatest American Hero :)... Your turn.
"House"... Is that the movie with the tag line "Ding Dong You're Dead"...because I think there were at least two different movies with very similar premises (was Troll another one?)
NO, I AM NOT GOING TO LOOK THIS UP BEFORE POSTING.

gimme a sec...
House was awesome, not so much, "non-mainstream". it did have a theatrical release, though now, about 30 years later, who nowadays knows about, "Night Court"? "Cheers"? It's... OLD! I'll add a screenshot, in a moment, I have something around.
I watched this recently. Not too difficult. Same vintage.
*A hint - It's from an anthology.

House was pretty big when it came out actually. I have seen that movie no less than 20 times myself :)
Great soundtrack, awesome practical effects, George Wendt, He-Man action figures, and more!

I remember radio commercials for it in NYC...it seems a lot of horror films in mid- to late-80's (NYC) relied on radio...WHICH IS WHY THE TAG-LINES for these films WERE RADIO FRIENDLY (my own theory, I never read anything to corroborate it with industry sources).
Another great radio ad included "Dead by Dawn" over and over, urgently spewed out by something that didn't sound human, at all.

In other Evil Dead news, Army of Darkness 2 is nearly guaranteed to be happening!

All I can think of is a punk from "The Return of the Living Dead 2"
Oh wait is it Demons?

None of those. Rather than post another screenshot from the film, I'll just say what it was from, "Tales from the Darkside: The movie".
I recently watched it again, and had the DVD laying around, so I took a screenshot.
It's from the end of the 1st story, when Steve Buscemi is in the cab laughing, and the punk cab driver says something to effect of, "Man, you're really starting to freak me out!".
Funny, I just watched House 2 and totally forgot it had Cliff (John Ratzenberg) in the film.... tho House 3 and 4 were bad......
Now I go watch basket case or ghoulies..... AH 80s horror...... it makes me happy
I knew that was Tales From the Darkside! Somehow I missed the post on a page 1 to 2 move.
Ghoulies 2 is a great movie... part 1, not so much. For additional Ghoulies 2 fun, watch the movie trailer if you have the movie on DVD. That is one of my favorite trailers of all time.
