Gawd I always wanted to do this so badly!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=LpFLU5-RsGA
I know there's already a Youtube thread, but I think this deserves its own thread.
I noticed on Youtube, there hasn't been much love for the NEC systems spread around. Sure there has, but they've been nothing but official review videos, game intros, or if anything video games they would be predominantly games EVERYBODY knows about (i.e. Nintendo, Sega, Zelda, Mario) vs. fighter matches and combo videos, and lastly, anime and random FMV sequences from random next gen RPGs put into music videos infested with J-Pop.
Somebody's gotta be sick of running into all those, no doubt about it.
I invite anyone around here with capturing equipment to join me so I can start a movement to expose these niche masterpieces of classic gaming. Record yourselves playing your favorite games and put it out to the whole planet, whether it'd be on the TG/PCE, Duo, Supergrafx, or even the PCFX.
UPDATE: Footage of other Japanese obscure games on Famicom, Super Famicom, Mega Drive, FM Towns is welcome as well.
That's awesome, I can't wait to see all your other videos of PCE and SFC playing! By the way, I loved how you were trying to run to the finish before getting hit by that flying head at the end of stage 2, too bad he caught up with you  . You should make your own online-based video game show where you just record yourself playing games and review it while you play, like RetroCore (http://www.segagagadomain.com/RetroCorepage-main.htm) .
More videos coming. Just taped myself beating PCE Ninja Gaiden, but I had to chop the video up in segments to fit Youtube standards.
Ninja Gaiden Acts 1-2

Great stuff again! Nice run through the first stage too ;) . Sorry, I just had to laugh when you got pissed when that damn dog knocked you off the ledge in stage 2, that was just hilarious  . I am sure that has happened to me before too.

I did a quick one of Ai Cho Aniki level 1

The camera autofocus screws it up a little in places but hopefully I can fiddle with it for any future vids.

I saw this video too last night! Once again very neat stuff and I totally want to get that CD version now.
And thanks so much Paul for the Ai Cho Aniki video! You don't get to see videos for a game like that much, so that was a really nice thing to see. I really need to get the two PCE Cho Aniki games.
Sorry for the dumb question...but is that first video Samurai Ghost? If so, I'll need to pick up that one.
Quote from: jlued686Sorry for the dumb question...but is that first video Samurai Ghost? If so, I'll need to pick up that one.
It's not that great.
I think it's a alright game, I mean sure, the animation's pretty funny looking like he's controlled by a marionette.
Sunteam Paul you get props for pitching in!
the 2nd level where you have to keep going forward to avoid the molten lava thats chasing you while fighting off the undead demons is soooo annoying in that Samurai Ghost >__<
Wow I should start sticking up stuff on that youtube too soon but I need a larger SD card for my camera in order to get some video footage 8)
Oh yeah not that it matters, but when you post your gameplay vids on youtube, put the location of where the video was recorded. I personally find it interesting seeing the game in action half a world away.
I like thinking stuff like, "wow this guy in Germany is good at Bonk" or this guy in England is good at Kaze Kiri" etc
I would love to see some game footage of Kaze Kiri, Saphire, Space fantasy zone, Strider and any over rare pc engine CD rom games please
Here it is.

That SFZ looks pretty slick. Even rips off the Space harrier music a bit.
Damn it's good to see PCE take youtube by storm.
Well despite the potential, SFZ (at least in its unfinished state) is pretty poor, which is a shame as it's the perfect mixture for a great game.
How about a Renny Blaster video? This game is a big :?: for me.
It's funny that the guy who put up the Ghouls n' Ghosts Supergrafx video felt the need to write a page long rant about its inferiority to the arcade.
Oh yeah, AirRaidX.
I clearly know the background behind that long rant.
At the Digital Press forums, he pissed off alot of people in a Ghouls n Ghosts tribute thread about the "arcade perfect" issue. I think he got banned for it too.
Then he took that shit to Neo-Geo.com. Thankfully a member exposed him and they flamed the hell out of AirRaid before he had his chance to strike.

Word up! Thanks for giving me the scoop. His fixation on the use of "arcade perfect" even inspired me to post a long response in one of the threads here. He's the one who posted a lot of comparison pics, right? He has valid points, but I think his approach (or, to be more precise, his tone) turns a lot of people off. Insanity! I haven't been to the DP forums in ages, but I don't remember seeing any big drama over there. This fellow must have really annoyed folks! Any links to threads over there?

he is crazy..
Up till the supergrafx port that was the only version around that was closest to arcade (before 32bit moved in) and not many people then had access to arcade machine or emulation (OR could afford importing a X68000) so many people couldn't have made a direct screen to screen comparison.. Even if graphically its not 100% arcade perfect playability wise it is!
He's been showing SGX pics through magic engine but that outputs graphics and colours differently on a pc monitor than SGX hooked up to a normal TV.................... So it would look different..
I don't understand why he can't flame the Genesis version since at that time it came out many press had deemed that to be arcade perfect.
You know I've always wished that NEC Avenue (or any other good games company) shoulda did a port of Gnost N' Goblins for the PCE >___<
anyway back to the thread: there was a tokemeki memorial intro for the PCE on youtube. I love that!!!

Yes, exactly! I made very similar points when I responded to him (I didn't know about real vs. emulated SGX output, though), but I don't think he ever replied to my post (and I tried to be delicate so I wouldn't hurt his feelings!). Ultimately, though, I'm glad he posted here because it was entertaining and I like to see all the nuances between different versions of the same game.
Now, I can't wait to check out the DP forum link that Ninja posted :)
Oh yeah, that Air Raid X/SuperGrafxPCEngine/Handy Grafx/whatever the hell you call him has gone crazy about that stuff. I agree with Digi.k all the way about the issue.

I can't find any keys anywhere in the level and I even did everything you did in your video and it still won't work :( . What is going on!?!?
On cave doors, you haven't held "up" long enough, it's really weird because there's a window of delay before the screen fades. You'll automatically run into the key in stage 1. The quality of the video made it a little ambiguous.

OK, you can tell me how far I got in the game. I can get up to the boss at the waterfall -- the "whistle" music plays as the boss slowly descends.
Back in the day, I could beat him every now and then (pure luck), but now when I get to him, I just totally choke.
Did I at least make it halfway through the game? The map, IIRC, looked like I barely made it 1/4 - 1/3 of the way. :)

Yeah that's like Round 3.
This is one of those games where you really have to study boss patterns. The best time to hit the boss with the whistle is when he does that spinning attack. Duck first then jump over it, and if he lands close enough to your player, it's the best time to hit him. It's a bitch trying to jump his knives though. A more advanced strategy would be to actually know when to jump before he swings his sword when you're in close. I may twist my mind and my tongue, but on some bosses in Samurai Ghost, you have to really know how to manipulate the time frame between your attack and the enemy's, or manage recovery time after jump dodging an attack. For instance, a fraction of a second is a huge difference on when that you land that weak spot.
Some Samurai Ghost facts:
>Mid bosses are actually optional, so you can just dodge your way to a red gate. If you beat them, you get a bonus stage.
Best tips for playing in any stage in general is to always be in guard position (holding down block). Best for several reasons:
> Aerial enemies that can be killed in a single hit such as the fireheads, the hands that appear out of thin air, the frogs that hang around poison water (in fact, you can tell that poison water is around because a certain music track will play only in those stages) will easily bump into your sword.
>Those irritating "hit and run" enemies, and enemies that can block your hits, y'know when you try to attack them they keep backing up, such as the red goblins, the crow, or the colored ninjas (blue throws shuriken, yellow shoots fire arrows etc). When they hit you when you're in guard, the enemy will be in block stun which means you get a free easy counterattack. If the enemies fly and back away everytime you swing, you can bait them with the guard position.
Oh and a small spoiler: The final stage is nothing but rematches with the bosses you've already beaten.
You just gotta keep at this game. It really didn't take me long to learn it. It's one of those games where it's tough at first, but is tons of fun once you get down the patterns.

Ha! I knew I didn't make it far in the game. Yes, the kool thing about the game is that you actually do use all the different moves: blocking, up+swing vs. down+swing vs. swing, etc.
I know that you can jump over the "Red Gates" at the end of every stage. Sometimes there is a
second gate to enter (and sometimes its a different color -- yellow? -- as well). Have you figured out any strategy to these gates? IIRC, they take you to different sub-stages.
Without spoiling things: are there many more parts with crumbling bricks that disappear from underneath your feet? I figure there must be :).

I never actually tried jumping over the gates. Yellow gates are bonus rounds as previously mentioned after optional mid bosses are beaten.
There's more of those block crumbling stages ahead. But wait til you get the ice stages where the ground is slippery, and you'll have to play "hurdles".
There is one more certain stage to tell about though. It's very very easy. At the beginning, it gives you a sword power up, but all you'll be doing is jumping demon dogs and small platforms. Never attack ANYTHING, because at the end of that phase, there's a giant centipede that you can kill in several hits otherwise it'll take forever and it'll chase your ass down too if you try killing it with your standard sword.

Dude, you'll have fun jumping over the gates! Maybe the yellow gates only appear after beating the sub-boss (my memory is hazy), but there are definitely instances where a second red gate (or archway) can be accessed by hurdling over the first one.
ICE!? Noooooooo..... That actually sounds vaguely familiar, I wonder if I got that far in one of my lucky games back in the day.
Ninja, you've inspired me to re-visit this game!
That's it. As soon as my dad gets in bed, i'm gonna record the rest of the game. If I die, oh well....

Composite to USB device.
I guess it doesn't like the 240p signal of the old system :(
I remember some guys were using there Mini DV cams as capture devices. They'd hook up the composite signal into the external input of the camera, and run the firewire output to the PC/MAC - instant capture device.

Quote from: handygrafxQuote from: GUTSI totally agree with that airraid guy, he rocked the FACE off that one guy GhoulsNGhosts and all GnG could say is "oh your post count is small, that's your opinion, blah blah I'm a faggot". That was hilarious stuff.
On a side note, good god those people on that digital press forum are probably the biggest hive of nerds I've ever come across on the internet.
thanks dude, i appreciate the "air" support, lol. I had a hella fun time
"going crazy" with the Ghouls 'n Ghosts comparisons. the point was not to bash the SuperGrafx, a console that i love, but to drop a 'MOAB' on the idea of 'arcade perfect'.
anyway back on topic. i'll try to make some SuperGrafx Youtube vids of
1941, Aldynes Granzort, Battle Ace and more Ghouls :P
As always, I'd love to see any comparisons you create.
Quote from: Ninja SpiritQuote from: handygrafxQuote from: Ninja SpiritOh yeah, AirRaidX.
I clearly know the background behind that long rant.
At the Digital Press forums, he pissed off alot of people in a Ghouls n Ghosts tribute thread about the "arcade perfect" issue. I think he got banned for it too.
Then he took that shit to Neo-Geo.com. Thankfully a member exposed him and they flamed the hell out of AirRaid before he had his chance to strike.
i am NOT banned from DigitalPress. check out the last page of the Ghosts 'n Goblins thread, AirRaid (me) is there.

Anyway, yeah make them Supergrafx vids! You pretty much saved this whole thing from tanking.

it's all cool, lol. btw. i conducted my precision 'anti-arcade perfect' air raid strikes on
neo-geo.com forum first, only then did they try to flame the hell out of me-- well after my points had been made. by then it was much too late. their flames were all in vein, lol. like after a bombed out city, the survivers screaming wildly at the jets that just air raided their city. some of the survivers do shoot down some of the intruding jets and 're-build' their city (thread) in this case, they erased/hid posts, but the memory will never be forgotten. god that was fun.
now, i've got a samsung digital camcorder that can obviously make superior videos than what i did with a 3.1 megapixel digicam. it uses mini-DVD-RW + SDcard. i gotta find the battery and power supply. and experiment with taking vids of games and uploading them to youtube,
or this other new place called gameklip.com that lets you upload vids, or will do soon.
Yeah seriously, I never seen a gamer with a really strong eye for comparisons between different versions as far as minor things like background detail and other things of that nature.
I gotta look into this gameklip sometime.
hell i could be another "me too" and say, 'yeah the Genesis and SuperGrafx versions of Ghouls 'n Ghosts were really great ports of the arcade, nearly arcade perfect' and be done with it. but then, that would be boring, untrue and not helpful to someone who wants a detailed comparison.
all this 'passion' (lol) goes back to me as a little kid being HORRIFIED and dismayed that Genesis Altered Beast was not 'exactly' like the arcade-- my first look at the Genesis version, i instantly saw how it was different, not as good as the arcade game that i had been playing every chance i could.
Welcome back, SuperGrafx/handygrafx/Airraidx/etc..! It's nice to see that you boldly posted that you weren't dissing the Genesis or Super Grafx versions in any way but honestly saying that they aren't arcade perfect.
exactly! i love the SuperGrafx, Genesis, TurboGrafx/PC-Engine, TurboDuo
etc.
i'm just against the liberal use of any word, phrase or implication that games are identical to the arcade if they're not.
NEC and Hudson never really pushed those false ideas, but Sega did in the beginning with Genesis (and im a huge Sega fan).
GameFan was one of the worse magazines in that regard but there were many others.
(i still enjoyed GameFan and many of their staff are kewl including ECM)
i also hate censorship. on neo-geo.com forum, they're really like little laughing hinena NAZIs over there. its disgusting.

Hahah even though I enjoyed the Genesis version, I know what you mean. If you were playing two player on the arcade version (in which one of my friends has a cabinet of in his own house) and both of you were werewolves, the game would have an insanely hectic pace if you just kept doing the dash attack non stop. Genesis version didn't have that because it could only go so fast.

well yeah true, but there's alot more to it than that. not only are the Genesis graphics VERY significantly different (downgraded or cut out) from the arcade, i.e. sprites, color, animation, missing FX. etc. - but also the pacing and the gameplay difficulty are far different on Genesis. the Genesis Altered Beast is MUCH easier than the arcade, and generally goes at a faster pace because of this. although the arcade is more hectic as you said because enemies don't die as easily.
the one thing the Genesis version had that the arcade did not, was parallax scrolling. but that did not make up for the overall downgraded, washed out graphics with smaller sprites, less animation, missing scaling/zooming effects. etc.
of course, the Genesis version is overall the best home version of the arcade overall. the music is very close to the arcade. music from Sega System16 to Genesis did not suffer much downgrade.
the PC-Engine HuCard (never saw the CD-ROM version) although not on par with the Genesis version in many areas (music, parallax) the developer (NEC Avenue?) actually tried to be more faithful to the arcade
in other ways, than Sega's own Genesis version. more color, sprites that look more like arcade, effects that attempt to immitate the arcade more.
still, the Genesis version was superior overall, dispite this. neither system could reproduce the System16 arcade - i would've loved to have seen the SuperGrafx try though, with a 16 meg SHuCard.
i was pretty pissed when, years later, the Sega Smash Pack for Dreamcast and PC had the Genesis versions of Altered Beast and Golden Axe instead of the arcade.
Aight fellaz, keep the NEC/Hudson love flowing through youtube.

He definitely played on the real system with a camcorder in front of the TV. You can tell a live video by its quality and how hollow the sound is. That's how I did my vids as well. Unless the game was unreleased and can only be on a rom, we PCEFX'ers say "NO" to emus. 8)

Really? I prefer an emu pipe'd to a TV - with nice filtering and all (plus save states). I personally don't like the PCE output - to sharp and such. I used to have a specific setting/profile saved on my old TV for my DUO - back in the day. SNES btw had the best output of the three - regardless of color usage.
Also, I prefer not to put any wear & tear on my real systems unless I have to
or for testing hacks/translations/DEV.
yea the pc engine is 'real' but I'm using A/V booster and hooked it up to an amplifier.
and Yes! I love those drum beats and Konami did use the same ones in their other games but I think Salamander just has it playing out more forceful!
I'm not really using a true camcorder. I 've recorded it using canon ixus I zoom digital camera but personally I think the results are pretty good.
I've only used a real camcorder twice .. the frame rate and sound quality are much better but the resolution when its uploaded to you tube is lame. you can see those here:

Crap like this goes beyong abrasive-
"some of the faggots on
neo-geo.com forum and
digitalpress forum ARE OWNED because of their sheer stupidity and faggotry."
You lose all credibility when you say crazy things, like when a Sega "fanboy" does a comparison review of a game on Turbo & Genesis and points out flaws in the Turbo version each time as being inherent to the Turbographics16 being such a crappy 8-bit system that simply "can't do this or that" and that anything positive about the Genesis game is due to the fact that the Genesis is far more technologically superior(like most of the sega-16 "reviews").
But AirRaidX goes far beyond losing credibilty with ridiculous comments such as the one listed above and things like describing parts of the Super Grafx game as "NES quality".
This tempted me to do an NES Ghosts 'N Goblins comparison, to show how it rocks the SGX GnG.
Quote from: CrackTigerGallaxy Fraulein Yuna 2: full HuVIDEO segment-
http://youtu.be/SvmU914xpfw
I'm pretty sure that's from the bonus disc that came with the reprint of Yuna 1, not from Yuna 2. I don't have either anymore, but that's what I remember.
AirRaidX strikes again!Coincidently, someone
actually rated my GnG video
and gave it only 1 star. Which isn't
completely weird,
if someone were to somehow take it totally seriously.
But the thing is, every one of my
other videos which have received ratings up until yesterday all had perfect scores. Now, all of a sudden today, a bunch of them have gone from 1 rating of 5 stars to 2 ratings averaged out to 3 1/2 stars.
I just
happened to get 1 new person rate 3/4 of my already rated videos,
spanning different platforms & genres, and in
every single case, they gave the
exact same low score to bring
every one of them down to the
same reduced score.
Can this possibly be a coincidence? I was hoping to
at least receive an essay about steeped I am in faggotry. So I'm actually dissapointed.
But I'm glad that I caught his attention. I'm guessing that he found it by searching Youtube on a daily basis for some of the key words of his that I also used, like "scrolling" and "parallax".
I should be thankful that he doesn't have any friends to fake rate my videos as well. Although, that would only impress me more.

I'm pretty sure that's from the bonus disc that came with the reprint of Yuna 1, not from Yuna 2. I don't have either anymore, but that's what I remember.
You're right. In all the excitement of getting a huge lot of PC Engine stuff, I quickly put up the video without even thinking. :P
The past couple of days on YouTube have been infested with trolls.
Troll #2: On a Guilty Gear match video I posted last year, some guy attempts picking a fight with me over Japan's greatest fighting game player Daigo Umehara and other Guilty Gear related stuff. I just deleted his comments, made one final diss on him, and locked comments for that video.
Troll #3: Bastarddarsh. This guy makes me wanna grind him up with a chainsaw. Leaving nasty comments on my Sega Master System videos.
I did not know about this.
Ninja Warriors superplay straight out of Japan.

I finally got my last AirRaidX parody out of the way so I could put up more legit videos(I wanted to keep the GnG videos together).
So tonight I put these up-
Ghouls 'N Ghosts Megadrive Cart VS Arcade pcb-
http://youtu.be/QXh0y8IobrQ
All of Chris Covell's PCE demos run off of a Duo RX-
http://youtu.be/f-YSnIDsz5U
Tongueman's Logic run off of a Duo RX-
http://youtu.be/x4Ke_6qbhTA
Everyone knows what the Genesis/Mega Drive and Arcade versions of Ghouls 'n Ghosts look lke. I want a long video of the SuperGrafx version. Is anything like that available?

I'll put one up soon enough, but I'm not promising to show Loki. :)
The video of MD vs Arcade isn't gameplay footage, it's a parody of AirRaidX's YouTube rants, which details how superior the MD cart is to the Arcade pcb(literally).
My previous parody uses AirRaidX's own words and "logic" to detail how the SMS GnG's exclusive features make it superior to the Arcade version.
The Mega Drive version is better than the arcade because you can sit down and play that on your couch, whereas the arcade version you have to go to a smelly 7-11 or something.

Unless you have a cocktail cabinet for a coffee table. Mine usually just houses Black Tiger though.
I made a 1 loop GnG SGX video last night, but I have to re-render it a third time to get the file size under 100 megs. It'll be up on YouTube later this afternoon.
Speaking of 100m, WHERE THE HELL IS MY YOUTUBE DIRECTOR'S ACCOUNT AT?!!
I signed up for it a week ago and they still ain't gotten back to me yet! They said 48 hours was the max for reviewing. I'm sick of having to hit the trim button in my movie editor.

It took (I'm guessing) like 5 days for them to approve me.
Even then, I only had 2 or 3 videos up. But I still got upgraded eventually...
After a number of setbacks,
including spending an entire evening making a GnG style superpcenginegrafx intro, I finally got my SuperGrafx Daimakaimura video up on youtube-
http://youtube.com/watch?v=7YV_hPTT8PQThis is one loop of the entire game plus stage 1 with the holy weapon... so no Lucifer/Loki or credits.
I'll be putting up higher quality single stage videos next.
Interesting. I was greatly surprised that NEC Avenue could have pulled off anything even close to the arcade, especially with the sound (an area which they don't seem to be well "trained"). What happened? Did somebody threaten their jobs? They decided to go back to the ol' NEC Avenue when it was time to do Strider, though. Man, that sucked!
Does the SuperGrafx GnG allow for diagonals like the Genesis version does? I love that. I wish the Saturn version allowed for diagonals. It's kind of retarded to not have them in place. Maybe Capcom was sick that day when making the arcade. Games should be tough because they are challenging, not because they have crappy control.
Anyone who listens to alot of J-Music, I need your input!
I'm about to start making some PC Engine VG music videos. I'm looking for suggestions of which songs go good with each of the individual games I'm about to bring up . I'm leaning more towards J-Music, so I can preserve that Japanese vibe.
> Genpei Toumaden 2/Samurai Ghost - in this case J-Rock might fit this game very well
> Son Son II
> Ninja Spirit
> Video combining footage from Valis 3 and 4

Anything by T. Utu will do for Samurai Ghost, but I suggest "Trouble in Heaven". Actually, I'm joking. My brother has some album by T. Utu (Butterfly) and played it for me when we were fixing my floors a few days ago. I thought the chorus was "Choclatey Heaven", but he was actually singing "Trouble in Heaven".
I really can't get into most J-pop, though, and this stuff sounded pretty generic.

Please don't j-pop our beloved Ninja Spirit!
Valis and Son Son have it coming though.
Black_Tiger, I hadn't been watching this thread but i just looked at your SGX Ghouls and Ghosts video and noticed you also had a totally awesome SMS vs Arcade comparison. It's very nice and much appreciated. I'm a big SMS G&G fan. Two years ago I beat both Ghouls and Mickey Mouse Land of Illusion on the SMS in one day while I was home sick. I felt pretty good after that. 8)
I just posted a video of the ending of Impossamole-

Yeah, it's actually not as slow as people think, when you really watch how slow the arcade version is. Its an accomplishment to beat any GnG on any system.

Oh don't worry about that. That's why I turned to you guys so I won't make anything tacky.
Ghouls 'N Ghosts is ridiculously easy, even in the arcade. Ghosts 'N Goblins is ridiculously hard to the point where I actually dislike the game (the crappy controls didn't help). Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts was also pretty hard and pretty boring. It was slower than a senior citizen driving on Sunday. The Genesis version of Ghouls 'N Ghosts has, BY FAR, the best controls since it allows diagonals.

Ghosts N Goblins is a lot less cheap than Ghouls N Ghosts and get's easier with skill. Like other Capcom games of the time, like Trojan, once you pass the learning curve, it's actually surprisingly easy to fly through the game.
Whenever I jump into Ghosts N Goblins after not playing for a while, I still breeze through, but every time I try Ghouls N Ghosts again, I adapt pretty quick, but still spend 3/4 of the time on the last level, learning my way through like's its R-Type. Of course, I always play the japanese versions though...
Got a fun question for y'all.
Anyone get comments from newb gamers confusing the PC Engine with a ordinary PC?
Like this:
I just got a PM from someone asking did I play Valis IV on a Gamepad or keyboard and where can he get the "PC" version from.
It's time to make a PC Engine blogumentary.

Love Machine by Morning Musume would be perfect.
Just captured and uploaded Genpei Toumaden II for one last time: in full length beginning to end now that I got my Director's Account.
I died only once on the last boss.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that for the sake of getting new blood in here, I plugged in the www.pcengine-fx.com caption in the entire video.
*Phoenix Down* (what the hell am I doing using Final Fantasy lingo on a PC Engine board??)
My first PC Engine movie in a long time.
http://youtu.be/dkmaCLiDkE8
Son Son II full game, using the code that changes the sprites.
Then there's also the response, the same game in its original form beaten by a person by the name of "ChangeV", no rivalry whatsoever.
I never thought I'd see the day I actually beat this. Did it twice in one night, the second time being when I recorded what's in the link. Once really hard and frustrating, but addicting fun once you overcome it.

Nice work. I've always wanted to play through this game since it's a version of Black Tiger, it's Capcom related and a PC Engine game. But somehow I always forget about it.
Does anyone know how involved if any Capcom was in developing it?
jo31089 has uploaded the pc engine arcade neo geo fighting games onto one vid..
The art of fighting looks pretty impressive. I'm impressed with the way hudson soft uses the screen resolution switch to mimick the zoom in and out feature.
New YouTube member jumps on board with tons of PCE footage.

Dude that is so awesome, I didn't even think it was possible to do more than 3 hit combos in that game :D . This definitely makes me interested in playing that game again.

This is hilarious - Amanda's giant breast attacks are astonishingly funny! I really need to keep an eye out for some Games Express cheesecake.
My Fuun Kabuki Den boss battle videos. I find the lack of actual PCE Tengai Makyo: Ziria/Manji Maru/Kabuki battle clips on YouTube disturbing as people only do the cinemas.

Despite the language barrier, this game is fuckin' A+. Besides I pick up a few new words here and there.
I've been tinkering around with Zero on my SFC for quite a bit too, so hope that works out also.
i love this guys compilation of pc engine warning screen.. I'm assuming its mostly to do with the different system cards.. its pretty amazing how much effort 3rd party companies put into these. Love the Dragon slayer and Dracula X ones ^__^

The Godzilla warning screen is like 30 minutes long!
