Title: PAL compatibility
Post by: guyjin on 04/22/2006, 06:25 PM
I have been searching the forums, the website, and the internet in general trying to find out if I can play PAL TG games on my TG16, with or without adaptor.

I can't find anything. Will it just work in a tg16? will they work with a kisado? do you have to modify the inside of the system, like you do to play tg16 games on the PCE? or is it just 'you're boned'?

I ask because lik sang has the PAL version of cratermaze (just the chip) for a dollar, and I was planning on making an order with them anyway, so should I go for it?

PAL versions were the same as the TG16 games. The only difference between the US TG16 & the PAL system is the PAL one has been internally converted to run at 50Hz, not 60Hz. The games will run as unlike SNES/Mega Drive games, they don't check if the system is running 50 or 60Hz.
