Title: REQUEST: Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra RED BOOK
Post by: esteban on 02/16/2014, 03:35 AM
Comrades, I thought I had the Japanese version of M&M III PCE, but it must be in some box along with all the other stuff I can't find.

Anyway, does anyone have a quality rip of the soundtrack? Is it all Red Book, or is it PSG?, too? I can't remember. What I do know is that I suddenly wanted to listen to the tunes from M&M III, perhaps because I was reminiscing recently with a friend about the billion hours I (we) spent playing M&M I, II, III (Apple II / IIgs). Ha!

THANKS IN ADVANCE :pcgs:

TANGENT: Years ago, I sold my U.S. copy (stupid, I know) after making significant progress in the game (never did beat it)...

Here you go, folks: http://www.archives.tg-16.com/music_database.htm?col=jp&val=might (http://www.archives.tg-16.com/music_database.htm?col=jp&val=might)

PCE Red Book is gorgeous...a nice dose of atmospheric synth to keep me quite happy. Corny/formulaic at times, perhaps (even though this was 1993 release, it has stylings from 80's, see track 7), but very nicely executed. I dig it. Sure, I wish the overall atmosphere was darker/bleaker, but the tracks are quite catchy and I can't help but like them.
