Pretty excited about this too!  My NES is being modded right now and I can't wait to finally see it in glorious RGB. :D

Do you know if they got this working for Sharp Twin Famicoms yet?

the order link says an adapter board can be included for that model, so I think yes. The original basic famicom is still not supported.

I installed the NESRGB into my Twin Famicom before Tim's adaptor was made up, so I had to use my own socket adaptor:

Works a treat!

ahhh ok sorry for the dumb question i was using my phone and didn't see the other info. Hopefully these will continue to be made in the future. I know some of his older kits aren't available anymore.

I want this so bad but the cost of the kit + probable cost to have it installed makes it pretty unfeasible for me :(

This is such a decrease over the prior method if raping a playchoice board

It may be a decrease over that but I still can't justify $200+ for RGB on my NES right now :(

Keep me posted how the install goes. Are there step-by-step instructions for getting it wired up somewhere? It certainly looks beyond my skill set to do but never know :)

I have two of these, one in my Twin Fami and another in my NES top loader. They're fucking awesome and I might start saving up for a third one (!) too.

just had mine installed by baphomet @ NeoGAF, and man, what a huge jump in visual quality...can't recommend enough!  the one i got even had a switch for Playchoice 10 PPU palette option if you're into that kinda thing.
