or any equivalent screws. color doesnt matter. they just need to do the job. I live in Germany, so I cant exactly rundown to the True Value to get what I need and I had no luck at the local hardware store.
If you have a donor TE with the screws, I would like to buy them from you. I've also heard a TV Tuner has the same screws in it.
Background: I bought a grubby broken TE off ebay. I got it all cleaned up and working but it doesnt have the screws. The lack of screws wasnt in the description or obvious in the pics. I probably would've bought it anyway :P

my day just got a whole lot better =D>
Ouch but funny as hell:)
Schweaty, those screws are extremely hard to fine. Your best bet is to get a tv tuner, they use the same exact screws.
so i'm thinking of ordering this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOSB1524-Team-Losi-Screw-Set-E-Clip-Micro-T-B-DT-/251374710889?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a8719b069 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOSB1524-Team-Losi-Screw-Set-E-Clip-Micro-T-B-DT-/251374710889?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a8719b069)
total shot in the dark, and a bit pricey considering I only need 4 screws but i guess i'm desperate. does anyone have any experience with these losi micro RC cars. I know they are teensy. I almost wonder if the screws will end up being too small. any help is appreciated.
or, if some kind soul would consider going to a true value for me, i would also appreciate the help. that was always my go-to place for nuts and bolts of all sizes
Tell me what they are (diameter, length, thread pitch, etc.) and I'll hit a True Value for ya.

I recall Chop having similar problems finding those screws as well. I don't think they're common, but I could be wrong.

Necro, you're a bro. The measurements are: 7/8" long x 1/16" wide and the head is 1/8". If you have one, I would pull a bolt from a TE or a GT and take it with you in a small baggy or something. Please dont go out of your way to do this. If there is a True Value on the way to work or school or whatever, great. If there isnt, dont worry about it. I will be fine.
DragonmasterDan, thanks for the intel. I will PM Chop.
thanks err'body

I don't know if he ever found replacements though I think he tried.
Schweaty, I recently received a lot with another tv tuner. If you still haven't found the screws, I'll gladly pull them from this extra turner I have.

Turbokon, you are a lifesaver once again. I guess my only concern is: what are you going to do with that tuner after you take out the screws? If you dont want to take apart the tuner, I understand. Maybe I should buy the tuner from you, take the screws, then its my problem to replace those screws down the road. I dont know. I just dont want to leave you stuck with a tuner you cant do anything with because you took out the screws and gave them to me.
I have a tuner you can have, just pay actual shipping. I feel like turbokon may find a use for his later on :)
I didn't mind shipping the extra turner but if you insist tiptop:)
